I tried it once at the aqueduct and caught a few dinks. Next video I’ll throw a Ned for sure. Any recommendations for baits? I have a few in my arsenal already.
@@JS1erra20 I was at Hensley yesterday. They were dialed in on the ned rig. I threw a green pumpkin ned head with a cranberry 3 inch yum dinger. Got a couple off that. Also got a couple off a 5 inch cranberry yum dinger Texas rigged. I was able to get three off a green pumpkin 3 inch dinger with the green pumpkin ned head. The rain cleared the water over there too so I think green pumpkin was the better choice for sure. They were all shallow too. I was catching them right off the shore on rockpiles that were coming off land into the water. They were all 1 to 2 pounds, but Hensley can usually be pretty tough so I was happy lol.
@@EpIc_NaChO that sounds like an awesome day at the lake! I definitely will try Ned and probably Texas rig. I really like throwing the jig even though I don’t get many fish. I’m going to try more baits that get more bites rather than bigger bites.

@@JS1erra20 I would definitely say it's more of a numbers bait. Those Hensley giants have been elusive to me for the past 3 weekends.
@@JS1erra20 The best ned rig bait imo is the 3" Yamamoto FAT senko. I just use dingers cause they are cheap haha.

I’ve only been there a handful of times. But the beaver pond has risen since the season opened.
