ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Arizona often has beautiful storms to photograph from July through mid September or so. During my stay early on an active weather event occurred near Tucson. Enhanced convergence from storm outflows enabled a middle cell to produce a brief landspout tornado. For the rest of my stay, there wasn't much for photogenic weather, so we shifted gears and went looking for wild animals in the desert and sky islands. We observed many small mammals including skunks, jackrabbits, foxes and coyotes. Lots of reptiles and amphibians including six different species of rattlesnakes, a California kingsnake, and long-nosed snake as well as many spadefoots and Colorado River toads. Scorpions, solifugids and vinegaroons also crossed our path as well as hummingbirds and hawks.
TOMBSTONE
When in southeast Arizona it’s always a good time stopping in the Wild west boom town Tombstone. Not only for the jalapeño burgers at the Crystal Palace, But to walk in the footsteps of Gun slinging legends like Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp and more. We stopped by Boot Hill and at the Bird Cage Theater we went back in time to see Doc Holliday's usual seat at the faro table, the original grande piano that played along side performers and of course the Fiji Mermaid.
Hope you guys enjoyed this adventure made possible by my Patrons on Patreon!

I’ve lived in Arizona for all 28 years of my life, and you’ve somehow managed to see more wildlife than I have on your trip!
LOL
Well I think it helps if you actually went out into the Wild to see the wildlife
Anna Burgdorf well don’t you like jumping to conclusions. i assume you know saerbear personally and know they don’t go into the wild then right?
@@MonkeysInDiapers Appears you are right. She assumes and is definitely an ass!!! Maybe one of them Portland critters!! 🤣🤣
Nice way to bring politics into a random conversation where it wasn't needed, pathetic. And she sounds to be about right.
Hank made Arizona seem like a mystical place. The lone horse at the end sealed it.
The wait between videos is long but entirely worth it. You do excellent work Hank.
Quality over quantity ;)
Agreed.
i guess he uploads regularly on patreon...i would know if i had a credit card
Amen Excellent !

I had a good laugh on that.

Pecos Hank: I can fix that
EeveeKnight Hope you feel better soon!
Man thats the truth. I would love to ride with him after some tornys...as a matter of fact id probably pay money(to him, n then pay my own way obviously) to ride along with him for awhile. That would be a awesome vaca to me. I wanted to be a storm chaser as a child. Not a firefighter or any of that. Haha just heard him say "biggun", thought that was a louisiana thing...must be a southern thing. I just discovered pecos...n he's literally what i wanted to be when i grew up😂😂😂...living vicariously thru u buddy. Becareful out there n spraying for ur safety in ur travels as always
💪😁👍
I haven't slept in 2 days these videos are a godsend
His unconditional love for wildlife and storms/tornadoes is truly heart warming.
You also gotta give Hank respect for his positive and optimistic outlook on life. Not to mention his bravery and ability to create true RUclips art.
I honestly feel bad for anyone not subscribed to your channel; this is one of the most underrated channels in all of RUclips!
yeah, i completely agree. just discovered him on the end of 2019
Eigengrau that’s cool
but i don’t remember asking 😳
VarietyMix Don’t be rude. They were just telling their story. Also, that response is so overused (mostly by preteens who can’t formulate an argument) that it doesn’t even mean anything anymore.
@@CactusCarrotactually my reply can means that 'there are still some people who discovered this channel even after some years... So that's okay'
But well, maybe he didn't get it
@@VarietyMix you didnt have to because no one wants to talk to you 🤗
Note to self: Never go walking at night in an Arizona desert.
I'll let you in on a secret in case of emergencies: you can lick a toad and that'll call the aliens to come and pick you up in their ufo to save you from the rattlesnakes!
😩🥺😂🤣🤣😂😂
I wouldn’t walk without light there. Ya might step onto somethin’ nasty
They should fence that all damn desert. Yikes.
Carry a shotgun if you have no flashlight LOL
0:10 I wasn’t watching this at first, just listening as it played, when I heard Pecos mention that his luggage arrived ironically. I rewound the footage to watch again and laughed SO hard when I saw the luggage falling off the rack😂
If it weren’t for your comment, I would have never noticed. THANK YOU 😂
Literally seeing this for the first time, absolutely died laughing 😂😂

I just adore how kind and knowledgeable you are of all the creatures you come across.
You are without question my favourite storm chasing animal lover.
What a perfect ending! Seeing a stray horse just trotting down the road and Hand singing “Happy Trails”!
Perfection👏🏻👏🏻
my X would be like ..... WE need to save this poor poor animal!
I had to laugh when the horse turned and looked at Hank as if to say, Nothing to see here...move along. 🤣🤣🤣

“Not a great year.”

