I've had moderate to severe psoriasis for over twenty years. Not one doctor has ever recommended diet change, they have all prescribed ointment and injections that do not work and have given me incredibly awful side effects. In walks Dr. "Amazing" Eric Berg with his research and advice, I follow and cut gluten, and BOOM! Two weeks later I'm almost clear. I am ASTOUNDED! I can't thank this man enough for his dedication to educating us.
Same story here. 30 years of suffering and now I cut gluten and take D3 and I'm almost clear (discovered elsewhere). After seeing this video I will be adding his other recommendations and upping my D3 to see if I can get 100% clear of it.
I agree 100% with everything in this video. I have Psoriasis, I had already discovered simply by just by taking 2 fish oil capsules a day, and Vitamin D, reducing diary products and sugar I had a major improvement in my Psoriasis. For me, It is highly manageable without using prescription drugs.
Ridding skin Psoriasis does not mean there isn't ongoing inflammation. You can have psoriatic arthritis without showing skin Psoriasis. Follow up is needed and testing for PsA. All these recommendations are great, but may not stop ongoing systemic inflammation that the skin doesn't reveal.
@@jeffb.140 I disagree with your sentiment that as an auto-immune 'condition', (which nearly every modern type of ill- health condition is attributed to), cannot be dealt with effectively. Finding out the trigger in any auto-immune condition & dealing with the underlying cause and not the symptoms only - is the answer. I've had virtually every auto-immune condition- including severe arthritis & psoriasis for many years. And believe it or not, I took no prescribed medications at all for years - as I honestly do not subscribe to that method - having seen my late mother popping various pills in their dozens prescribed by qualified physicians which did absolutely zero for her, instead sped up her demise. Today, I am free - for 5 years + (& have been so), from any of the auto-immune ailments which plagued me. LOL, the answer was found in an inexpensive everyday kitchen product - bicarb and elimination of stress, drinking water, walking 1/2 hour/daily, bowel cleansing. My diet was slightly adjusted with no elimination but reduced sugars & red meat. Hey presto! *NB*. In the case of arthritis, I even googled to view a video on what hand physio therapy I could do myself to deal with & repair the arthritic damage to my hands (seemingly bone distortions and painful swelling in my finger joints and wrist). I did all the above simultaneously, the self physio was very painful but did the job (once again - no prescribed medication or pain killers). Not forgetting (not everyone's cuppa tea) - daily prayers to the Ultimate Physician Christ Jesus. 😉
After 40 years of scratching myself to pieces mainly at night. Living on cortisone creams for 40 years. I came across your channel and decided I had nothing to lose by trying some of your suggestions.I started VitD 50 000 IU’s once a week along with a daily K2 and an omega 3. I realized only after several months that I was no longer scratching. Everyone who knows me is amazed as my elbow was a very visible area which was Always inflamed, bleeding and scabs. Now a faint white patch. I cannot believe that adding these vitamins to my body was all it took to change my life. Thank you for all your research and advice. I must add… I do believe that gluten is something that does not do well for me either.
Congrats to you @ow5517. I am inflicted with this "imbalance" that is causing me to have psoriasis and it is definitely scratchy in the evenings. Did you also reduce or really limit your sugar intake? Thanks for any reply.
Yes. Unfortunately, I have noticed that eating a lot of sweet stuff makes it worse. But even though , I do have days of eating a bit too many sweets, I still have not gone back to how I was. 🙏🏻
@@AbsoluteUNIT000 yes. I tried to do the natural way but decided the synthetic was better than nothing. Now I know, without a doubt and contrary to what the drs say about vitamins being a waste, they DO WORK.
Dr Berg I followed your directions on not only doing healthy ketogenic diet, 40,000 unit D3+k2, 2 tudca upon waking, cod liver oil. After 11 mos lost 52 lbs, trimmed waistline 5 “, finally saw some improvement on my psoriasis. I still have a faint of dryness, but no longer red and itchy inflamed! As you said it would take 2-3 yrs to heal. At 70 now after decades of suffering with it I see a great improvement….step by step!
I looked up D3 and what I have found so far are 1000iu capsules. 40000iu would be 40 capsules a day. That can't be right, is it? I would appreciate any advice.
Over 2 years old video and still people/patients commenting. This shows the power of quality genuine research that goes behind a single post. Way to go Doctor!!
It’s all jargon. Many new pills and natural remedies. Clobetesaol. Propointment is the only thing that works and will absolutely clear it up to next to nothing

