Something that I think needs reinstated is the uniform differences amongst units mustered within different states like how the Texas volunteer army looks different than that of the North Carolina uniform
@@richardlahan7068 and that belief is what leads to fratricide. Just like what we are seeing with every nation adopting a pattern of Multicam as their standard combat uniform.
I’ve spent a lot of time doing physically demanding tasks both in historical wool military uniforms and modern combat uniforms. Wool uniforms are better for every season besides summer, they last forever, are comfy and always look great. They ditched them for the modern pump and dump style of overproduced low quality low priced trash. They weren’t better in every way, but things like hook and loop adoption in the military is proof that not everything today has been a good idea.

And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race."
Wish they still made them like this!
Once i reinstate the south, then we bear this drip again

They do at the VMI, the Citadel, and West Point.
Being from Louisiana, " the bonnie blue flag" means a lot, also having relatives that fought in the 8th Louisiana

It'll never happen, maybe NG units with different uniforms but they'd never differentiate federal troops by state.
The entire point of having a uniform is so everybody looks "uniform" and has a sense of belonging to the same team.

@loganbaileysfunwithtrains606 We can't tell other countries what camo patterns they can adopt.

That VMI cadet uniform is beautiful wish I would of had the chance to go to school there.
Citadel cadet uniforms are very similar.
Uniforms looks so relax
0:23. Is Stonewall Jackson
As outdated and inefficient as woolen uniforms were, they were the best looking ones in human history.

Germany had some fine looking uniforms circa A.D. 1933 to 1945.
Hurra for CSA ! Hurra for the southern cause !

Not going to lie the Virginia institute candidate kind of looks like a Austrian soldier in the Napoleonic wars
The first uniform you showed is a West Point cadet, not a VMI cadet. The federal eagle and castle on the shako make this a West Point uniform.
As said beforehand, this isn’t of my work and by no means am I an expert. I simply posted what I thought was cool.
Csa uniform never dissapoint me
Biutiful
That song could be describing the current joining of states to protect the southern border...
3/10 video, didn’t include the Continental Morgan Guard uniform.

It is clear the Americans had no taste at all for uniforms.
Cooler than anything dreamt up by a latino clown.
Wrong
I love the uniforms of the CSA but not the racism and slavery in the confederacy

I've not heard of any Confederates betraying the CSA or their states. I'd like to read more. Can you provide a link?