Ryan Fisher sorry I hurt your feelings
That luggage bit in the beginning got a laugh out of me. Glad to see another video from ya!
Hopefully that wasn't his!
Cherie... Same here...funny from JUMP ST. 😂
I'm a former amateur storm chaser, 13 tornado's, 2 hurricanes, throughout the midwest and Texas. Pecos Hank has some of the best videos out there....
Pecos the critter hunter needs his own show.
He's already got it; we just need to come up with a title.
No show needed, this guy is doing great with his platforms. He does his own work on his own time, living his best life if you ask me.
He should do a collab with Coyote Peterson of Brave Wilderness.
"Hence all the UFO sightings" 🤣 your respect for animals and nature is absolutely beautiful ❤

Why do you love Pecos Hank? Because he is 100% his own person. He isn't a cowboy, he isn't a native american, he isn't a meteorologist, he isn't a zoologist, he isn't a rock star, he isn't a youtuber. But he is Pecos Hank and he is a jack of all trades.
Seriously though as a patreon supporter I have no idea how he makes money with the random uploads and knowing how much he makes on patreon it confuses me even more. Makes me wonder how much selling tornado photos/videos makes.
I think I need to write a song about Hank (if thats ok with you Hank) . Hank is the stuff of legends and an original - and a just plain great human being. Hank is what is known in Texas, as "A Good Texan", that is high tribute. Soul to Soul
He's a living legend XD
@@cynthiaklenk6313 ... Hell Yeah!!!
@cloudtoground... Well, just don't do it in Texas.
Hes a lover of nature ..atmospheric and whatnot
Hank's love of animals is as broad as his love of weather
This is awesome and some beautiful snakes and that scorpion/spider hybrid was amazing
Ah I just love it when Hank Attenborough shows us some nature.
I have learned that “I have a treat for you guys; you’re gonna love this” means I need to prep to have the heebie-jeebies
Yep I've learned to not cringe so much at the snakes 😂 he's taught me lots!!
13:58 Hank don't follow tornadoes . Tornadoes follow him.
ManOFSteel it’s a dust devil
ManOFSteel actually a tornado did chase him, the video where he was saying it's coming right on top of me and it's sucking real hard
They want nothing more than to appear in one of his videos
Spank Themonkey lmfaooo 😭
Jordan Herring you seen it too lol. The tornado did several turns towards him

Also, the two Chinese is hilarious
Yeah I’ve been there before. I think he was accused of stealing horses, if I’m not mistaken. I’m surprised he didn’t show Lester Moore on there though

AH! The Last Starfighter reference! You made my day! ^_^
Maybe that’s why we have tide pod eaters too. 😂
When you pulled up along side the horse I thought you were going to say
“Hey, you wanna ride?”
Thanks for the hilarious take on life. 😂
I love these videos so much Hank, keep them coming :)
13:57 oh yeah, let’s not forget about the harmless dust devil
I love arizona. I can’t imagine ever moving away 😅 but i must admit, i should explore more of it.
It is such a beautiful place. One of my best assignments was at Fort Huachuca - Sierra Vista, 80 miles S-E of Tucson. I used to go up into the Huachuca mountains, play my guitar and listen to the wind whisper in the trees.
@MATADOR In the summer roaches come out but nothing like Florida. I lived there a few years and theyre huge.
@MATADOR I live in Sierra Vista now, and lived in Tucson for 30 years. Roaches are very common and I've seen 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches roaches come into my house through the sewers many times.
Arizona's a little too hot for me, but if I had to move there I'd probably try to go for the high mountains where it's a little cooler in the summer
@@esco5593 exactly I've heard Flagstaff is lovely climate wise
I adore your voice. Whether you're staring down the barrel of an EF5, a venomous northern blacktail, or a hankerin' for mediocre fish and taters, you have the same amount of enthusiasm, love, and respect for nature. May you enjoy many more successful and safe hunts.

Been interested in severe weather and lived in Arizona my whole life. You've seen hundreds of tornadoes, come to Arizona and still manage to see more than I have in my life.
Yayyyyy!!! I was so bored all night and had nothing I wanted to watch on RUclips until I saw that you uploaded. You just made my night. 🙌🏼 thank you
Hank, I am a proud Canadian. I love beer, hockey, wildlife and watching tornados on your RUclips channel. But honestly, the only good spider is a dead spider.
The Sonoran desert is an amazing place! Thank you for visiting once again, come back any time.

Love your lighting shots 😍 they're amazing
Well some reason you have no heart
There is something really soothing about seeing Hank handle snakes. The look so chill in his hands
"Sidewinding is kind of a cross between slithering and 2 stepping" 😂😂😂 Some nice bolt captures too in this episode! Always a good time Hank!
Arizona - Forever my home sweet home. I miss it so badly sometimes. Monsoons are the best storms. Soul shaking thunder, amazing light shows, and the most wonderful skies on the days following.
👍 You found more types of Rattlers than I saw in seven years living there! 😎 P.S. Great hat choice! 🤠
Awesome video. Born and raised in Arizona over 35 years now. I like that you're nice to all the creatures and never try killing them.
Just getting ready for going to work here in the UK... oh, okay, a new Pecos Hank video's dropped! Time for another coffee! Work can wait!
That arachnid-toid creature chasing you have fully convinced me never to move to AZ!

Watching this at night with the fear of snakes and scorpions and spiders was a bad idea
There was a dust devil at my school the other day and forgot about it until I saw the dust devil go in front of your car
When I lived in Nevada I once caught a dust devil and ran inside. Guess what?Ummm Its kinda windy and really dusty :-)

Good luck Jello and thanks for watching.
I live in Tucson, Arizona and this is everything a Tucsonan would want to watch from their home town, Monsoon, lightning, sunsets, snakes, Tombstone. We don’t have many tornados at all but this video was amazing!
Just woke up to this (I'm on the other side of the pond) and it was a great beginning to my day.
Thanks! I love people who are able to speak with animals. God bless you 🙂