Use Salveation by Mama Nature if you suffer from psoriasis. It contains patchouli oil that reduces the over production of cells which is a major cause of psoriasis and beeswax and other botanicals that help soften and heal the cracked and flaking skin. Don't take our word for it - read on-line reviews. It has already helped countless psoriasis sufferers and is well worth trying. And if it doesn't work Mama Nature will give you a full refund.
I really appreciated this video, thank you. I was covered in Psoriasis for over 30 years and battled tummy issues, psoriatic Arthritis, and extreme weight loss. My life was controlled by it...I easily spent over a million dollars on creams, ointments, treatments, supplements...you name it...I tried it. I even tried going Gluten Free which helped but not totally. I took a temp. job filling in for a Baker at a logging camp. Within the week, I was covered and raw and I mean raw. Turned out I'm allergic to wheat and got dermatitis from it...not Psoriasis. Ointments are different and often made me worst. I reacted to touching flour from baking bread. Now I'm 100% Wheat Free with everything from laundry soap to my makeup and my skin is so clear, subtle, soft, and beautiful for my age for 3 years straight. So happy! Once in a while, if I come into contact with traces of "Wheat" even from sheets in a hotel...I would know it within the hour. Yet, I can eat barley without breaking out in Dermatitis. I now encourage everyone I know with Psoriasis to try going wheat free. Worth a shot!
I live in Nigeria Africa and I want to say this is the first I am having a thorough explanation of what I have gone through all my life. Including the the stressors which I have experienced. Thanks so much really helpful
my CBC report had shown deficiency in B12, D3. I started supplements B12 , D3 and COD Liver Oil Capsules. I have lighter note of scalp psoriasis. My BMI is 20.6, quite on the normal side, don't drink/smoke. I follow intermittent fasting. However the condition and itchiness didn't improve much. After starting the supplements the itchiness and flakes reduced in 3-4 days itself, I was shocked, I consulted two doctors before both prescribed some ointment which if you stop psoriasis is back immediately also very bad skin thinning steroid cannot be used for more than 7 days. None of the doctor prescribed any dietary change or vitamins, neither asked to get CBC tested. I had literally asked them if any life style changes can cure this, they said- "nothing like that, autoimmune diseases do not have a reason, it can happen to anyone." Thank you so much Dr. Eric for the right direction and I can clearly see a difference. More such videos with advanced information on the cure would be really helpful.
I had good results when I started taking vitamin D and fish oil. But, when I started eating mostly salad, meat and veggies, the symptoms almost completely subsided! I never tried bile salts. I will have to try that next. Thank you for making your videos. I wish more doctors would explain things the way you do. They seem to only treat the symptoms rather than explain the actual causes.
@@SM-yw5nm The only way to cure autoimmune disorders naturally proven by online testimonials (Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila Peterson, Dr Eric Berg, KenDBerryMD) To cure autoimmune disorders you need to eliminate all inflammatory foods from your diet. That includes processed food, gluten (white bread, pasta, white rice, ...), night shades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, ...) Most of these foods are carbs so you will either need to choose between a Keto diet or a carnivore diet to prevent inflammation coming from the food you eat. While being on a Keto or carnivore diet you should combine it with intermittent fasting a 16:8 is recommended, intermittent fasting reduces inflammation in the body, boosts HGH, detoxes and nourishes the body, low insulin levels and you will have it easier to prevent yourself from eating the carbs that cause inflammation in the body. When your fast is completed you should consume bile salts (TUDCA) or turmeric to modulate the TH-17 in the body (3-4x) . People with autoimmune disorders have a T-Cell dysfunction that causes the autoimmunity and causes more inflammation in the body than usual. After taking TUDCA or turmeric, supplementing with high doses of vitamin D will suppress the TH-17. Articles recommend not to supplement with too high of a dosage but 1000-2000 IU 1-2/ week did not increase vitamin D but only after 4 months it did. When dealing with autoimmunity the body needs doses of even more than 40000 IU to be able to suppress TH-17 in the body. Do not be afraid, you can only have complications in the body if you take more than 200000 IU everyday for months. An omega 3 deficiency can cause dry scaly skin, so supplement those as well or eat fish every day. TUDCA 2. Vitamin D (40000 IU) 3. Omega 3 People have tried this and after 3 months 80% of their psoriasis faded away. It is the only natural remedy that actually works. Prevent using any other thing to treat this condition, it will only work temporarily and will not cure what’s wrong inside of the body.
I only have psoriasis on my scalp. Cutting gluten and dairy was the first step that majorly helped improve my plaques. Especially dairy. I also know that conventional coffee (organic is fine), sugar, alcohol, and food dyes make it worse too. I’ll put up with a little psoriasis because I like a little sugar occasionally and having a drink, but I really try to cut back when it’s getting aggravated. Also I will say I was getting vitamin B6 shots for energy and wow! My scalp cleared up soooo well for a while.
Hi @melaniehancock2210 Could you please tell me the name of the Vitamin B6 shots you are taking? I have been suffering from scalp psoriasis for the past 12 years.

