One of your best Graham! A most enjoyable watch not only for the birds but also the videography. I have not been to Frampton Marsh but it will be on my wish list!
Wonderful as always. I was there on Sunday and I think I saw you and your friend but couldn't be certain as you don't appear often on your own films. I was lucky enough to see the white fronted geese, a first for me. A wonderful reserve!
Thankyou Graham. Wonderful presentation. Loving the opening and closing drone footage. A nice variety captured on film. Thanks for putting in the extra miles. Take Care
You've done it again Graham, another excellently filmed and edited video, well worth a second watch, I like the Nikon P1000 thanks to you....an excellent camera...keep up the good work..👍
Delightful Graham. I really enjoyed that. It really stood up to being watched full-screen with decent headphones. The beautiful light, birds, and natural soundscape left me feeling genuinely soothed! Your gentle narration manages to complement rather than detract from the background audio. Were the natural sounds captured in-camera or on a separate device? Top work my friend! 👍👍👍
Take a look at investing in a decent bridge camera, they have small sensors so you can get good magnification and are excellent quality especially for video
Do you have any tips on keeping the P1000 steady? I brought one for wildlife filming but I find that it tends to search horizontally a lot, so far I've found it quite frustrating to use.
You either have to brace yourself against something, also avoid zoming all the way in if you have can or investing in a short bipod/tripod if you can afford one or feel the need.
@@gwafilms Is that the £70 after market contraption? I had seen them, it is a bit annoying that they're needed - they really didn't consider weight balancing with this camera.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing
Loved the drone footage

Wonderful little video, haven't been able to get to my patch yet this year so seeing your films always gives me a little bit of joy.
Thank for that :-)
Thank you for sharing, great video and certainly makes me want to get out in my local reserve again. Stay strong.
Thanks Richard, get out there:-)
Great Video. I spotted some Robin red breat on the front lawn. An early spring? perhaps! Trish
Thanks, won't be long now:-)
Been there today and saw a black winged stilt
Excellent

Thanks Grsham, separate recorder with a little artistic licence shall we say just as an embellishment :-)

Amazing work sir, i am planning to buy a nikon p1000 next month specifically for birding....will this camera be a vice choice..??
Thank you, excellent choice for filming wildlife
Any chance of seeing a marsh harrier
Yes, if you look at a previous film, the one with the Hare thumbnail there's one on that film, you can see them there
In order to take decent pictures and videos at reserves, do you need a huge camera? My phone videos always look rubbish.

@@gwafilms thanks for the advice. Photography looks like such a rewarding hobby.

I use it for video only I use a sturdy tripod with a mounting plate that balances the camera and I turn off the steady shot, hope this helps

No I actually made something myself bases on a camera mounting plate I had for a pro camera
