Gordon: makes a whole Dinner as a snack
When was a chili dog a snack?
in my country, Indonesia, corn fritter is called Perkedel Jagung. We usually add minced garlic to the dough as well to get more flavor.
Makan nasi padang pake perkedel jagung, mantap poll...
The other difference is that we also fry it in a lot more oil, making it much crispier than the one shown here.
garlic does make things taste better
In my city, Banjarmasin, we Called Ampal Jagung
And prawn 🦐 !
The sniper filming Gordon’s cooking is probably always drooling.
@Thomas Kirkpatrick 😳
@Thomas Kirkpatrick For the hostage.
Often, it is one of his daughters...
He's soo zoomed in you can see what the next video will be
I would be for sure lol 😆😅
It's actually pretty chill and nice to watch seeing someone cooking or making some sweets.
Gordons at his best when hes all alone like this. You can hear his love of food come through clear as a bell
Even better if you end up with a plate of snacks, afterwards!

What's this lad? is this some kind of troll link or something? I think it's probably rick roll.
Why does Gordon Ramsay sound like he's documenting wildlife?
a wild gordon in his natural habitat
the guy in your pfp looks cool he needs his own anime
😀
First time seeing and hearing Gordon?
Because he is!
I think we all watch Gordon's stuff without really knowing how to cook. We're just here to listen to calm gordon.
Gordon taught me much of what I know as a cook 😎
Yup.
I can cook well but I'm just here to learn some more recipes
Na ive done like 10 of his recipes. Always tasty
I can cook i just never have motivation
Ahhh, the good ole Hubble Telescope footage of Ramsey's dishes. Good lord, zoom out lol.
Too true lmao
Gotta make sure people can see what's going on on their ti-84s
Jeez I had a headache by the end of the video lol
Watching this while snacking on gummy bears and Doritos.

There's no bit of a link to what ur eating and what he's making😂

"Let's be honest, we've all got a tin of sweet corn somewhere"
I have eaten frozen pizzas 4 of the past 5 days, and the only reason I stopped was because I ran out. I can promise you, I do not have sweet corn.
holy fuck this is me
@Helen Pauls If its delicious its nutritious
I was thinking the same thing XD
Gordon: "We all have a can of sweet corn somewhere"
Me: *looks to both sides* "W-We do?"
@Helen Pauls Cool. We'll improve our diet, and you can send us the money for the fresh ingredients, and to reimburse us for the time we'll be cooking instead of working a job.
@Helen Pauls [EDIT: The following few posts was just me having a bad day and taking it out on Helen. I don't actually think that was a sexist statement, and, in fact I agree with it to an extent.]
Woah. Casual sexism.
I love how Gordon always adds little tips that are actually paramount to a decent dish - eg. “2/3rds ingredients and 1/3rd batter is the secret to a good fritter..”
Just as I had been thinking that I really enjoy fritters but am disappointed when I’ve had ones that are too doughy.
Awesome, snack ideas! We all need them after eating chips and Twinkies the whole pandemic.
@then ur awesome No, go away. And stop spamming this under every comment.
Speak for yourself tubby
I like all his moves on prepping as much as his cooking. Deseeding the pepper was awesome ...i been doing it the slow and wrong way for years..thank you for that and all the rest.
Whenever I do a task I hear Gordon saying hmm nice.
I really needed this since I need some snack recipes for school
@Not RickRoll 👇 4 i did't saw but dont click guys its rickroll

Everyone's got a tin of sweet corn in their cupboard. Do you also have a dozen other fresh ingredients?
You dont?
Lmao buy stopid
@@Atlap_ too bad I don’t have the fucking money for it
@@vroXhh tf you mad?
Save on Twinkies get fresh ingredients instead. I always do 🥸
Tip, if your fritters are not cooked on the inside and browning too fast on the outside, just put them in the oven for 15 mins. Depending on the type of flour and humidity, some flour is more dense than others. I always get that raw dough effect in the rainy season here.
i’ll never stop laughing at brits saying yoghurt like “YOGGUT”

You could also do this with tuna or sardines. Really amazing. Especially if you wanna add protein and some fat yo the meal. (The fritters)

The best thing about corn is its versatility. It blends in soo well with almost every veg dish, especially Pizza!

I had retired from cooking, but you make me want to cook again. Thanks Chef. Love to you and the family. Hugs to Oscar.
the whitebait one is also one of North Vietnamese food, but we marinate it with fish sauce, garlic and chili pepper, then fry till it crunchy. If you have chance to buy fish sauce from some of the region in Vietnam, not factory made but made by people in that region, even better if you can take the smell.
I can sit down and watch Gordon cooking the whole day
As a Vietnamese, I can say that baguette looks stunning as hell
It's lacking some things like daikon, butter and pate but it looks passable enough.
@@jaderabbit898 agree,but I personally don't really like daikon so......

I just followed everything Gordon did in this video. I think my mouth just went to heaven. Probably not as good as Gordon’s, but the man’s hand is like the touch of an angel.

