I remember watching this with my gran, every Sunday I think.
David Kossoff's voice takes me back when I hear him speaking, as does the late great Peggy Mount.
Well done for saving these little gems for today's techno mad crowd and showing them how leisurely we were then.
    ( chuckle )

When I was a young boy [ in the late 1950's] I had an aunt who was exactly like Peggy Mount. We would visit her most Sunday's and I dreaded every moment!

And these days you can buy ten cardigans for the price of the wool of one cardigan.

On my first trip to England alot of people asked me if I was part of the "Larkins" family referring to this show and I just found out from a friend where to watch the old show!! Awesome !

Thanks for uploading - I had never even heard of this series despite being a fan of 1950s comedy. Interesting to note that actor playing the vicar was the father of Trigger from 'Only Fools and Horses.'

+Londonfogey Yes, Charles Lloyd Pack also appeared in the early Hancock shows often as a doctor, lawyer, vicar etc...

David Kossoff's son was Paul Kossoff who played bass for the great band, " Free " before his tragic death.

They need to give a round figure of exactly how many sitcoms and even the sitcoms that only aired once because they flopped. My guess it could have been a hundred between the UK and the States. Am I the only one curious.?
