An inspiration for all to use the full facilities of their camera gear. Close ups and slow-mo of the Sparrows and Starlings really showed their splendour. I would do the same having watched this but a sparrowhawk has taken residency on the fence rail!! I do not think my senses would find the 'capture' awe inspiring! Great video.
Thanks Doug, I have female Sparrowhawk that sometimes perches in the Ash tree but it doesn't seem to get a fast angle and the birds have time to escape although I did recently find a pile of Wood Pigeon feathers in the garden, thanks again
👍👍👍🤓 Terrific! Really relaxing, beautifully shot, and presented with well chosen music - and a nice natural overdub at the end! Good work Graham. Some of my friends will know that I can have a bit of a chip on my shoulder when it comes to presentation of slow-motion footage, but this was properly declared, appropriate presentation of slowed down footage of common birds. I do get rather irritated when people post undeclared slow-motion-only footage (with no normal speed footage included) of less common birds - just because they can, thus robbing the viewer of any chance to familiarise themself with the normal natural "jizz" of a bird they may not yet have seen in the wild.
This was wonderful Graham. Loved the music too. You have a good variety of species in the garden. And aren’t Starlings just the most beautiful of birds! I’ll bet there wasn’t much left when that gang had left. 😃
