The expressions the crab makes during the film is hilarious
When big red shows up, the crab is just like "oh snap, are these your snacks?"
If red was the only bluster she might be alone and I hope chill make the brickleback vs the inevitable scene

I like how they were able to put a readable expression on a crab
I love how they actually made the movement look natural, she moves almost like a seal would on land, and there's nothing graceful about it, the body slams and wide arcing attacks are what really sell just how immense she really is compared to the crab/the other monsters shown, that and just the sheer *length* when she's being pulled into the castle bay. It's really cool
Also the crab being thrown is funny as hell
Litterally just freezes in mid air no scrabbling or running just “oh I am flying”

This movie is a 10/10 so amazing. Was surprised when I put it on for my kids and I ended up watching every second of it lol

This is the best part in my opinion, because as a monster movie fan, monster fights are the biggest highlights.

@@PeppaJackable 1. Monsterverse (and any other big Hollywood movie at that) films are produced on a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars.

I just want to say that Red’s roar sounds absolutely incredible to me, it feels so powerful
I thought I was the only one to think so, she just breathes this..majesty and power into each of her movements…you can literally feel how powerful she is..

Anyone feel like there’s a dark secret here??
I feel like there was something to the sea creature, more than what met the eye. Why would it do desperately want to attack the royal ship? And put itself in danger by heading to the inevitable as well?
I believe that the war started by the royals making a deal with the witch. (I’m still not sure as to why)
She cursed people into sea monsters,
And when a caption managed to kill the largest one by using her help, after that monsters death, that caption would turn into a sea monster and his crew would all turn into birds that would follow him/her.
It’s also makes sense as to why the witch tells captain crow that the price to her help is “Everything…”
Again, this is just a theory
I definitely believe in this theory. It make sense. I too felt like there was else going on.
Also the birds flying around the Sea Monsters. Reminded me of the ending of Godzilla 2014 with the birds flying around his head. Remember my dad saying. "He's good" when in theaters.

I think what the witch meant by everything is jacob but not in a dying way cuz captain crow saw him as a son but they fought bc jacob said that the red bluster was nice and then captain crow lost jacob

I actually would like to see A Sea Beast/How to train your Dragon crossover. Unlikely though due to them being made by different studios. But still it would be awesome. 🐉🐍
@@rattings9121 Well, it's still not confirmed if how to train your dragon is part of what inspired this movie, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was.
This was way better than i expected. Its like Pirates of the Caribbean and Godzilla had a love child.

Really gotta love how they made the kaiju sized creatures move as if they have a lot of weight behind each movement

@@kilz5752 Maybe. Honestly, I don't have how big she is, or if she's a fully grown adult. Also, the Skull crawlers aren't to big and yet they are still considered titans. If she was in the Mondterverse, then she might continue growing like Kong and Godzilla did. Heck, she could probably grow due to radiation if she fed on it like Godzilla. Honestly, I don't know.

Yo the animation is incredible and that fight was kinda cool
I feel like if red was alone the crab could've used it's mouth to chew on red when he caught her head with it's claws, even if red's skin is tough the Crab's mouth is full of sharp teeth that could be deadly if the crab decided to use them at the right time.
If they were alone red wouldn't have had to worry about hurting Maisie or anything else to worry about. And would have mopped the floor with the crab.

It has a better name than "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON" It was kinda really cool to watch it cheeky, funny,sea side animation ,story everything was on spot.

This movie is a good example that Hollywood could make a good animated movie of a film of giant monsters or a kaiju world like Godzilla or king kong & this scene is one of my favorite of the movie & this scene perfectly captures the size of these giant sea beast

I like how they were intimidating eachother like animals do in real life which was shoking for me since i haven't seen movie's do it.

Never forget that this creature was able to completely disappear in the ocean. There was no rock. No mountain. Nothing. Only the abyss. And this gigantic red creature hid entirely.

That’s where ur wrong lol. The crab would’ve never killed red or won. It just would’ve taken longer for red to get the upperhand. The worst the crab did was get a hold of red horn. As soon as red got 1 claw in her mouth it was over

I love this movie too, but i have one issue. The crab looks nice and the very first monster and also the monster with the tentacles looked pretty decent, but the red blaster was a little bit disappointing. It looks so blank. Wished it had a little bit more texture like more visible scales or something like that but besides that, the movie was awesome.
They designed it like that to appeal children and sell toys, the typical "smooth doughy and squeaky" clean look. It's funny because the original concept art would still sell to kids.
