    2:18 Remedy #1 - Vitamin D for psoriasis
3:28 Remedy #2 - Cod liver oil for psoriasis
3:51 Remedy #3 - Bile salts for psoriasis
In this video, we’re going to talk about the three best remedies for psoriasis. If you have psoriasis, then you don’t want to miss out on this video-I put a lot of research and energy into this topic to summarize it for you.
The word Psoriasis comes from two Greek words: psora (itchy) and iasis (action/condition).
Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition-this is where your body creates antibodies that attack your own healthy tissue. With psoriasis, certain areas of your skin are replaced every 3-5 days instead of 28-30 days. This accelerated production of skin cells is what causes the redness, scaliness, and flakiness with psoriasis.
What’s really happening behind the curtain is a T-cell dysfunction-in particular, the TH17 cell. T-cells are part of the acquired immune system. This means you aren’t born with it, but instead, you acquire it over time.
This dysfunction of TH17 cells is typically triggered by an altered microbiome.
When these cells dysfunction, they induce a massive amount of inflammation and autoimmunity. Additionally, they release cytokines, which can also be inflammatory. At the same time, T-reg cells are suppressed.
TH17 is directly linked to vitamin D. This is why the first remedy for psoriasis is vitamin D. Take a look:
    1. Vitamin D - Vitamin D helps regulate T-cells. Vitamin D acts as a hormone in the body. In particular, it acts like cortisol, which is one of the primary treatments for psoriasis. This is why psoriasis cases skyrocket in the winter-most people get less vitamin D.
    2. Cod liver oil - Cod liver oil not only contains vitamin D and vitamin A, but it also has omega-3 fatty acids. Low levels of omega-3s are known to cause dry, scaly, and red skin. Omega-3 is a powerful anti-inflammatory.
    3. Bile salts - Bile salts stimulate vitamin D receptors. This means that it allows vitamin D to work much better in the body.
It’s also a good idea to go on an intermittent fasting plan and avoid all gluten.
Give these tips a try and let me know how they work for you in the comments below.

Not one doctor has ever recommended diet change, they have all prescribed ointment and injections that do not work and have given me incredibly awful side effects. Ridding skin Psoriasis does not mean there isn't ongoing inflammation. You can have psoriatic arthritis without showing skin Psoriasis. Follow up is needed and testing for PsA. All these recommendations are great, but may not stop ongoing systemic inflammation that the skin doesn't reveal.

I really appreciated this video, thank you. I was covered in Psoriasis for over 30 years and battled tummy issues, psoriatic Arthritis, and extreme weight loss. My life was controlled by it...I easily spent over a million dollars on creams, ointments, treatments, supplements...you name it...I tried it. I even tried going Gluten Free which helped but not totally. I took a temp. job filling in for a Baker at a logging camp. Within the week, I was covered and raw and I mean raw. Turned out I'm allergic to wheat and got dermatitis from it...not Psoriasis. Ointments are different and often made me worst. I reacted to touching flour from baking bread. Now I'm 100% Wheat Free with everything from laundry soap to my makeup and my skin is so clear, subtle, soft, and beautiful for my age for 3 years straight. So happy! Once in a while, if I come into contact with traces of "Wheat" even from sheets in a hotel...I would know it within the hour. Yet, I can eat barley without breaking out in Dermatitis. I now encourage everyone I know with Psoriasis to try going wheat free. Worth a shot!

@@SM-yw5nm The only way to cure autoimmune disorders naturally proven by online testimonials (Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila Peterson, Dr Eric Berg, KenDBerryMD)
To cure autoimmune disorders you need to eliminate all inflammatory foods from your diet. That includes processed food, gluten (white bread, pasta, white rice, ...), night shades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, ...)
Most of these foods are carbs so you will either need to choose between a Keto diet or a carnivore diet to prevent inflammation coming from the food you eat.
While being on a Keto or carnivore diet you should combine it with intermittent fasting a 16:8 is recommended, intermittent fasting reduces inflammation in the body, boosts HGH, detoxes and nourishes the body, low insulin levels and you will have it easier to prevent yourself from eating the carbs that cause inflammation in the body.
When your fast is completed you should consume bile salts (TUDCA) or turmeric to modulate the TH-17 in the body (3-4x) . People with autoimmune disorders have a T-Cell dysfunction that causes the autoimmunity and causes more inflammation in the body than usual. After taking TUDCA or turmeric, supplementing with high doses of vitamin D will suppress the TH-17. Articles recommend not to supplement with too high of a dosage but 1000-2000 IU 1-2/ week did not increase vitamin D but only after 4 months it did. When dealing with autoimmunity the body needs doses of even more than 40000 IU to be able to suppress TH-17 in the body. Do not be afraid, you can only have complications in the body if you take more than 200000 IU everyday for months. An omega 3 deficiency can cause dry scaly skin, so supplement those as well or eat fish every day.
      TUDCA 2. Vitamin D (40000 IU) 3. Omega 3
People have tried this and after 3 months 80% of their psoriasis faded away. It is the only natural remedy that actually works. Prevent using any other thing to treat this condition, it will only work temporarily and will not cure what’s wrong inside of the body.

@@chefjpc stopped eating gluten and started seeing results within a month. It didn't go away completely because I was inconsistent as well, took me time to adjust to no pasta, bread, CAKE, milk, ice cream, cereal, etc.... But when I would eat a trigger food, boy did I get a nasty flare up on my hands. I actually had eczema on my pinky only to begin with. Then it spread to the rest of my hand and eventually the other hand. It took me about 2 years to figure out it was food allergies. In the meantime I was dealing with it using creams and stuff like that. And it helped but it didn't solve my problem.

