I flew to Charlotte from Seattle as I was sick of liberal Karen’s in Seattle. I never heard of Concord but made a tour with my real estate agent, the very first house I visited made my heart fall in love with the nature, with neighbors, with the conservative culture of the community and I hit the deal right away and I’m so very glad that I did. It’s a place that despite blue states colors don’t matter. White, black,Hispanic etc all treat each other like a big family. I love this community.
When I moved to Charlotte back in January I thought Concord was an after thought. But since then...I was invited to a Black Vegan Jazz Festival at Cabarrus Brewery in Concord. It was quite surprising, impressive, and innovative. And I'm not even vegan! lol. I've also regularly gone to at least 2 black owned cigar lounges in Concord...Sticks & Beans & Tailored Smoke. They both are nice vibes. Concord is definitely offering more than what I thought!
Cabarrus Brewery is a nice spot. However, I didn’t know about the cigar lounges. That is impressive. I’ll have to check them out! Dee, Thank you for sharing that
Thanks for posting this cause he was seriously with a straight face was trying to plug the renaissance festival. Outside of it being culturally not my vibe who TF still goes?
Thanks you so much for this video, Sir! I’m considering a move from Miami to the Charlotte area but don’t want to be in the actual city. Concord seems to be the safest suburb for me as a single female 👍
You're welcome. Thanks for watching Kori, but please look into Steele Creek (in Charlotte), Fort Mill, Pineville, Matthews, Huntersville, and Waxhaw. There are several suburbs that fit your criteria and are very, very safe (even when compared to Concord). Let us know if we can help you find a place to buy down here. We're here to help.
I was born in Charlotte Presbyterian hospital in 86 and grew up in concord till the age of 12 or so then i moved to the eastern part of the state out on the outer banks. My family all still lives out in the charlotte and Concord area all over. I still go back to visit and its a great place to be, i went to w.r.odell elementary school. Have lots of great stories and history of Concord if anyone is intersted feel free to let me know
Thank you, Sir Ashley, this was very informative. I'm out in Charlotte now for a few weeks browsing and researching areas for me and my family to move to. Concord was one of the areas on my list as well as Matthew's.

My hometown born and raised…..I left years ago but it was “the all American” city when I was growing up. It was pretty progressive for a small southern town
Got a interview for a job in Charlotte I plan on moving as soon as I get my taxes lol nah I need to stack up some more. I don't care if I have to get a room until my lease is up on my apartment I'm moving to Concord especially since the new job hmm $25 an hour $3500 sign on bonus compared to what's in Fayetteville NC. My plan take that 3500 and pay this lease off tax money going towards a house Idc if I have to drive my bucket or put a 1000 down on something I'm moving to Concord this April
I have given a call and shot a text to you and didn’t get any call backs I def do not want to go to anyone but you and hope to hear a response back soon
Mary, very good question. I'm unsure. I do know there are several UTV dealers in the area though, so I would assume there are trails to ride. Thank you for watching and I will ask around and try to get you an answer
Lives in Charlotte and works in Concord nothing small about Concord try the Christmas traffic at the Mills it's over a hundred plus thousand people bigger than any city in SC including Columbia and its growing like a weed also building a Red Bull on the Carvana property
We’ve had a few over the years, but they’re quite rare and have never caused the widespread damage seen in other places. The few I’m aware of caused minimal damage and were isolated to a small area. Hope that’s helpful.
Gastonia is improving and their FUSE district is becoming a main attraction. I wasnt feeling Gastonia 7 years ago, but the town is improving incrementally. Housing is more affordable too!
Concord is medium sized city but growing a lot. its def not a small city. I think its at around 100k people at least now. close to charlotte too, I live about 10 min from Charlotte in Concord .
Thank you very much for your great information. I am living in High Point and considering to move in Charlotte next year. But I am still afraid of jobs there because we are new immigrants and our English is not really well. So do you have any suggestions for new immigrants workplaces and homes as well?
Thank you for reaching out. I do know Concord and Kannapolis are getting an influx of jobs with Amazon and other business opening up locations in the area. I've heard positive things about Amazon as a workplace. (granted, it's from the perspective of only a few workers.)
Police are terrible and petty like no other place I've ever live. They have a ridiculous conviction rate. Traffic violations are ridiculous. No I'm not someone that doesn't abide by the.laws. but DWLR carried 120 days in jail. That's insane while simple assault carries 10 days make it make sense. The job industry has improved alot. The bus system is very slow takes u 2 busses to get most places that an hour and half+ that's terrible IMO and.it stops running at 8 p.m. and doesn't start until 6:30 A.M. Housing used to be pretty affordable when I moved here now a 1 bdrm apartment is going to cost 900-1500$ depending on location. The traffic isn't to to bad. But they built quite a few roundabout that are completely unnecessary and create unnecessary traffic. They dont seem to have a grip on how Traffic is supposed to flow it Def make u wonder if they are even paying attention to the designs and how it's going to effect the people actually traveling. The schools are phenomenal. Although they could definitely use more places to take children. Not to many options. The public parks are beautiful. Overall I'd give it 6/10 . Thanks for reading
