We're looking to relocate from San Diego. My husband is a Retired Marine Combat Veteran & San Diego is simply too fast paced post 2020 & we're looking for a smaller community that offers diversity, great high school options and within our budget. We both work from home, so very minimal commuting.
I have to explore more of the metro. My cousin lives in Concord. A lot of NYers live there. I don’t see much every time I go but I hear there are some good areas
People have these crime comments. You don’t want danger but living in major metros with millions of people you are going to have traffic and crime. I Think crime is relative. I have lived here all my life. As a kid we use to leave the doors unlocked. Now I won't do that but I feel pretty safe anywhere I go. There are bad people of course but things are pretty quiet all around!!!!
It's a nice place to the eye if you close your eyes to the confederate flags. Word is a judge presiding there will not show mercy to anyone of color because of something that happen to his family member. I think it's a nice place to live but not to play. I had consider buying a home there but changed my mind.
