Wow, what a difference a few years make in your speaking style and connection with the viewer! It's pretty neat to see the changes over time.

I'm a big fan of balancing action, and non action. Power, and absorption. I've always seen our lives, and efforts being like the incoming surf of the ocean. Great video that helps people to see the value of balance in one's life.

I agree. You define what a victory is for you. The key word is moderation. A moderate approach to success. I like it.

Hey Leo, thank you for this!
I've been focused and grounded on my business so much lately, that I've started losing sight on the reason why I loved it in the first place.
This video opened my eyes a little bit more on that!

Followed the advice immediately and decided to take a 1,5 hour walk instead of going home like usual. This let me be more aware and free from the little world of mine. It was like a forced meditation with a lot of energy going inside me. Thank you for a great idea :)

TL;DR I worked a lot less than normal yesterday thanks to this video.
I watched this on Saturday.. I was going to take a day off on Sunday. This workaholic thing is a serious issue that I still don't master... I feel as if work isn't work, it's just life. Everything is. And even though I slept 7.30h at night (my body wouldn't go back to sleep even though I lied there.. so I went to meditate)..
I took a powernap as well during the day where I got filled with brilliant ideas so I catched no Z's lol...
Well.. Just to shortening this long-as-fuck-story... I worked a lot less than normal yesterday.
I didn't cut it out completely but I worked a lot less. If I say in hours how many hours it became, you'd send me to the shrink lol. I'm going to rest more on the last day of the year.. The rest are workdays and if that becomes an issue..then so be it.
    Peace

Great old school Leo vid. So true, we need to take vaca's to bring back that spark in us to pursue mastery. Those kids out there with the ice cream truck was funny. Would of been funny if Leo told em something.

Another fantastic video that is so true!
An important point I would like to add. At 6:00, where Leo is describing his first day off, he mentions that he felt a rush of inspiration and that he was tempted to jump back into the work when he got home. Rather than giving in he held himself back and decided to wait until his 2 days off was over. What I like to do here is to take 10-20 minutes to write down all of the inspirations that came to me in a to-do list style format (typically a short list of bullet points in Notepad or Word). As I am doing this the inspiration tends to continue and I keep noting everything. Once the inspiration ceases I will then return to enjoying my time off. This accomplishes the following for me:
    1) It prevents me from forgetting all of the great ideas I had.
    2) It allows me to empty my mind (Part of what the break/vacation time is all about), which often leads to even more inspirations on the second day of taking a break.
    3) It allows me to hit the ground running once the break/vacation is over. Having this to-do list ready enables me to quickly grind out a large number of mini-accomplishments, and those mini-accomplishments stack up quickly giving you greater confidence, additional inspirations, and an enhanced desire to do even more before the burnout sets in again.

Well, from what I've figure it out, everything is determinated by the balance. However, how is it possible to accomplish that? I'm very bad at it.