Dr. Berg, I have patches of psoriasis on my elbows and have had them for +20 years. I usually use heavy moisturizer or ultravate if it gets really bad. For the last few months, 90% of the elbows patches have disappeared. For the life of me I could not figure out why it has healed since I've done nothing to it and nothing differently. After watching your video, I figured out why! I started taking vitamin D3 gummies. Since the gummies are delicious, I eat them like candy. My last CBC shows my D level within range whereas for years my D level was always low. This is eye opener for me as I never really believed in the effects of supplements!! Thank you for informative info. Live your channel!!

This was fascinating, my child has psoriasis and the doctors only want to give creams and shampoos. Not a single time have they ever mentioned a single detail of what is mentioned in this video.
This is exactly what I observed in every single GP I was dealing with. 'Here's this steroid cream. Try that.' Oh it still didn't go away completely? I'll give you a different brand of steroid cream... Those GPs are schooled by pharmaceutical mafia. They have not even the slightest desire to cure a patient, but on the contrary. By curing patient, they loose a customer. By masking symptoms, they got customer for life with chronic diseases.
My scalp used to be covered with psoriasis, and it started to show up on my knees and elbows. I've only had to deal with one small persistent patch on the nape of my neck since I eliminated gluten and dairy about 15 years ago.
@@chefjpc stopped eating gluten and started seeing results within a month. It didn't go away completely because I was inconsistent as well, took me time to adjust to no pasta, bread, CAKE, milk, ice cream, cereal, etc.... But when I would eat a trigger food, boy did I get a nasty flare up on my hands. I actually had eczema on my pinky only to begin with. Then it spread to the rest of my hand and eventually the other hand. It took me about 2 years to figure out it was food allergies. In the meantime I was dealing with it using creams and stuff like that. And it helped but it didn't solve my problem.
@@Drberg Can one really take 40,000 UI of D3 every day long term with no side effects? That seems a very high dose. I take 8,000UI and cut out gluten and i'm much better. Will try upping dosage and add cod liver oil and the bile salts. 40,000 UI every day long term scares me a bit though :/
I have arthritic psoriasis since first year college: They trigger when I’m under stress. Avoid STRESS and I make sure to have sea water swim once a week to control. As of writing I don’t have any flares - no harm also to follow Dr. Berg’s advise- will oblige! Thank you Dr. Berg
try an IMMOGLOBIN SHOT. Cured my mom of SEVERE psoriasis & lasted about 6 months. some SLIGHT patches started to come back but nothing close to the way it was. Doctors dont think about using the immoglobin shot for skin conditions but it works!
My dad was told to loose weight by the doctor , part of his weight loss diet was his personal choice to eat lots of oranges each day, he averaged six or seven each day ( he found the strong taste helped to suppress his craving for other food) Within a month his psoriasis had cleared up. He didn't cut out any particular food , he just ate much smaller portions of what he normally ate.

I want people to know that this works, maybe not for everyone but worked for me, my condition is so severe but it responds poorly to typical treatments, after taking vD and the other supplements it surely made a dramatic change! So than you Doctor for this priceless advice! ❤❤

I had psoriasis at 12 ,diagnosed with psoriatic-arthritis at 26. Used a walker for 2 years because I could hardly walk without falling. AT 29 a Dermatologist prescribed me Cosentyx 300mg dose. I was covered with psoriasis on all limbs and face. Could not lift my arms past chest level. Couldn't walk to the bathroom without a cane or walker. Within 4 weeks, scales from my patches were gone.5 months I could walk without using a cane,in a year walking without pain.
I think my psoriasis just started because I have eczema and never had this small plaque-like in the thumbnail until last month when I found out my leg and hand were like that. So I am watching this video and I want to thank you for doing research and giving a clear explanation. I love your videos and when these videos teach me, I feel grateful to your channel.
Hi. I was diagnosed with eczema as a child, but my dermatologist argues that it may have been psoriasis all along. That’s plausible in milder cases. Maybe it only recently got bad enough for you to develop the trademark plaques. I still don’t get them but do clearly have mild psoriasis.
Hello.. My mom had SEVERE psoriasis. Years & years of doctors & smelly greasy lotions never worked. I even changed her diet several times trying to help her. It was so bad, I was cleaning and vaccuming the house three to four times a day in her hang out areas esp. before any cooking in the kitchen. Well, she fell iff for another reason & was given an IMMOGLOUBIN SHOT & her skin COMPLETELY CLEARED. It lasted well over 6 months. She started to get some minor patches back but nothing like it was. I asked the doctor why the HELL was this not thought of? Well its only a side effect from the shot & not a main LISTED reason for it... it makes sence though because psoriasis is an autoimmune condition & the shot helps the immune system...

