Ruby might not have been given notice from CPS they were coming, but she knew it would happen sooner or later so I’m sure she coached the kids on what to say when/if the cops or CPS ever came. And honestly, back then the abuse probably wasn’t as bad as it is now. I don’t think it got as physical (starving/restraints/wounds) bc they were still filming. I’m scared that as soon as that channel stopped posting and ruby was doing connexxions that’s when the physical abuse peaked. The mental and emotional abuse seems to have been a lifelong thing for most of the kids, which is still not okay, I’m just thinking ruby thought she could control them with her threats and would just take things away, then once off camera Jody started telling her she wasn’t doing enough or something snd she needed to physically punish them. The abuse ruby recorded and posted is sick enough. It makes me sick worrying about what was done after. They’ll be back in court tomorrow so who knows what crap she will try there again. I’m really curious if she is going to make a plea deal or if she’s that narcissistic that she thinks she can get out of this.
Look at most abuse cases especially those that end in death- CPS and courts almost always did shit to protect them and had multiple instances to save them. Unfortunately, social media viewers will overreact over the least little thing, so CPS has to be mindful of that. Imo, they should have made a repeat visit or perhaps tuned in to the vlogs. They could have gotten a more accurate picture, especially with the lack of a bed for the oldest son. My godson called CPS on his mother some years ago because she wouldn't buy him name brand (expensive) shoes and clothes. They'd had an open case before so the woman came out and once she was made aware of the fact that there was no neglect, she explained that, by SC USA law, his parents only had to provide him with a bed(room), bathroom, food, water, electricity and areasonable amount of clean clothing. She even told him that the clothes could be grey sweatpants and shirts. Turns out, the poor kid thought that if he had the same things as the "cool kids", then they'd want to be his friends. The point of the story is that, at least here in my home state, a parent/guardian has to provide a bed for their kids. I wonder if that's going to be brought up in her court case? 🤔

You know who else failed these kids-the JUDGES who DENIED law enforcement and CPS’s repeated requests for SEARCH WARRANTS every time they were called to the Franke home by neighbors, family members, school officials and friends. The kids would not open the door to police or CPS when they showed up to check on them every time they were requested. This didn’t have to get to the point where two kids were days to weeks from dying of starvation and/or sepsis from wounds inflicted by ropes and metal handcuffs. Had the search warrants been approved when requested by LE & CPS, intervention and help would have saved these kids years earlier. The media and everyone on social media needs to keep the pressure on to name those judges and hold them to account. Changes need to be made so that the threshold for search warrants to check on children is the lowest and easiest to get. Who were these judges? And what laws need to change to ensure kids’ safety is the top priority?!

CPS dropped the ball big time. They needed to go to a camp. They had the mental problems.
You know who else failed these kids-the JUDGES who DENIED law enforcement and CPS’s repeated requests for SEARCH WARRANTS every time they were called to the Franke home by neighbors, family members, school officials and friends. The kids would not open the door to police or CPS when they showed up to check on them every time they were requested. This didn’t have to get to the point where two kids were days to weeks from dying of starvation and/or sepsis from wounds inflicted by ropes and metal handcuffs. Had the search warrants been approved when requested by LE & CPS, intervention and help would have saved these kids years earlier. The media and everyone on social media needs to keep the pressure on to name those judges and hold them to account. Changes need to be made so that the threshold for search warrants to check on children is the lowest and easiest to get. Who were these judges? And what laws need to change to ensure kids’ safety is the top priority?!

And then she pled guilty to child abuse
CPS didn't do their job, as usual. I know two little boys that died because CPS kept giving them back. The little boys were murdered by one of their own parents!
Those programs for kids and teens are so abusive I’ve heard horror stories

@@marvin2678I’ve gone into a deeper dive into this heartbreaking story. Apparently her vlog was taken down and none of the old videos are able to be viewed except those that had been downloaded by viewers. I did see one video where Ruby was “justifying” why she wouldn’t bring lunch to her hungry 5 or 6 year old daughter who had forgot to make her own lunch that day. Just unbelievable.
Chad probably thought the wilderness behavior camp was like a lovely summer vacation.
Are CPS agents trained to understand that if they question the kids in the house, and especially in front of the abusing parents, that they’re just going to lie to protect themselves from the consequences? Even if they interview them in another room do they not have better methods of getting to the truth? If they just ask how are you and the kids say “Oh we’re fine” and then they just leave?? Wtf
You know why he probably had behavioral issues? Because every single moment of his life is filmed for millions of people to see.

And doesn’t suffer too much more not having her around
As he must still love her
And be trying to deal with living without her plus healing from her torture
Hope the rest of their lives they live happily hope they can recover mentally of what they went through glad the people who hurt them will get their karma
Oh what do you know. CPS didnt do anything and it escalated to the damage of the rest of the kids.
