Asking if the mod needs a tune after Essentially means you're some lazy pos who shouldn't be modding cars because at the end of the day you're going to destroy a good car

Our downpipe does not need a tune to operate and you will experience a performance gain, but to unlock the full potential of the downpipe we do recommend a tune!
Everyone ragging this price without checking other similar products. This is a GESI cat, highest quality possible. Cheaper then what's out there for GR Yaris, and just a bit more expensive then GESI catted options for WRX and STI. Pretty sure the GESI cat alone is like $600.... Those $300 DPs your looking at are either catless or running garbage cats.

Im curious how that matters? Im not being a smart ass im jw. Because the awd is always on. Its just power splits are different
@@lakai02 Not "supposed to", but 4wd has more drag, so in 2WD mode the numbers look bigger without actually being more. Its a bragging thing. If you want accurate numbers you have to test it as you would drive it. On a VW however, its FWD until you need the extra grip, so 2WD testing makes sense because that is the primary mode.
Should reveal numbers after each pull. Kinda shaddy numbers...

I just bought one bc my brother has one (works for Toyota) we were having a blast in his..he sold his GR supra and wrx says this is the funniest car and I agree. Of course 300 bhp would be better and 300 torque ideal but man it's fun

"funniest" you mean like makes you laugh, or most enjoyable? Who your bro? I work for HQ and have a red one about to land. Having driven both this and the Supra back to back on track, the Soop is definitely a better track car and the Corolla diff overheats almost instantly. That said, the Corolla makes more sense on the street than the Supra.

Yes it will since it is a performance modification.
It does not void your warranty if your car fails and Toyota determine that the modification caused the failure then your warranty is void.

Given how erratic the numbers are run to run, it just proves that an AWD dyno is not the way to dyno these cars. Others have seen MUCH more consistent figures dynoing them properly in FWD mode and no driveshaft. I'd like to see this product dyno'd properly.

I've got a red one just like it on the boat from Japan right now. Seems decent, but a lot more expensive than one for VAG cars of similar construction and with all the other thermal weakness this is going to cost a fortune to get everything up to where it needs to be.
I own this car, and I'm disappointed that Toyota created this car like it can be driven at hight speeds, for longer periods, and the overheating is what's holding it back. I daily drive it, but knowing it already has quick limitations sucks.
This is why we designed the OTL front mount intercooler, weve completely avoided this issue now!
No one paying 1350 for this, well I shouldn't say that cuz some will but just wait everyone, in like 18 months they will be like 300$ for a bunch of places

manufacturers hp is at the crank almost always. When tuned were measuring power at the wheels so there will always be a drivetrain loss on every car.
