I have two sets of these - older and newer. I'm not exactly light on them. Not a single tip has broken. An excellent product.

IMHO, Taiwanese stuff is much better than Chinese.

PB Swiss use a special alloy based on spring steel in their tools so that when you over torque or abuse them they will bend instead of just snap in half. That's why it's the bendiest of all. Sidenote the PB Swiss picks also come in the red comfort grip besides the vanilla-scented translucent plastic.

Mayhew has a usa made pick set that is smaller than these, channel lock uses them as their own picks. Same handles as their new mini pry bars. They're pretty nice, I bought the channellock version for the blue but I do like the old channel lock acetate handle mini picks a little better. You can still get either set for about $20 but the acetate handle ones are starting to get harder to find

But for a few more dollars personally I'd skip the catspaw and just get the USA made Mayhew, channellock, or tekton picks.
I might grab those PB Swiss too, even those really aren't expensive

I don't spend alot of money on my picks
I've found a long time ago that the pick tends to be abused as much as a straight screwdriver

PB Swiss really is an inferior go to in my opinion... PB Jay's on the other hand is a stone on which we can stand. Swiss cheese and peanut butter really is nasty

Mayhew have all these different ranges - Catspaw, Dominator, Professional - what's the difference? I get confused. But those asymmetric handles are no good for left-handers if they force you to hold the pick a certain way round, so I'll pass.

I know it doesn't matter, but the current Mayhew handles look like a cheap off brand screwdriver.
If they were domestically made I could over look that, but being imported I cannot.
