It's funny. Right before he sighs, Lino almost looked like he was about to cry as well. Maybe he understands how the shrimp feels since Lino has been working tirelessly to raise a pair of sons. Especially Lenny since the latter can't eat meat without getting sick from the taste, and there's nothing that either Lino nor Lenny can do about it
The Titanic was a luxury cruise ship sailing from Southampton to New York on April 10th, 1912. The ship sails in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15th, 1912. The ship hits an iceberg. The luxury liner sinks into the underwater.
This is absolutely one of my favorite scenes in the movie, and I really cracked up at this scene so much. Also, I really felt bad for Lenny since Don Lino expects him to be just like Frankie and I like him just the way he is, and I believed the shrimp when he told that story to Don Lino which made me feel a little emotional.
1:07 It’s true, it’s true and the other thing is, my sister had a baby and I took it over because she passed away, and then the baby lost its legs and it’s arms, now he’s nuthin but a stub, but I still take care of her with my wife, and it’s- it’s growing and it’s- it’s fairly happy, and it’s difficult cause’ I’ve been working a second shift at the factory to put food on the table but all the love, that I see in that little guy’s face makes it worth it in the end… true story
My favorite part about this quote is the fact that they took the care to use it, he, and her when referring to the baby. Usage of all pronouns to be ambiguous? An accident? Or a depressingly rare case of LGBTQIA+ in a movie not from more recent times?
You know when you really think about it it’s quite fucked up that this restaurant serves shrimp and likely other sea animals that are STILL ALIVE, can you imagine how fucked up that would be in real life if there were food items that not only were still alive (they still exist such as this octopus dish in South Korea) but could also TALK now that would be really disturbing. I mean sure this restaurant is run by sharks from a mafia but still even if they have no qualms on serving sea animals alive you would think they would still kill them anyway considering the potential problems with eating something alive such as it squirming when you try and eat it.
Even though the amount of hate this movie gets is probably justified, there is one thing I can appreciate about this movie. In most movies that support the annoying cliche of the disappointed father who won't accept his kid for who he is, the disappointed father is a character that we're supposed to like, and the way they're portrayed makes them really hard to like. In this movie, however, even though Don Lino being the disappointed father makes him very easy to hate, he is also the villain, meaning that he's a character that we're SUPPOSED to hate, so that makes this nowhere near as annoying as most instances of the disappointed father.
Who would have thought that the guy who's like, keep my wife's name out your Trucking mouth, and the guy who's like, peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches, who would have thought that these two guys would work not so well together?

Yes, I noticed that too. Lino had sympathy as Lenny (just in more discreet way). Frankie was annoyed.
Don and Frankie and Lenny eat at the restaurant on the White Star passenger liner R.M.S. Titanic.
The Titanic was a luxury cruise ship sailing from Southampton to New York on April 10th, 1912. The ship sails in the North Atlantic Ocean on April 15th, 1912. The ship hits an iceberg. The luxury liner sinks into the underwater.
They say the Titanic be unsinkable.
The crewmembers and the officers tried to turn away from the iceberg.

@Lydia Frazier I believed the shrimp too.
@Lydia Frazier Yes, it was emotional.
@Lydia Frazier Absolutely right.
Frankie is a killer shark and Lenny is a vegetarian shark.
If merpeople to live on the Titanic.
Those shrimps are so cute, who would eat such cute little guys like them?
Me honestly. Have you eaten shrimp?
@@zachjohnson9391 Yes
@@minaminasstudios8492 then why ask?
Not me.
I would, because I like the taste of shrimp and just to, out of spite, leave the shrimp's niece an orphan.
"Now, she has no one"
It has to count for something that Frankie looks worried and tries to help Lenny instead of enjoying his brother getting in trouble.
You can see he was surprised obviously, that Lenny raised his voice at his father for the First time and directly disobeyed him.
That’s why I say Frankie isn’t that bad he does have a soft spot and loves Lenny and I think there’s things about don Lino that Frankie doesn’t like
That sad story couldn’t move me. I’m sorry. I’m desensitized af 😂😂😂
