I came back to pick up where I left off on the VOD since I had to leave partway during the livestream. I'm so happy you're continuing Iceborne btw!
3:05:04 Did you end up upgrading your tree off-stream? Do you have at least 3 Harvest Box slots? I think the max is 4 but 3 is good too. And I hope you're using the appropriate fertilizers and the catalyst.

Great hunts in this stream, IRyS! I think you've got the hang of clutching and using ZSD when your sword is amped. If you want to do it even faster, you can go for mounts and amp your sword up for free, then put on your Temporal Mantle and clutch ZSD until it wears off. The mount finisher is a free ZSD, and even if you don't get the finisher, you can slash away when they get knocked down. Best way to build mount damage is to jump off ledges and use aerial axe attacks, or jump off walls/vines for aerial axe attacks. As for Health Boost, you can make decorations for that through the Elder Melder and slot them in. There's also a clutch claw tutorial you could do in the LR/HR quest list that will show you how to wall bonk monsters for more free damage. Looking forward to the next MonHun stream! Oh and Glavenus is a good set to go for, you can get Max Might 5 and unlock the Glavenus skill with 3 of its pieces.

And I'm so happy to have finally helped you in one of the hunts! It's the first time I've every joined you for a game on stream so I was pretty nervous
I was the Kaworu Gunlance user during the Behemoth Hunt party! I may not have healed you as much as the Hunting Horn user, nor did I grab the agro from Behemoth like the Lance user, but at least I was able to do a ton of damage

Really happy to see you enjoy hunting and improving throughout the game! Wall bang requires 1) the monster not in angry state (yellow eye icon on mini map, red eye icon is angry), 2) you have slinger ammo equipped, 3) clutch claw to monster's head, then you can adjust where the monster facing to wall and perform slinger burst (wall bang). There should be a clutch claw tutorial quest teaching you that and it helps a lot in hunting Hope the headache isn't huting much, have a good meal and rest well IRyS~ Take care and enjoy your outing with Flare tomorrow

Fun hunting stream! I enjoy the way you play this game in solo to be honest. You shouldn’t think about how much damage others do, they are players with hundreds if not thousands of hours of experience with late game equipment (that you will get as well) :)
If there is to consider how you handled certain monsters for the first time on your own with the current gear you have? Yeah, in my opinion you play really well dear nephilim and you should give more credit to yourself for how you hunted the monsters so far!
It’s so beautiful to see so many people supporting you and enjoying your singing/content. It brings me joy and happiness witnessing you doing your best with what you love as a singer/streamer. Your singing, japanese and streams are between the main reasons I can hold on any kind of bad situation on my own, keep rocking on dear and thank you for inspiring me everyday ^^

Irys, please read this if you would like to know about mounting monsters:
All monsters have a certain damage threshold you must hit with aerial attacks in order to mount them. It isn't just pure chance. With enough aerial hits you will eventually mount them. This threshold increases with each successful mount. Also, there is an easier method to performing these attacks. First, sheathe your weapon. Then, run off a ledge. While in mid-air when you are about to make contact with the monster press Right Trigger. This will make your character perform a Draw Attack, which will unsheathe your weapon into sword mode and hit the monster.

Also don't worry about your recent difficulties with monsters. Master Rank monsters are on a different level and it's an adjustment from lower ranks. As many have said, this is the difficulty one can expect from a regular MH game so all hunters have encountered the same difficulties that you're having. So I know you'll be able to do much better as time goes by. A pro hunter is not born overnight, after all!

Noticed you are definitely slowly getting better with the Swaxe or maybe just MonHun in general And I'll say this much, that Barioth and most of the fights around where you are at currently, is generally where newbs tend to hit their "wall" in MR. Where they either give up or meet their most hated and memorable monster to fight in the series. And even though you might be clearing them with 1 cart left. You have been doing really good for all those first encounters And that's without using wallbangs and some tricks to make fights easier/faster

Thank you for the stream! The Behemoth was pretty tough! Too much to dodge and the instant kill attack, oh no Other monsters were too but even though Iceborne seems to get much harder, you still are going through it smoothly! Good job HunteRyS!