@@isaacmendez3902 I just remember it was an immoglobin shot that was given for Gullian Bar syndrome. But she didnt have that. They really didnt know. I was upset because it should have been done years and years ago. All the other scripts did nothing. Good luck!
I just wished my parents told me not to eat too much sweets or trash foods when I was a child, but they probably didn't know any better. Sugar is the enemy my frens, avoid at all cost. I'm trying to eat the right food now but it's really hard to give up breads. Interestingly, I managed to "cure" my psoriasis albeit temporarily, two times, (I got plaques all over) when I am only able to eat once a day due to sickness (no appetite). After 11-14 days or so of only eating one meal a day, my plaques all over my body are dried when I woke up, and I can easily peel them off by rubbing my palms over them gently, the skin underneath was just like my pre-psoriasis days (like a baby!). So I'm a firm believer of fasting! I cannot replicate what happened because I really love to eat. I have psoriasis since 2015 but it's only now that my skin condition is "stable" compared before, what helped me (I think) are these vitamins; D3 x1, K2 x1, Zinc x1, B-Complex x1, Fish Oil x2, Curcumin x2, Milk Thistle x2. Also, I avoid sugar and any processed foods as much as I can, don't cook with vegetable oil guys, use animal fat or healthy oils, I also got my root canal tooth removed and mercury amalgam fillings replaced to composite. And oh, I also do CDF P-r-o-t-o-c--o-l (remove -), this one is controversial so you have to decide for yourself. Recently, after reading and watching about red light therapy, I now include it to my daily routine. I'm optimistic for the days ahead. Hopefully this info might help anyone reading. This disease sucks, it literally destroyed my life, and only now I'm starting to get up. Also, I want to add, clean/declutter your home/room/place, those clutters and mess can subconsciously trigger stress, and stress is sugar's best friend. That's all, I'm going to clean my room now. For better days ahead! Cheers!
I had an idea that it was fungal, because fungicides always inflamed my psoriasis. So I treated it with Nizoral hair shampoo (diluted). It inflames, then subsides, and then reduces. I still have occasional psoriasis, but it is now manageable, and people do not notice it. P
I pray the Lord blesses you greatly. You don’t have to do this for people. People you are likely to never meet. May your graciousness be returned to you and your family. And most of all may you be found in Christ on that Day. Shalom
All February I struggled with a massive psoriasis outbreak on my face. I started taking tudca on Monday, my face was about 90% better and now on Saturday, my skin is 99% better. I also started moisturizering with a beeswax balm and I only have to use my topical (a nonsteroidal chinese cream) 1x a day. I take vitamin D, collagen, and glutamine already to help with leaky gut but this week's improvement in skin texture and healing was dramatic! And I have a feeling it's due to the tudca and beeswax (I started them on the same day so can't be sure what exactly is working the best).
I've had psoriasis for 20 years and by far the best treatment is sunlight. I live in the northern hemisphere where the weather is bad 90% of the time, so instead I do a tanning bed once a week. By far the easiest way to treat it for me.
tanning beds mostly use a different band of light (uva) from psoriasis phototherapy lamps (uvb) and aren't recommend to treat psoriasis... only use a sunbed to treat psoriasis if it has tubes fitted that emit both uva and uvb light bands
I will try this. I have wondered why my Psoriasis hasn't cleared as I'm doing keto with fasting. I'm not eating gluten, and I'm following Dr Bergs advice as best I can. I'll try the bike salts and raising vit D. So far I've lost 45 kgs in about 5 months, and I just want to get healthy as possible, thank you Dr Berg for your advice and wonderful explanations!
Im in your position. Where once I get the Psoriasis from an unhealthy diet there are some spots on my skin where it doesn't go away or takes very long to go away. But at least it doesn't spread further. It is like at a stale mate. I think it takes very long to go away. Also I suspect it is also caused by something on the skin. Im doing research to how to naturally remove it. I recently had nearly all my psoriasis clear but I ate an unhealthy diet again. Of hot chips, biscuits, chocolate, take away, burgers, etc. I ate too much junkfood Im not sure which food triggered it again. but I know diet is a factor.
Add 1 cup of bone broth on an empty stomach to your bedtime routine. You most likely have a leaky gut. The bone broth is the best way to heal a damaged gut. Along with taking the supplements. If you want faster results, drink it throughout the day too. Thats how i healed my psoriasis, in about 6-8 months my skin was 85% cleared!