I only have psoriasis on my scalp. Cutting gluten and dairy was the first step that majorly helped improve my plaques. Especially dairy. I also know that conventional coffee (organic is fine), sugar, alcohol, and food dyes make it worse too. I’ll put up with a little psoriasis because I like a little sugar occasionally and having a drink, but I really try to cut back when it’s getting aggravated.

Hi. I was diagnosed with eczema as a child, but my dermatologist argues that it may have been psoriasis all along. That’s plausible in milder cases. Maybe it only recently got bad enough for you to develop the trademark plaques. I still don’t get them but do clearly have mild psoriasis.

It was so bad, I was cleaning and vaccuming the house three to four times a day in her hang out areas esp. before any cooking in the kitchen. Well, she fell iff for another reason & was given an IMMOGLOUBIN SHOT & her skin COMPLETELY CLEARED. It lasted well over 6 months. She started to get some minor patches back but nothing like it was. I asked the doctor why the HELL was this not thought of? Well its only a side effect from the shot & not a main LISTED reason for it... it makes sence though because psoriasis is an autoimmune condition & the shot helps the immune system...

Hi Archana, I commented the following but I don't know if I will get a reply back because I don't see any reply from him anywhere, so I'm asking you. If you know anything, it will help.
I wanted clarification. I have high cholesterol and triglycerides. I do take cholecalciferol 60000 iu granuales once a month.
      1) The D3 40000iu - Since only 10000iu gel tabs are available do i take 4 TOGETHER or 4 tablets of 10000 iu throughout the day?
      2) What is the maximum I can take per day?
      3) Can I buy cholecalciferol powder granules packets of 60000 iu each and divide it into 2/3?
      4) I have been taking fish oil 1200mg twice a day for a long time but don't see a change in psoriasis that I have (some inside the ear and cuts/tears in ear folds - peeling and powdery skin, and generally scaly skin on arms and legs). I will still continue it.
      5) The TUDCA bile salts ? What is the strength to be taken 3-4 times a day? You get several strengths in stores. These salts are very expensive. Is there an alternative for it?
      6) I'm confused but all these 3 remedies are to be taken together or we first try the d3 and if it doesn't work then we go to next and then next?
      7) For how long do I have to keep taking all of these and when can I stop? I am concerned it should not create a blockage in the arteries with such high doses per day (although I don't know much about it. I've just heard that calcium causes a problem in the long run).

For the last few months, 90% of the elbows patches have disappeared. For the life of me I could not figure out why it has healed since I've done nothing to it and nothing differently. After watching your video, I figured out why! I started taking vitamin D3 gummies. Since the gummies are delicious, I eat them like candy. Listen I don’t know why this works but it absolutely does. An exfriend had severe plaque psoriasis that covered half his left arm. He moved down to Perdido Beach FL with me for a year and lived across the street from the beach. We swam almost every day in the ocean about an hour a day. After 3 months the only sign of psoriasis he had was a dime size spot on his elbow.

I’m 27, small patches piped up late 2019, (just had a break up after 6 years.) fast forward to now after doing some curious research. I’ve had symptoms since I was a kid with just no patches or hair issues. Shortly after the chicken pox. My nails would grow and grow. Joint issues have been a thing.

I have arthritic psoriasis since first year college:
They trigger when I’m under stress.
Avoid STRESS and I make sure to have sea water swim once a week to control.
As of writing I don’t have any flares - no harm also to follow Dr. Berg’s advise- will oblige!
    Thank you Dr. Berg

try an IMMOGLOBIN SHOT. Cured my mom of SEVERE psoriasis & lasted about 6 months. some SLIGHT patches started to come back but nothing close to the way it was. Doctors dont think about using the immoglobin shot for skin conditions but it works!

Dear Dr Berg, thank you so much for this video and all your other video. This particular video has hit home for me, my husband has psoriasis really bad for year and I never knew up until now that its connected to depression which he has too as well as low energy level, sleeping problems and many other conditions which I now believe is tied with this. He takes vitamin d but I will now introduce the salt as well as cod liver oil. I am so greatfull for your bite-size info that you post and which as short and to the point which has really changed my families way of looking at put health so thank you very much.

Listen up... My mom psoriasis was SEVERE for decades. Hundreds of dermo. appointments & tons of lotions, never worked. She fell ill for another reason & was given an IMMOGLOBIN SHOT & it COMPLETELY CURED her skin! It went from F to B plus! It lasted about 6 months then some small light patches started to come back but NOTHING like it was.... TRY THE SHOT... doctors dont think of it because its a side effect=clear skin....

Dr Berg I followed your directions on not only doing healthy ketogenic diet, 40,000 unit D3+k2, 2 tudca upon waking, cod liver oil. After 11 mos lost 52 lbs, trimmed waistline 5 “, finally saw some improvement on my psoriasis. I still have a faint of dryness, but no longer red and itchy inflamed! As you said it would take 2-3 yrs to heal. At 70 now after decades of suffering with it I see a great improvement….step by step!

I’ve always had minor skin issues since birth, but the psoriasis took over in college. Stress while I was at school I think contributed to me getting it. It’s been years since I first noticed it, and I’ve been done with school for a long time but the psoriasis is spreading to different areas lately. I’m going to try these methods and hopefully they work!
