This is a great pattern! Love the linen… & the color, just not my color… I’m told I look sickly in it & till I saw a pic of myself have to agree. Lol. I guess I’ll go for mauves or those shades. I’ve been sewing professionally for along time but love to see videos that you don’t need to be a math genius or be super skilled to follow. Your explanation is easy to follow & beautiful. It’s an easy pattern. You would have to take your own body measurements and be sure your fabric width is wide enough. Her fabric is very narrow but she’s probably a thin woman so its ok for her.
She understiched the pockets and the bias binding at the neck and arm openings. This is a poorly understood but magical technique that, if done correctly, will make your facings stay put. Understiching the facing a quarter to an eighth in from your seam on the facing side will keep the facing on the inside of your garment. This also works on in-seam pockets and bias binding used as seam finishing.

yes for boat neck, for sleeves I am sure you can find a different video that explains the shape (like a bell 🔔) of the line that attaches to the arm hole of the dress... you choose the length, whether 3/4 to short sleeve the bell depends on the curve of the dress hole. sorry I can't explain it better but if you search cutting sleeves in RUclips I am sure you will find it. good luck!

That is done using a different machine called a serger. You get the same results - stopping the seams from fraying - by using a zigzag on a regular sewing machine. Or by cutting with pinking shears.
Depends entirely on your body shape. Off the rack always makes the front bigger. But in a custom garment you can add a center dart in the back instead for a more tailored look

Use your own measurements - bust divided by 4 + 1 cm hip divided by 4 + 4 cm . The problem is if you have a large bust, there are no darts to give it shape. Best for a slender figure.
This looks so lovely, I think I can understand it but in the early bit I don’t know what you mean by ‘armhole/2’? What does the / mean?! Am I missing a link to something maybe, can anyone explain. I am a pretty good sewer but don’t get that.

Measure around you armhole then divide by 2. You can watch the basic pattern video in my channel to understand about how to measure🥰
