agreed! its because of him ive been consistantly cooking again and keeping my kitchen clean too. ive been battling frequent depressive swings and its been hard. seeing he is a fellow stoner that still gets shit done, all the way down to the clean up part, theres no excuse for me not to as well. and watching him and seeing the awesome person he is and how happy he always is, has me being more productive than ever.
@Rich Young Please beware that both alcohol and weed are depressives. I have first hand experience that quitting will only help you feel better, try to lessen your intake as much as possible and work toward sobriety if you feel you can.

I put my rice in a strainer and run cold water over the rice. I wash it till the water draining is almost clear. then, I dump it in the pot and add water. Learned this from a Chef buddy.

You're an amazing chef, and as someone that has been watching shows like the ORIGINAL Iron Chef from Japan that aired on the Food Network back in the early 2000s, I've been into cooking ever since. Then RUclips and people like you came along. I can't tell you how grateful I am for these videos (and all the videos that you put out). I like the longer format ones so you can really get a good instructional video about how to replicate what you're doing properly. Thanks so very much for all the time and effort that you put into making these videos. They make me a better cook, and making other people happy with food that I've prepared makes me happy as well. This is such an amazing platform solely because of people like yourself. I can't tell you how glad I came across your channel many months ago. Hey Kev, how do you split your shoulder for freezing? I literally just did this last night, but I've been doing it in four thicker pieces and one is this raggy piece. I often smoke them (got one in the smoker now) but wanted to find something else to do with them, this was perfectly timed.

I discovered a great way to peal garlic and not have to get it on my hands. Just separate the cloves and put them in a small pot with a lid. Grab the pot and hold the lid on then shake the hell out of the pot and lid for about 30 seconds. When you take the lid off the garlic will be dislodged from the skin. Have no idea how or why this works, but it does.