Taking the seeds out of a pepper doesn't lower the heat. Capsaicin (which generates the heat) is found in the inner white parts of the pepper, which is called the pith.
And in the seeds in a pretty high concentration. Dude, just taste it one way, then the other. I have, and there is certainly a difference.
Of course GR makes a tin of corn 🌽 looks and taste delicious 😋

Why do I always end up watching these when hungry.
Alll my life I've cooked but every time I watch a Gordon Ramsay video I learn something new, whether it's a recipe, flavour combination or technique.
I love Gordon ... The passion for food never gets old.
Coriander on meatballs.... basil would be the perfect replacement but that's just me.
Gordon should do an oil-free challenge
>grab a pestle and mortar
>proceeds to bring his Flintstone tools 😂
What do you think a mortar and pestle is? It's a bowl shaped rock and a stick shaped rock. There's no powered version.
@@farkasmactavish I know, i'm just saying it looks very authentic compared to modern tools.
Jordan is a whole snack himself
i just love watching gordon cook. i'm gonna be a chef next 5 years from now

As a native Detroiter, Gordon tackling a chili dog is a tall order. I have to say, the way he did them sounds wonderful. #props
I love that he's not specific. It's all to-taste, it makes it seem so much more approachable.
Gordon the Enigma, scream of a demon and the voice of an angel. A show of thumbs: Who actually makes these recipes or just endlessly enjoys seeing how it's done proper?
that moment when food is soo good you start seeing atoms
The corn fritter batter needs bacon, then fry fritters in bacon grease.
the smile on your face at the end says it all sir , you love the kitchen and the food looks great
Wow! A pun I actually laughed at "a dog worth crossing the street for!"
Gordon Ramsay's Hi 5:
1. Salt
2. Pepper
3. Olive Oil
4. Butter
5. Hot Pan
What brand of pans does Gordon use?
in Indonesia, that sweet corn frittel called “bakwan jagung” 🤣 we usually serve it with hot chili sauce instead of yogurt
The first dish is called Bakwan Jagung in Indonesian, and it's one of favorites snack that everyone eat almost everyday
Bener banget😅
Gordon: leave to marinade for up to two hours
Also Gordon: ready in 20 minutes!
Gordon: “A touch of olive helps relax the mi…chellin star chef”
In Indonesia we called Corn fritters "Bakwan Jagung", but we don't use milk, just regular water. Usually we dip it in chili sauce or eat it with raw chili.
Others=enjoying his recipies
Me= oh he is left handed .
Wonderful can’t wait to try this! Made your Chicken Parm recipe last evening it was fantastic.
"Let's be honest, we've all got a tin of sweet corn somewhere" ..Of course! As sure as we've all got fresh eggs, two fresh chili pepers, sping onion, yoghurt, fresh lime and koriander just lying around the house somewhere.
Just made these along with your sweet and sour pork chops. Great stuff!
I just ran to my kitchen and made the corn fritters. Literally took ten minutes to make AND eat three! Alas, I only had one tin of corn; now none. I vow to never be without tinned corn ever, ever again.
Mr. Ramsey I don’t know if you’ll see this but can you do a series on how to match flavors and which foods go together. It’ll help when trying to understand why you put certain ingredients in to get a specific taste
I love his videos, Hell’s Kitchen, and Master Chef. I was eleven when Season 19 Hell’s Kitchen came out now its Season 20 and im 12!
I have never seen anyone putting more on a teaspoon than that and saying "half a teaspoon"
Don't know about the yogurt but the fritter would be good with a good type of dressing or a salad.
Me: "You spelled chili wrong, Chef"
Gordan: "Oh, fuck off you muppet"
Me: "Yes, chef"
2:11 Gordon doing his Homer Simpson impression
Ramsey is my inspiration in my kitchen I learned more western food...
Camer is too close need more wide angle shots
Yummy... The whitebait, being one of my favourites anyway made me feel very hungry. I wondered if it would work to do the fritters smaller to add to a buffet... or do they have to be served hot?
Still enjoy watching even though I only cook Chinese food. I would just check out Gordon's new video when I get frustrated by cooking, since the electric stove in my apartment never gives me enough heat for a stir-fry.
where i live, we deep fried the corn fritters and eat it with vegies or peanut chili sauce.
Mr Gordon is like your grandpa who cooks with your grandma
5:58 Ooh,Sonic is gonna like that xd
Love this recipe my mom use to make these fritters and also add cod fish and now I do..very delish…😂
Thank you so much. I have been looking all over for great snacks to make in style and I found it. Awesome!
Whats a good dip to use for crispy chicken burgers?
In next video, we can probably see the food molecule structures with them zooms.
I’m a good normal cook for my family but I’ve been cooking Chef Ramsay’s dishes that don’t have 36 ingredients that I don’t have 25 of them I’ve never heard of. 10 of them I can’t even find to order them.

Yeah except he’s got something intangible that no one else does. That’s where the money is made
@@Vikas_710 *Gordon Ramsay*, actually - try being more level-headed before you throw a fit over nothing... Idiot.
Also from the dozens of restaurants worldwide, and from his TV shows.
@@farkasmactavish obviously, but he wouldn’t have them if it weren’t for his intangible qualities.
In Indonesia we called it Bakwan Jagung and usually we eat it with chilli
Meatballs actually originated in
Korea & Japan and were brought into Europe & Southeast Asia during the early 19th century.
Those friters and grilled corn look amazing
What about the griddle pan for an electric stove?
We want a milad and Gordon Ramsay collab
Fried corn absolutely genius
Could you ask the camera man to zoom in a litle bit more? I think it will be simply better lol
Everything looks so good 🤩
I'm gonna try the first recipe -
it is called bakwan jagung here in Indonesia- but yours
is fancy and healthier version of bakwan jagung with less oil!
Zoom in please i can't count how many electrons the atoms have
I like that he explains why he does certain things.
Same here! Some steps (like sift) I would just skip because I didn't know why they were done and it seemed like extra work for no actual difference. But knowing why to sift or cut things a certain way makes me want to do them.
@@McChicken94 Exactly! One time he stated that to not burn butter in a pan add a little bit of oil first. If he hadn’t stated that it helps to not burn the butter, i definitely wouldn’t have taken the extra time to add oil lol
@@MrYellowtailmonkey Ha! We think alike 😂
Who would've thought that Gordon actually got a relaxing voice?😊😊😊