Hi Dr. Berg. I have been using this remedy for almost 3 months now and my psorasis has healed by about 80% which is amazing. I am so glad that I watched this video. Can you please advise what I would take for maintenance in order to keep my gut healthy. I have also been taking the L-Glutamine as advised by you in another one of your videos on psorasis. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Mel, I commented the following but I don't know if I will get a reply back from Dr Berg because I don't see any reply from him anywhere, so I'm asking you. If you know anything, it will help. I wanted clarification. I have high cholesterol and triglycerides. I do take cholecalciferol 60000 iu granuales once a month. 1) The D3 40000iu - Since only 10000iu gel tabs are available do i take 4 TOGETHER or 4 tablets of 10000 iu throughout the day? 2) What is the maximum I can take per day? 3) Can I buy cholecalciferol powder granules packets of 60000 iu each and divide it into 2/3? 4) I have been taking fish oil 1200mg twice a day for a long time but don't see a change in psoriasis that I have (some inside the ear and cuts/tears in ear folds - peeling and powdery skin, and generally scaly skin on arms and legs). I will still continue it. 5) The TUDCA bile salts ? What is the strength to be taken 3-4 times a day? You get several strengths in stores. These salts are very expensive. Is there an alternative for it? 6) I'm confused but all these 3 remedies are to be taken together or we first try the d3 and if it doesn't work then we go to next and then next? 7) For how long do I have to keep taking all of these and when can I stop? I am concerned it should not create a blockage in the arteries with such high doses per day (although I don't know much about it. I've just heard that calcium causes a problem in the long run).

