  • A film of my first trip to one of my favourite reserves, RSPB Frampton Marsh in Lincolnshire since the beginning of the pandemic. Correction: The birds described as Knot are actually Curlew Sandpiper, which I had never filmed before, so that’s a good mistake :))
    Shot on Nikon Coolpix P1000
    GoPro Hero Black 7

Love it! I am a young bird/wildlife enthusiast, and should definitely come here one day! Loved watching the Little Grebe, Spoonbill, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Ruff, Avocet… Basically-all of it!

A simply stunning reserve superbly represented. I always think of Frampton as your 'home' reserve despite being a fair old journey, probably because of that b-roll legend ;) Curlew Sands perfect topper for an August jaunt. How delightful, all of it, masterful edit and narrative. Superb, Si.

Beautiful observations! Thank you for the video. The birds at 6:56 look like curlew sandpipers to me. The bills are quite long and thin..

Great film as usual Graham. I've always had disappointing visits to Frampton Marsh over the years. I'll have to try again.

Lovely film, Graham. Did you head up onto the sea bank to see the pair of Pacific Golden Plovers? It’s why the car park is busier than normal recently.
