He's definitely like most of us, he has a love/hate relationship with the game. The game has so much potential and despite its flaws is STILL the best survival game out.. but there are a LOT of things that could be better.. and I do admire that Prebuilt doesn't suck up to the devs for it.
He performs a service in that. They need to see negatives just as much.

Going into a clothing store with shelves that you can clearly see clothes just to get a single piece of cloth, 20/10 TFP 👍

There’s literally a magazine that teaches you how to craft it out of plant fiber. Plus you can go to any house and scrap the curtains on windows, couches, beds etc.

As with most modern 7days updates; this just makes me yearn for the days of A15/A16. Well, at least the game SHOULD be stable so modders can fix their game into something playable.

You probably already know this by now but yes, those early bundles for the pipe weapons DO give you ammo. Just not a lot of it. 15 7.62 for the pipe rifle choice. I think its 30 for pipe machine gun. Ammo is actually kinda abundant, at least in my save. I'm also on default loot abundance.
Yes ammo Does feel easier to come by. I’m on day 6 playing coop w my buddy and I have 300 7.62 and over 1k shotgun shells

This is great...everyone else starts in the game, I really wanted to see all the selections from the beginning. Nice! I also felt like I was floating a bit at the start ... it's a thing. My first dig quest was also in the street - and it turned to dirt. My last regular game one of my first dig quests was in the wasteland, digging with a level 1 stone axe was awesome ...
I did see with others, the gun bundles do give you ammo. But in the case of the pipe machine gun, it's just enough for one full magazine.

The tutorial gun bundles do have ammo with the gun I picked the shotgun and got 15 ammo as well

The biggest change I've noticed is that the light armor perk was swapped to medium armor and now there is NO light armor perk.

fortitude weather resistance should become medium armor perks imo
Can’t wait to get locked into PvP this go around. The new animations are looking good. I just hope they have increased the player pop in distance.
There is also a cool down on same poi quests. Found that out the hard way. Its only about an hour or two in game time.

I am 100% sure that all of the armour will get a rebalance swiftly. Preacher gloves give 50% damage buff, primitive armour carries literally all the way through (excluding injuries), and much of it is very easy to get early on. Like I'm on like day 21 wearing preacher gloves and tier 5 prim armour and having a great time on Nomad with a club.
Also, stability is FUKKED as far as I can tell, do be careful lol. Stuff still works, but it's very sketchy for no reason.

You get 15 rounds with either of the 7.62 pipe weapon rewards for that first quest. I haven't seen the others.

I understand but I play perception and with spear 2 to the head is enough, power attacks that is.
and then is back to refilling but ofc you know better. I thought it's the same for baton from what Ive seen so far better 2 power and refill than 6 and click click run run. maybe I play normal and that's why?

I took the pipe baton as well. Also crafted a level 5 on day 6 and then promptly found a level 5 right after 😂
I've done that starting quest for 1.0 a couple of times now. So far not a single zombie spawns after I've dug up the buried supplies.
Nice you got the Exact build as me. (RTX 3070/Ryzen 5 5600x) gonna need to lower the settings a bit because performance on ultra is horrendous.

FPS are so much better even on my old PC with Intel i5 750 i got 60 on low and 35-48 on medium.
It does give you ammo

The starter pipe gun packs have ammo in it. I think I got 12 shells from the shotgun.
How do i get acsess to 1.0? or will i have to wait for a month for full realess

They need too just add another skill tree for the universal perks so they can finally balance builds that aren't just strength/fortitude every play through. Thats what my mods are for i guess
I could be spreading misinformation here, but i think that the armor offering critical debuff resistance isn't complete removed, its just now available only for Medium armor and Heavy armor (RIP light / primitive resistance)
15:00 the game give you actually a full weapon magazine for the thing you choose not much but hey better than nothing

Insane difficulty is easy you just have to get used to movement, timing attacks and know how to get better weapons.
It's when you start adding in things like nightmare run speed or crazy biome locked worlds that it becomes unfair for the player and starts REALLY challenging you.

It definitely seems lower. Usually you run into a zombie every 100 meters or so. I haven't played "1.0", yet, so I don't actually know.
I love to max out parkor first, being able to leap onto the roof of a house with ease is really handy for getting away from a horde.
It seemed like it took the same amount of hits with the pipe baton as with the wooden club.
Do you generally prefer bludgeon weapons? I just found the spear more effective with the distance you can get.
Don’t forget to turn off vsync it capps your FPS to 60

EDIT: i got to play it. fresh start my fps is down from 90-110 to 60-75. wth did they do this time?
also stamina recovers a bit faster and it doesnt drain further when you move after swinging. it was a dumb effect anyway.

You get ammp with the pipe weapons for the quest reward but very little. I thik I got 7x 7.62

Version 1.0 is quite brighter than 21, you can go in caves and burnt buildings without a headlight.
Glock found a stun baton on day one so they must have changed that because they weren't showing up like that before. Capp is playing wasteland warrior and he found a blue wood club on day one. Looks like weapons will be showing up more often in loot since you're not getting them as rewards now?
You found a hunting knife on day one - that's pretty rare before to even find any.
The sounds made it sound like I was playing Sunkenland at times. I really wished they had utilized those memory allocations of the new sounds, on memory for compute tasks to better optimize things instead. It's their game though, they can do as they please. Just not a route I would of chose, when trying to optimize things. You have to count those cycles. Seems to be a lost art these days.
The progress of experimental carry over stable? Or i have to wipe when 1.0 stable release?
it should carry over as every other experiential and stable didn't change a whole lot.. though it has been known to break mods and them have to be changed.. but a vanilla playthrough should be fine unless they make a major change between experimental and stable (which they haven't to my knowledge, but it's always possible) so tldr, you should be fine but nothing is guaranteed until it's out
i was pleasantly surprised that my xml file changes are still working. i have enemy health bars turned on and my food and drink meters on the bottom left below my health and stamina. makes it easier to keep track. now i just to find where i can change the skill points gained per level to two and i'll be golden. i noticed it feels better to me, feels less clunky than it did before.