Thank you Dr Berg for sharing this infomration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to leave my review of this combination of supplements. I have had psoriasis since I was 17; I am nearly 40 now. It was terrible; my legs were nearly completely covered in thick plaques, and my elbows and belly were off and on. I watched this video and thought, this feels like it's worth trying (Actually try it). I bought the supplements and followed the regimen. My psoriasis is nearly gone, and I haven't adjusted my diet. No other drugs I strictly stuck to this regimen; maybe a probiotic was added and some Vc. I don't usually write reviews or comments, but I have suffered all my adult life and want to say this worked. So, I stopped all my other supplements except a few (to assess how these worked when added). I am taking TudCA, Vit D, and COD Oil (as described in this video). I also take liposomal Vit C, and a probiotic supplement, and exercise 4-5 days a week. Some time ago, I spent only a few months drinking pure water for my primary intake and had good results. Still, I have not modified my diet, fasting, and I need to drink more water, but this was my specific regimen of what I was taking and doing. Adding the trio Dr Berg describes made a huge difference. Over 90% of my psoriasis is gone. Now, I want to try modifying my diet, fasting, and drinking enough pure water in addition to this. It took about 1-2 months to see this type of transformation in psoriasis, but I was shocked. I spent 10's of thousands of dollars on prescription medications. This video had the most impact on everything I have tried. I often watch or read something that sounds good but don't actually try it. I am here to say invest in this for 3 months to ACTUALLY test it for yourself, but it works amazing for me. As a Nurse I was skeptical about the high doses of Vit D, but I have had no issues thus far; maybe some mild constipation, but I can't confirm this is from the vitamin D vs. my diet, water intake, etc. If I start having symptoms, I will get my labs checked and see, but so far, no symptoms and no issues from the vitamin D >>Big PLus, I am off all prescription medications and steroids I was taking for psoriasis :). Cant thank you enough for sharing this information and greatful I came across this video
Salma. I have found that when your peace is broken by anger, specifically towards parents, then that brings on skin disease. I had this happen to me, and it lasted for about a month. Terrible skin rash, raised red bumps all over the body and legs. I tried this for 2 months and my psoriasis cleared up completely! My psoriasis used to cover 75% of my body. Thank you again and again and again Dr. Berg! 😊👍🏼🙏🏼
My husband suffered with psoriasis for years. He also developed arthritis at a young age. The only things that helped his skin were sunshine, saturated fat intake reduction, and his prescribed topical ointments. But of them all, going keto helped his skin more than anything. But then he had a heart attack a year after being on the keto diet. I personally believe he was not getting enough potassium.
High doses of vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia, which can increase the risk of fatal heart problems with digoxin. Health problems that can occur as a result of taking too much vitamin D over a long period of time include: Dehydration. Hypercalcemia. Kidney damage.
Yes, going keto/carnivore is hard to do well. It's important to eat organ meat. So sorry to hear about your husband. You might well be right about potassium or something else deficient. Most people don't realise how essential it was for our carnivorous ancestors to eat the organs and not just the meat and fat. Can't imagine how tortured you must feel about such a simple solution as a banana potentially saving him from his fate. My love and prayers to you.
@ashmash1934 and he was really more carnivore than keto. If you are going to go carnivore, you have to eat some raw meat to get those electrolytes. People who eat some raw organ meat, like liver, seem to do fine. But a lot of folks just won't.
Dear Dr Berg excellent presentation about relationship between TH17 T cells and Vitamin D. Lookforward to listen to your more educational videos. GOD bless you.
im so glad you shared this information DrBerg , 5 months ago i was (and still am to a degree) obese with failing health . one of my issues was terrible Psoriasis on my elbows and shins over that 5 months i have been supplementing with fish oil and vit D (also dieting with exercise ) and my Psoriasis has cleared up dramatically, its no longer embarrassing to wear shorts , thank you . !
I have got psoriasis on my left elbow . Dr gave different crams and none of them did work . I used to have take fish oil pill then I stopped. But I am starting again to take it .I believe that’s why my elbow doesn’t itch any more. I did not know fish oil pills help with psoriasis.
Wow, I'm so glad I came across your videos. I don't have psoriasis, but I do have an autoimmune skin/muscle disorder called dermatomyositis. My scalp is extremely itchy and scaly. I am wondering if this information would help me as well.
That was so helpful, thank you. I have already found out: when I am close to the equator and the ocean, my asthma and psoriasis are both gone. if I come home, both comes back. Gluten is a killer, that is true. But sadly, a diet with vegetables, salad and fruit only is very expensive.
I got rid of some of some my psioriasis by eating a bland diet. Issue is I didn't keep it up long enough, so not all of it healed up. Will try anything at this stage. Thanks for the advice Doc...
I suffered with psoriasis since I was a teenager..Not clear why I suddenly got it, but what I did notice was that it disappeared twice when I was pregnant..Then returned. I spent my whole life covering up my arms and legs. No normal life for me, hiding away the perceived ugliness. People thought they could catch it..! No amount of remedies worked. Now I'm older and post menopausal. As soon as my periods disappeared, so did the psoriasis, practically overnight, it was so fast. So my conclusion is that my psoriasis was caused by my hormones in some way. Otherwise, why did it disappear during pregnancy and when my periods stopped..?
Almost All autoimmune diseases are improved during pregnancy because in pregnancy our bodies’ immune system lowers down to keep carrying the baby inside. Or else the baby (perceived as a foreign body) would be killed by our own immune system
I started eating Cod liver out of the can based on your recommendation. I would say within A-day or 2 my skin was glowing. My esthetician who sees me twice a month was blown away at how amazing my skin looked that she went online and ordered a sleeve of Cod liver for herself lol thank you doctor Berg!

Hi Archana, I commented the following but I don't know if I will get a reply back because I don't see any reply from him anywhere, so I'm asking you. Reply
I’ve always had minor skin issues since birth, but the psoriasis took over in college. Stress while I was at school I think contributed to me getting it. It’s been years since I first noticed it, and I’ve been done with school for a long time but the psoriasis is spreading to different areas lately. I’m going to try these methods and hopefully they work!
Yes, I'm interested too. From my experience, reducing sugar intake and increasing the good omega 3 fats i managed to control the redness, itchiness on my scalp. Still have a bit of dandruff but nothing extreme. I still eat honey and other natural sweet foods, but i also started taking bile salts along with them. Usually i take a pill before every meal/snack i eat and it makes wonders.
FWIW, I switched from conventional shampoo with SLS (sodium laurel sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate) to castile soap (Dr. Bronner's is one brand) as my shampoo and that has pretty much eliminated my dandruff.
Dr. Berg did a great video a few months ago on L Glutamine. Take that every morning along with a keto IF diet and it will make your SD go into remission.
I have had psoriasis for over 30 years. The last 5 years I’ve had scalp psoriasis consistently. I managed it with home remedies and diet. I started using the three items you recommended and it cleared my scalp psoriasis 🙌🏽 Thank you so much!! Question, can I take these supplements long term?
The Cod Liver Oil and VIt D are great long term supplements that benefit your health and immune system in numerous ways. A daily dose of 10,000-20,000 IU Vit. D is more appropriate for long term supplementation however.
Hi, I see you got better with supplements that Dr. Berg recommended, did you take the Tudca? I just ordered it and I’m not sure how much to take. Should I take before meals after meals empty stomach? Thank you so much.
Yeah, just by cutting gluten I got rid of 97% of my psoriasis. So, I really recommend everyone to try that one out, but remember to try out at least 2 weeks without absolutely no gluten at all. I started getting results in 3-4 weeks, so you need patience.

