Something worth checking out when you have time is any reaction Will does with charismatic voice and the video she did putting a camera down Will’s throat showing what he’s vocals do with the different screams. It’s long but super interesting

Complete honesty, as talented as Will is, I can't say I enjoy this at all. I recognize Will is at the top of the game with the goblin scream and range transitions but I would rather listen to a symphony of cat squalls.
I think of the dead star and we are part as saying that we come from the material of dead stars that died long ago.
I don't even really like this style of music but the vocalist and the drummer are ridiculous. I've watched live footage of them and the drummer barely looks like he's putting any effort into it. He's just so casual while he's playing these insane blast beats and 1,000 mph kick drums.

If you can't understand the lyrics, you need to look them up and follow along. I've been a fan of this music for a long time, and more times than not, the music is some very intelligent poetry.
If good music evokes emotion then it's a win I guess? Although I'm kinda old and I don't think I'd seek out this style to listen to on a daily basis. Also, hope that Will has a good vocal coach and ENT doc to preserve the vocal cords as he's going hard on them.
Hey BP. You should get Andiroo in and react to a band called Wintersun. The Song is called Suns of Winter and Stars. Live from the rehearsals and Sonic Pump studios. It has over 200 backing tracks and is epic. With his audio engineering background it would be interesting to hear his take on it

I really, really hope you'll react to the "operation throat camera" video on the channel of the charismatic voice. It's very long, but the actual part in the speech laboratory is short enough for a reaction and I think it will be very interesting for you to see, what's going on in the throat while doing this vocals.
Personal I'm not a fan of death core, for exactly the reason your friend likes it: too big, too much of a sound wall for me. But I'm a fan of the vocal ability. Therefore I prefer the one take vocal covers because the vocals are a bit louder in the mix.

The funny think about will os his personality is polar opposite to his vocals. He's very humble but in interviews he's like an excited labrador puppy... he talked about his ADHD in a recent interview with nik nocturnal and the interview was very informal as they know each other well and will was goofy AF and all over the place with his ADHD, he had nik really laughing. He's just a likable guy.

😆 Yeah I don't listen to Lorna shore because I'm not a fan of deathcore, though I do like some heavier vocals. Will has amazing clean vocals. I wish he would do a side project with more of that. I hate that a lot of metal fans tend to think the heavier the better 🙄🙄
