I've had moderate to severe psoriasis for over twenty years. Not one doctor has ever recommended diet change, they have all prescribed ointment and injections that do not work and have given me incredibly awful side effects. In walks Dr. "Amazing" Eric Berg with his research and advice, I follow and cut gluten, and BOOM! Two weeks later I'm almost clear. I am ASTOUNDED! I can't thank this man enough for his dedication to educating us.

I have Psoriasis, I had already discovered simply by just by taking 2 fish oil capsules a day, and Vitamin D, reducing diary products and sugar I had a major improvement in my Psoriasis. Ridding skin Psoriasis does not mean there isn't ongoing inflammation. You can have psoriatic arthritis without showing skin Psoriasis. Follow up is needed and testing for PsA. All these recommendations are great, but may not stop ongoing systemic inflammation that the skin doesn't reveal.

@@jeffb.140 I disagree with your sentiment that as an auto-immune 'condition', (which nearly every modern type of ill- health condition is attributed to), cannot be dealt with effectively. Finding out the trigger in any auto-immune condition & dealing with the underlying cause and not the symptoms only - is the answer.
I've had virtually every auto-immune condition- including severe arthritis & psoriasis for many years. And believe it or not, I took no prescribed medications at all for years - as I honestly do not subscribe to that method - having seen my late mother popping various pills in their dozens prescribed by qualified physicians which did absolutely zero for her, instead sped up her demise. Today, I am free - for 5 years + (& have been so), from any of the auto-immune ailments which plagued me.
LOL, the answer was found in an inexpensive everyday kitchen product - bicarb and elimination of stress, drinking water, walking 1/2 hour/daily, bowel cleansing. My diet was slightly adjusted with no elimination but reduced sugars & red meat. Hey presto!
*NB*. In the case of arthritis, I even googled to view a video on what hand physio therapy I could do myself to deal with & repair the arthritic damage to my hands (seemingly bone distortions and painful swelling in my finger joints and wrist). I did all the above simultaneously, the self physio was very painful but did the job (once again - no prescribed medication or pain killers). Not forgetting (not everyone's cuppa tea) - daily prayers to the Ultimate Physician Christ Jesus. 😉

After 40 years of scratching myself to pieces mainly at night. Living on cortisone creams for 40 years. I came across your channel and decided I had nothing to lose by trying some of your suggestions.I started VitD 50 000 IU’s once a week along with a daily K2 and an omega 3. I realized only after several months that I was no longer scratching. Everyone who knows me is amazed as my elbow was a very visible area which was Always inflamed, bleeding and scabs. Now a faint white patch.
I cannot believe that adding these vitamins to my body was all it took to change my life. Thank you for all your research and advice.
I must add… I do believe that gluten is something that does not do well for me either.

I really appreciated this video, thank you. I was covered in Psoriasis for over 30 years and battled tummy issues, psoriatic Arthritis, and extreme weight loss. My life was controlled by it...I easily spent over a million dollars on creams, ointments, treatments, supplements...you name it...I tried it. I even tried going Gluten Free which helped but not totally. I took a temp. job filling in for a Baker at a logging camp. Within the week, I was covered and raw and I mean raw. Turned out I'm allergic to wheat and got dermatitis from it...not Psoriasis. Ointments are different and often made me worst. I reacted to touching flour from baking bread. Now I'm 100% Wheat Free with everything from laundry soap to my makeup and my skin is so clear, subtle, soft, and beautiful for my age for 3 years straight. So happy! Once in a while, if I come into contact with traces of "Wheat" even from sheets in a hotel...I would know it within the hour. Yet, I can eat barley without breaking out in Dermatitis. I now encourage everyone I know with Psoriasis to try going wheat free. Worth a shot!

my CBC report had shown deficiency in B12, D3. I started supplements B12 , D3 and COD Liver Oil Capsules. I have lighter note of scalp psoriasis. My BMI is 20.6, quite on the normal side, don't drink/smoke. I follow intermittent fasting. However the condition and itchiness didn't improve much. After starting the supplements the itchiness and flakes reduced in 3-4 days itself, I was shocked, I consulted two doctors before both prescribed some ointment which if you stop psoriasis is back immediately also very bad skin thinning steroid cannot be used for more than 7 days. None of the doctor prescribed any dietary change or vitamins, neither asked to get CBC tested. I had literally asked them if any life style changes can cure this, they said- "nothing like that, autoimmune diseases do not have a reason, it can happen to anyone." Thank you so much Dr. Eric for the right direction and I can clearly see a difference. More such videos with advanced information on the cure would be really helpful.