Dear Dr Berg, thank you so much for this video and all your other video. This particular video has hit home for me, my husband has psoriasis really bad for year and I never knew up until now that its connected to depression which he has too as well as low energy level, sleeping problems and many other conditions which I now believe is tied with this. He takes vitamin d but I will now introduce the salt as well as cod liver oil. I am so greatfull for your bite-size info that you post and which as short and to the point which has really changed my families way of looking at put health so thank you very much.

It lasted about 6 months then some small light patches started to come back but NOTHING like it was.... TRY THE SHOT... doctors dont think of it because its a side effect=clear skin....

I notice that certain foods are a psoriasis trigger for me, especially any kind of pork, fast foods, (KFC is the worst), and non-organic butter and dairy products.
Yep. Certain foods use to be a trigger for me too. Cheese was the worst culprit. Excessive sugar intake certainly didn't help either. Too many nightshades (tomatoes and white potatoes) could be problematic
I cured my chronic psoriasis. It is caused by leaky gut syndrome and a processed food diet. UVB Light finally got the stubborn elbow patches. Gone now for 18 years!!!!
That was very helpful. I have psoriasis (albeit mild) and I have a vitamin D deficiency, which my GP is now prescribing for me. Its makes sense, too, as my understanding is that Vitamin D is produced by sunlight on your skin. My dad had the same condition and I live in a northerly country. Thanks
I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis 18 months ago. I started Keto 14 days ago. My inflammation in my joints are 80% better. I stated taking Vit D today. 2000iu in the morning and again at night and been taking magnesium and pro biotic since day 1. I am on methotrexate. I have been prescribed prednisone but I refuse to take it since I learned about the side effects. This week I will start with the marinda powder and then slowly reduce the methotrexate dose to see what happens 😊.
I’m 27, small patches piped up late 2019, (just had a break up after 6 years.) fast forward to now after doing some curious research. I’ve had symptoms since I was a kid with just no patches or hair issues. Shortly after the chicken pox. My nails would grow and grow. Joint issues have been a thing.
How long is did it take
@Jami Ross It will never go away because its an autoimmune disorder

@@SM-yw5nm The only way to cure autoimmune disorders naturally proven by online testimonials (Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Mikhaila Peterson, Dr Eric Berg, KenDBerryMD)
To cure autoimmune disorders you need to eliminate all inflammatory foods from your diet. That includes processed food, gluten (white bread, pasta, white rice, ...), night shades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, ...)
Most of these foods are carbs so you will either need to choose between a Keto diet or a carnivore diet to prevent inflammation coming from the food you eat.
Omega 3
People have tried this and after 3 months 80% of their psoriasis faded away. It is the only natural remedy that actually works. Prevent using any other thing to treat this condition, it will only work temporarily and will not cure what’s wrong inside of the body.

In the meantime I was dealing with it using creams and stuff like that. And it helped but it didn't solve my problem.

Fully agree here! On top of that, little and poor sleep and there it is.

@@Somee989 Hi do you have a specific brand or type? There's so many types of shot related to the search. Pls help, my dad's condition seems similar to your mum.
@@isaacmendez3902 I just remember it was an immoglobin shot that was given for Gullian Bar syndrome. But she didnt have that. They really didnt know. She had horrible flaking for years that got so bad, I was vacumming several times per day. After she got the shot, it cleared up about 80%. I was upset because it should have been done years and years ago. All the other scripts did nothing. Good luck!
@@Somee989 Thank you for the information!!! But hell that's an expensive shot.. If I get the correct one.. lol
Cheers!
Thank you so much for this info! I've had psoriasis for 10 years now and this info is better than my dermatologist gave me 👌

I've had psoriasis for 20 years and by far the best treatment is sunlight. I live in the northern hemisphere where the weather is bad 90% of the time, so instead I do a tanning bed once a week. By far the easiest way to treat it for me.

