I was born in 1971, so this show is of my parents' younger days. It's lovely to get this rare opportunity to watch something they once enjoyed - and may I say it's a lot better than 99.9% of the dumbed down dross on tv today that is purely designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator in society. Thank you so much ❤
Interesting to watch, and also to contemplate the evolution of British comedy. The sad part, is hearing the dreaded "Laugh Track", or "Laugh on Cue " audio. I've hated it since I was a child; it never made anything funny that wasn't.
Brilliant casting. Peggy Mount and David Kossoff. I could watch them all day.

The Larkins was filmed with a live audience
57305 Northern Princess that’s right most of these shows were done with a live audience and that’s what makes real entertainment 👍👍
Son-in-law seems a bit dim.
