I am a serious student of this case for 40 years.....and I stand by the notion that when we all stand before our God and ask "Who was Jack The Ripper?" and He tells us the name, we'll all gasp and collectively say "WHO?!?!?" 😃
Thank you for addressing my question so exemplary quickly Mr. Jones! Much appreciated! Hat tip. To be quite honest I wasn’t even aware of the Jamaican connection. However, If I’m not entirely mistaken there have been a couple of theory’s that the Whitechapel murderer may have been a sailor, or at least worked in some capacity, on a merchant ship, partly due to a witness description (Joseph Lawende) and partly because Edward Larkin, a clerk in the British Customs Statistical Department in 1888, and much later former murder squad Detective and author Trevor Marriott, who both independently suggested that the killer may have been a merchant sailor.
I love true crime and some spooky things. I however have never been into Jack The Ripper, but I have been binge watching you channel for a couple of months. Suddenly I am now very interested. I love your story telling. So thank you from an American who loves London 🇱🇷🇱🇷
I remember reading somewhere that there was no trace in any Nicaraguan newspapers of murders of the kind the British and American newspapers were reporting. Somehow the story got into Ripper lore and was uncritically repeated in subsequent books without anyone checking for the original sources. Thanks for your efforts and safe journeys!
I suspect that Jack the Ripper had a very small geographic profile. He was probably born close to where he committed the murders, and died close to where he committed the murders. He probably never traveled very far from London in his short and otherwise insignificant life.
Quite possible, though Whitechapel was an area with a lot of immigration and people moving there when everything else become to expensive. The only possible way i see the ripper being a traveller is if he was a sailor or became one.
I think that just like the Yorkshire Ripper, Jack the Ripper had all the luck in the world but unlike Sutcliffe, Jack did not operate long enough to have that one piece of bad luck
My number one suspect changes every week. Last week it was Levy now I am leaning towards Tumblety. Then again surely a 6 foot American would stand out like a sore thumb in the east end of London? Awesome video as always.
Well, seeing as how Kosminski is literally the ONLY suspect with strong, legitimate evidence against, you can call off your search. It aint no Tumblety or the asinine new Lechmere theory or any of the others
@@raymur1969Nah I actually think he is very weak suspect. Other than finding the first victim there is no evidence at all linking him with the other murders. I have seen certain YT channels shoe horn the evidence to fit the suspect, rather than the suspect fit the evidence. He also doesn't match any of the credible descriptions (if they are to be believe), he doesn't fit any of the criminal profiling and not only that he lived well into the 20th century so why didn't he keep killing? Ironically though he is the only suspect with any solid evidence against him and that was he was found at the scene of the crime.
HI RICHARD, WAS EITHER THE EDITOR WHO WROTE THE DEAR BOSS LETTER OR ANY JOURNALISTS ON THE CASE LOOKED INTO. MAYBE TO CREATE SALES BY COMMITTING THE MURDERS?. JUST SOMETHING I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED.
Another Ripping video Richard! What were the police up to with this nonsense? Were they really trying to get him to strike again? Or just trying to persuade the public he had moved on? It would be really good to hear your take on the N America "Ripper" murders.
A journalistic ruse, huh? Though I'm curious as to why after the "Double Event," JTR didn't kill again for over a month. Was he away for work? As a sailor? Thank you for another wonderful video 🍻

Yeh...A Butcher who worked in Whitechapel?
It was Maybrick mate… case closed
I've always said he was a totally nondescript bloke down the road who had a very sharp knife.
But we've already heard of Lechmere though. 😉
That's the thing about Jack. He was a nobody and that's why we don't know who he was.
I could not imagine Jack the Ripper amongst the palm trees sipping a rum cocktail 🤣 sorry.
Thank you for addressing my question so exemplary quickly Mr. Jones!

Thank you, Mr. Jones, for another wonderful JTR episode! Love the history behind it all! ❤

Unless he was a travelling merchant seaman.
@theobjectivethinker64
He HAD to have had intimate knowledge of all they streets and back streets. He wasn't a foreigner or non local.
@@theobjectivethinker64 like Carl Feigenbaum
When you go on RUclips you will learn that Jack-the-Ripper type murders had taken place in all ages and all locales. The world's a bloodthirsty place.
I think that just like the Yorkshire Ripper, Jack the Ripper had all the luck in the world but unlike Sutcliffe, Jack did not operate long enough to have that one piece of bad luck
Research into what happened where Tumblety and Lechmere both moved to would be highly interesting.
A video comparison of them both would be useful.
They are very different kinds of suspects.
and Carl Feigenbaum alias Anton Zahn
@@EvanDavies-p5b yes correct.. but are the two likely perps.
No - next question?
Thank you Richard, will watch tonight 👍
Riparagua
You really need to adjust & raise the volume up a tad 😢. Thank You So Much
Great story! Loved the tongue-in-cheek narrative-a wonderful change of pace!
Did you travel by AI flight, lol ? Very good video as usual, Richard. Thanks❤
Excellent information!

Levy is an interesting one, i dont feel like there are many great videos on him funny enough. He feels like the common obscure suspect.

It’s amazing that after all this time and analysis and information nobody can make a good case for who is Jack!?!?
Not sure but if Jack brought his surfboard he could've Surfed Nicaragua 🤘🏻
Loved it! Thank you, Richard.
Oh, wow. What a crazy story. I was thinking, "What? I've never heard of this before." LOL Crazy. And interesting.
In Jamaica? Case closed! Bob Marley was the rippa'! How do you explain "No Woman, No Cry"?
What next.....JTR kills in the Kalahari? Antarctica? Mt Everest?
Quite a few bodies on Everest!
Mars... Uranus... Galaxy Far Far Away
Great video as per usual but... Ermmm.... I am going to say "No, no he didnae."

The only way this story could be better would be if Fred Best of The Star had been the journalist who had been the one to push it.
Thank you.

Great stuff! :)
It would make sense if he was in a Sailor in the Navy
Heard of something simular in what was British guiana. Georgetown I believe. Could be wrong?
Jack is buried right here in London. I think I found his grave. Just a gut feeling.
9:28 you are a master of sarcasm.
Interesting. If they were real, I don't think it was the Ripper.
No.
Just when I thought I had heard it all. Now Jack was in Latin America?
😃😀😀
It's been proven that was actually Carlos the Cutter
Detectives trying to get some O.T.
Too far Fetched!...The Police could not catch him in london?..And the Police in Nicaragua could not catch him either?
I love your stories and follow you whenever I see a new one. But, I beg of you, please learn how to pronounce Nicaragua properly...lol
I did apologise for my appalling pronunciation!
The Canonical 5 format ? That kind of backs up the theory of staged murders?
No he didn't.
I think was a royal
Love it! 😄
👍as usual 👋
Well at least you got to see Central America and the cute Latina women!😅

I did think of ending with Feigenbaum, but then I thought that if the murders didn't actually occur then he couldn't have actually committed them!