I ordered all three suppliments mentioned in the video. Now have a doubt . How to consume ? 4x D3 vitamin D + 1 bile salt + 1 cod liver oil ? Or 2 bile salt + 2 cod liver oil + 4 D3 ? Any advise please ?
Look for a probiotic that actually gets to the gut. Read reviews on Amazon.

If I start having symptoms, I will get my labs checked and see, but so far, no symptoms and no issues from the vitamin D
>>Big PLus, I am off all prescription medications and steroids I was taking for psoriasis :). Cant thank you enough for sharing this information and greatful I came across this video

The only things that helped his skin were sunshine, saturated fat intake reduction, and his prescribed topical ointments. But of them all, going keto helped his skin more than anything.

God bless you Dr. I started taking vitamin D and just from that I saw positive results. Now I will follow your suggestions.
That's amazing.
Hopefully you will also talk about the Seborrheic Dermatitis (and its triggers: alcohol, to some eggs, or milk, etc). Thanks!
Seborrheic Dermatitis and psoriasis are NOT the same thing, though some triggers can be similar...
@@svetlanasannikova6073 You are clearly confused...as is Dr. Berg...regarding glutamine's pathway...
I have Psoriatic Arthritis...Thank you!
Excellent explanation. Thankful drBerg, it's really informative and so helpful for my mum❤
Glad you find the video informative. Thanks for watching!
I also use ointments with calendula. It helps tremendously.
@@jsabino20 hi,10,000 - 20,000iu means that intake 2-3 capsule of vitamin D??
Were u taking synthetic vit d?
Hi, I see you got better with supplements that Dr. Berg recommended, did you take the Tudca? I just ordered it and I’m not sure how much to take. Should I take before meals after meals empty stomach? Thank you so much.
How are you now carmen?
Yeah, just by cutting gluten I got rid of 97% of my psoriasis. So, I really recommend everyone to try that one out, but remember to try out at least 2 weeks without absolutely no gluten at all. I started getting results in 3-4 weeks, so you need patience.
What are all the foods that have gluten?
@@kathleenpimentel9218 Wheat, Barley, Oats and Rye. Some people can eat oats, but it has to be handled in a mill where none of the other grains are handled. I'd quit sugar too at first if I'd try this. Good luck! :)
@@kathleenpimentel9218 p.s. You need to read all labels if you do this, cause they add wheat to everything so even things like soy sauce has wheat in it.

Thankful dr Berg for your wonderful information. It's so helpful for my mum❤
Glad to know that you liked this post!
@ sky hi , Is there any impovement so far?

Listen up... My mom psoriasis was SEVERE for decades. Hundreds of dermo. appointments & tons of lotions, never worked. She fell ill for another reason & was given an IMMOGLOBIN SHOT & it COMPLETELY CURED her skin! It went from F to B plus! It lasted about 6 months then some small light patches started to come back but NOTHING like it was.... TRY THE SHOT... doctors dont think of it because its a side effect=clear skin....
@@MxchCuevas Oh really? Then why have I have it for years?
Good news. I feel so sorry for those who have bad psoriasis. I am 70 and my psoriasis is just now became chronic in one spot. These meds are already with me, so I will just up the dosages.
How are you these days?
Thank you Dr. Berg. You have no idea how life saving your work and knowledge is. 👍💗

I notice that certain foods are a psoriasis trigger for me, especially any kind of pork, fast foods, (KFC is the worst), and non-organic butter and dairy products.
Toxic foods blows your bodies nutrition levels downward
Yesss totally agree on that kfc it's the worst
Yep. Certain foods use to be a trigger for me too. Cheese was the worst culprit. Excessive sugar intake certainly didn't help either. Too many nightshades (tomatoes and white potatoes) could be problematic
KFC is food?
I cured my chronic psoriasis. It is caused by leaky gut syndrome and a processed food diet. UVB Light finally got the stubborn elbow patches. Gone now for 18 years!!!!
@@sh4808 can you suggest what brand please ???
That was very helpful. I have psoriasis (albeit mild) and I have a vitamin D deficiency, which my GP is now prescribing for me. Its makes sense, too, as my understanding is that Vitamin D is produced by sunlight on your skin. My dad had the same condition and I live in a northerly country.
Thanks
updates about taking vitamin d?