@@SM-yw5nm The only way to cure autoimmune disorders naturally proven by online testimonials (Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila Peterson, Dr Eric Berg, KenDBerryMD)
To cure autoimmune disorders you need to eliminate all inflammatory foods from your diet. That includes processed food, gluten (white bread, pasta, white rice, ...), night shades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, ...)
Most of these foods are carbs so you will either need to choose between a Keto diet or a carnivore diet to prevent inflammation coming from the food you eat.
While being on a Keto or carnivore diet you should combine it with intermittent fasting a 16:8 is recommended, intermittent fasting reduces inflammation in the body, boosts HGH, detoxes and nourishes the body, low insulin levels and you will have it easier to prevent yourself from eating the carbs that cause inflammation in the body.
When your fast is completed you should consume bile salts (TUDCA) or turmeric to modulate the TH-17 in the body (3-4x) . People with autoimmune disorders have a T-Cell dysfunction that causes the autoimmunity and causes more inflammation in the body than usual. After taking TUDCA or turmeric, supplementing with high doses of vitamin D will suppress the TH-17. Articles recommend not to supplement with too high of a dosage but 1000-2000 IU 1-2/ week did not increase vitamin D but only after 4 months it did. When dealing with autoimmunity the body needs doses of even more than 40000 IU to be able to suppress TH-17 in the body. Do not be afraid, you can only have complications in the body if you take more than 200000 IU everyday for months. An omega 3 deficiency can cause dry scaly skin, so supplement those as well or eat fish every day.
      TUDCA 2. Vitamin D (40000 IU) 3. Omega 3
People have tried this and after 3 months 80% of their psoriasis faded away. It is the only natural remedy that actually works. Prevent using any other thing to treat this condition, it will only work temporarily and will not cure what’s wrong inside of the body.

I asked the doctor why the HELL was this not thought of? I just wished my parents told me not to eat too much sweets or trash foods when I was a child, but they probably didn't know any better. Sugar is the enemy my frens, avoid at all cost. I'm trying to eat the right food now but it's really hard to give up breads. Interestingly, I managed to "cure" my psoriasis albeit temporarily, two times, (I got plaques all over) when I am only able to eat once a day due to sickness (no appetite). After 11-14 days or so of only eating one meal a day, my plaques all over my body are dried when I woke up, and I can easily peel them off by rubbing my palms over them gently, the skin underneath was just like my pre-psoriasis days (like a baby!). So I'm a firm believer of fasting!
I cannot replicate what happened because I really love to eat. I have psoriasis since 2015 but it's only now that my skin condition is "stable" compared before, what helped me (I think) are these vitamins; D3 x1, K2 x1, Zinc x1, B-Complex x1, Fish Oil x2, Curcumin x2, Milk Thistle x2. Also, I avoid sugar and any processed foods as much as I can, don't cook with vegetable oil guys, use animal fat or healthy oils, I also got my root canal tooth removed and mercury amalgam fillings replaced to composite. And oh, I also do CDF P-r-o-t-o-c--o-l (remove -), this one is controversial so you have to decide for yourself. Recently, after reading and watching about red light therapy, I now include it to my daily routine. I'm optimistic for the days ahead.
Hopefully this info might help anyone reading. This disease sucks, it literally destroyed my life, and only now I'm starting to get up. Also, I want to add, clean/declutter your home/room/place, those clutters and mess can subconsciously trigger stress, and stress is sugar's best friend. That's all, I'm going to clean my room now. For better days ahead! Cheers!

But at least it doesn't spread further. It is like at a stale mate. I think it takes very long to go away. Also I suspect it is also caused by something on the skin. Im doing research to how to naturally remove it.

Hi Mel, I commented the following but I don't know if I will get a reply back from Dr Berg because I don't see any reply from him anywhere, so I'm asking you. If you know anything, it will help.
I wanted clarification. I have high cholesterol and triglycerides. I do take cholecalciferol 60000 iu granuales once a month.
      1) The D3 40000iu - Since only 10000iu gel tabs are available do i take 4 TOGETHER or 4 tablets of 10000 iu throughout the day?
      2) What is the maximum I can take per day?
      3) Can I buy cholecalciferol powder granules packets of 60000 iu each and divide it into 2/3?
      4) I have been taking fish oil 1200mg twice a day for a long time but don't see a change in psoriasis that I have (some inside the ear and cuts/tears in ear folds - peeling and powdery skin, and generally scaly skin on arms and legs). I will still continue it.
      5) The TUDCA bile salts ? What is the strength to be taken 3-4 times a day? You get several strengths in stores. These salts are very expensive. Is there an alternative for it?
      6) I'm confused but all these 3 remedies are to be taken together or we first try the d3 and if it doesn't work then we go to next and then next?
      7) For how long do I have to keep taking all of these and when can I stop? I am concerned it should not create a blockage in the arteries with such high doses per day (although I don't know much about it. I've just heard that calcium causes a problem in the long run).

