Thank you so very much for the info . Especially about not taking furniture and appliances with you, I like the way you said Hire insured movers “good ones”. I have learned the hard way that being insured doesn’t necessarily mean that your belongings will be in good hands .
I started this years ago... I sell as much as possible on Offerup. I keep the basic essentials and pack everything into one truck. Go to IKEA/Amazon search for the FRAKTA bag. These bags are so good for moving and storage

I have furniture row in my city, they are pricey but of good quality. I bought some furniture there 4 yrs ago, they’re still beautiful.

You're welcome. There's pro's and cons to waiting. Pro is you get to know the area. However, the con is you'll be paying significantly more in a year. It's a difficult decision. Thanks for watching.

How many square feet do you live in? I’m considering a job move. I pay 1850 for 1000sqft. A &3,000 couch . I would simply give away the expensive table and long expensive dresser drawers. I suspect I’d put a bed, couch, clothes and my pet. Hire movers is smart for sure. I’d pay 100-200$ per hour. Again an apartment to a Charlotte apartment.

I always got my moving boxes on truck day of my old job... I worked at a restaurant.... When I move again, they will be my first place for boxes.
That's a great idea! Yes, restaurants are an excellent place to get free boxes.
I would suggest to be careful if getting free boxes-- this is a good way to bring cockroaches and other insects into your new home. This has happened to me just bringing in a box from my garage

May I know why are you targeting Charlotte NC? Every city has its own pros and cons.. just to make business ? I am from Minneapolis, I don’t have anything bad about it.. accept places as it is
Yes, every city has its pros and cons. But I know Charlotte and the Carolinas so I speak on things I know.
I'm sure if you searched youtube for "pros and cons of Minneapolis" you would get tons of videos on the topic.

What do you mean by easy? Most landlords are wanting certain requirements of applicants. Most want 1st and last month rent as well as a credit score of at least 640.
Yes, there are landlords with lower requirements, but the ones I mentioned are common in the area.

Its possible but will be challenging. It also depends on where you will work and live.
Who were you're movers. I never had good movers in Charlotte.

$1000 for daycare a month is too pricey.
There are cheaper and more cost efficient options but the waiting list is extremely long. $1000/month is expensive but when compared to major cities, its actually on the low side. Out west daycare can get as high as $2500/month, and in the DC area, its not uncommon to see daycare costing $2000+/month.
Unfortunately that’s the norm now.
