i think the manga would settle that one argument on the reddit that suggests that sunny was the one who tipped mari over the edge, and she did herself in. and after sunny kept forgetting that basil was the one who gave him the "remember its in the toy box" photo. with the "truth" being just a false memory from sunny's part based on a psychotic dream from basil that he vented on him. it builds off the "omori plotholes are just sunny hallucinating!!" theory in a way, since the majority of its arguments is that it fulfills and explains a majority of those things (from the poster's pov). with the other point being that the characters fit to a t the traits mentioned in the psychology research related what he says happens in the theory hes still going strong on it today. alone.💀