Thank you Dr Berg for sharing this infomration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to leave my review of this combination of supplements. I have had psoriasis since I was 17; I am nearly 40 now. It was terrible; my legs were nearly completely covered in thick plaques, and my elbows and belly were off and on. I watched this video and thought, this feels like it's worth trying (Actually try it). I bought the supplements and followed the regimen. My psoriasis is nearly gone, and I haven't adjusted my diet. No other drugs I strictly stuck to this regimen; maybe a probiotic was added and some Vc. I don't usually write reviews or comments, but I have suffered all my adult life and want to say this worked.
So, I stopped all my other supplements except a few (to assess how these worked when added). I am taking TudCA, Vit D, and COD Oil (as described in this video). I also take liposomal Vit C, and a probiotic supplement, and exercise 4-5 days a week. Some time ago, I spent only a few months drinking pure water for my primary intake and had good results. Still, I have not modified my diet, fasting, and I need to drink more water, but this was my specific regimen of what I was taking and doing. Adding the trio Dr Berg describes made a huge difference. Over 90% of my psoriasis is gone. Now, I want to try modifying my diet, fasting, and drinking enough pure water in addition to this. It took about 1-2 months to see this type of transformation in psoriasis, but I was shocked. I spent 10's of thousands of dollars on prescription medications. This video had the most impact on everything I have tried. I often watch or read something that sounds good but don't actually try it. I am here to say invest in this for 3 months to ACTUALLY test it for yourself, but it works amazing for me.
As a Nurse I was skeptical about the high doses of Vit D, but I have had no issues thus far; maybe some mild constipation, but I can't confirm this is from the vitamin D vs. my diet, water intake, etc. If I start having symptoms, I will get my labs checked and see, but so far, no symptoms and no issues from the vitamin D

The only things that helped his skin were sunshine, saturated fat intake reduction, and his prescribed topical ointments. But of them all, going keto helped his skin more than anything. Yes, going keto/carnivore is hard to do well. It's important to eat organ meat. So sorry to hear about your husband. You might well be right about potassium or something else deficient. Most people don't realise how essential it was for our carnivorous ancestors to eat the organs and not just the meat and fat. Can't imagine how tortured you must feel about such a simple solution as a banana potentially saving him from his fate. My love and prayers to you.

@ashmash1934 and he was really more carnivore than keto. If you are going to go carnivore, you have to eat some raw meat to get those electrolytes. People who eat some raw organ meat, like liver, seem to do fine. But a lot of folks just won't.

I spent my whole life covering up my arms and legs. No normal life for me, hiding away the perceived ugliness. People thought they could catch it..! No amount of remedies worked. Now I'm older and post menopausal. As soon as my periods disappeared, so did the psoriasis, practically overnight, it was so fast. So my conclusion is that my psoriasis was caused by my hormones in some way. Otherwise, why did it disappear during pregnancy and when my periods stopped..?

Hi Archana, I commented the following but I don't know if I will get a reply back because I don't see any reply from him anywhere, so I'm asking you.

Dear Dr Berg, thank you so much for this video and all your other video. This particular video has hit home for me, my husband has psoriasis really bad for year and I never knew up until now that its connected to depression which he has too as well as low energy level, sleeping problems and many other conditions which I now believe is tied with this. He takes vitamin d but I will now introduce the salt as well as cod liver oil. I am so greatfull for your bite-size info that you post and which as short and to the point which has really changed my families way of looking at put health so thank you very much.

Listen up... My mom psoriasis was SEVERE for decades. Hundreds of dermo. appointments & tons of lotions, never worked. She fell ill for another reason & was given an IMMOGLOBIN SHOT & it COMPLETELY CURED her skin! It went from F to B plus! It lasted about 6 months then some small light patches started to come back but NOTHING like it was.... TRY THE SHOT... doctors dont think of it because its a side effect=clear skin....

I notice that certain foods are a psoriasis trigger for me, especially any kind of pork, fast foods, (KFC is the worst), and non-organic butter and dairy products.

Yep. Certain foods use to be a trigger for me too. Cheese was the worst culprit. Excessive sugar intake certainly didn't help either. Too many nightshades (tomatoes and white potatoes) could be problematic

I cured my chronic psoriasis. It is caused by leaky gut syndrome and a processed food diet. UVB Light finally got the stubborn elbow patches. Gone now for 18 years!!!!

That was very helpful. I have psoriasis (albeit mild) and I have a vitamin D deficiency, which my GP is now prescribing for me. Its makes sense, too, as my understanding is that Vitamin D is produced by sunlight on your skin. My dad had the same condition and I live in a northerly country.
    Thanks

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis 18 months ago. I started Keto 14 days ago. My inflammation in my joints are 80% better. I stated taking Vit D today. 2000iu in the morning and again at night and been taking magnesium and pro biotic since day 1. I am on methotrexate. I have been prescribed prednisone but I refuse to take it since I learned about the side effects. This week I will start with the marinda powder and then slowly reduce the methotrexate dose to see what happens 😊.

I’m 27, small patches piped up late 2019, (just had a break up after 6 years.) fast forward to now after doing some curious research. I’ve had symptoms since I was a kid with just no patches or hair issues. Shortly after the chicken pox. My nails would grow and grow. Joint issues have been a thing.
