I LOVE THIS! Made them for my daughters for Christmas. One I converted to a notebook. I did the tool box for my husband. They are hung on the Christmas tree every year to be refilled. Now I have to make something for my daughter's fiance. Will convert to a gym bag for him! Thank you May May !!
This would be a good way to give someone the gift of your time. Say a few date coupons with maybe a few movie tickets to go see a movie together, and a coffee date... I think that would be super cute.
OMG Maymay How Cute and Adorable is your DIY Backpack gift card holder…..and brilliant ideas and Ingeniousity at its finest!! Girl you never cease to amaze with your Duper Fuper Ideas and “Oh What Fun It Is Too Maymay in her CRAFTABULOUS Way!! HEY!!! OH JINGLE BELLS 🔔. JINGLE BELLS 🔔”. Hey couldn’t help myself I Christmas shopped for 9 hours yesterday and today….successfully I have 16 people to shop for. I’ll be resuming Christmas shopping Monday….the head Santa..(my hubby Rudy Kazoo..a.k.a. Lyle) said no shopping tomorrow. Just play all day. HEY HEY HEY!!!!! OH I SHOPPED IN LINE!! Packages have already begun to arrive. Insanely fas service!!!! Joan 🤶 Christmas Gift 🎁 shopper Smith
Love this! Going to make this for my married daughter into a date night kit- a gift card for a couple of restaurants, movie, ice cream, Starbucks, cash for the sitter. We don’t live close so we can’t babysit but this way they can kinda of have a date night on us 😊
This is perfect for my teenager. I may not give them 6 gift cards, but it does give them a place to keep all the other cards they usually collect on Christmas morning
Enjoyed these tuts.. think they would be a great thank you from parties or weddings .. putting some pictures of the guests in them along with the thank you note
These would be awesome for helping kids give gifts of service (for a lack of a better turn). They could make cards for each slot that are coupons for doing the dishes one night, racking the leaves, washing the car..... such as that. Giant hugs too!
I'm going to make one of these for my grandson, and maybe a toolbox (if I can work it out!) for my son in law. What a wonderful timely project!! Love it so much 💞💞
This idea is what I am making for the guys in my family to take their GC’s home on Christmas Eve. I am making the purses for the girls in my family! Maymay, this was AWESOME and SO easy to replicate!
I love this one and the other one too. I would put gift cards and maybe tea packs in them. Or decrease the number of pockets to make it smaller. That way you need that many cards. Thanks so much for sharing this. I got tons of inspiration from this! God bless!
Iwill be making these for my teen grandkids. I will only be giving 1 gift card but I like having all the openings because they end up with multiple cards from both sides of the family. With this, theyy can keep them all together
I too would not give one person that many gift cards....but...I have received a gift card from more than one person and this would be a nice way to organize them and keep them together.
I’m doing these for my 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law and new granddaughter with a little “extra” added to their gifts. I’ve attached a ribbon for hanging on the tree along with adding 2022 to the front. I also just bought a Canon Selphy photo printer so I’m going to print copies of the pics we take on Christmas to place in them before they leave for home. This will be a keepsake for future years that will hold pics of Christmas 2022. It may be an annual decoration (of different styles) for future Christmas’s.
I can imagine this as a gift for your child's teacher with a gift card, post its, possibly a mini pen or pencil and a small treat like a mini candy bar. You might have to adjust the accordion to hold post it's. Or maybe gift card in outside pocket and post its on the inside?
At Christmas my husband gives each of the kids a bunch of gift cards, gas, fast food, coffee, etc, my job is to find a good presentation and this is perfect!
This is adorable. You could of done it in a Minnie/Mickey Mouse theme for kids! I am going to do backpacks next year for our grandkids and give them gift cards to buy their school supplies next year!
My granddaughter is having her baby shower next week. I’m going to make one with a gift card and some notes. Then she will have it to hold all the gift cards she receives at the shower in one place.
I’m so glad you did the backpack one. Going to give to teachers for Christmas. I like the other one too for myself as I have lots of gift cards in my purse floating around. Thanks again for such cute paper crafts.
Lasst year our daughter in-law asked for gift cards and a candle. I made a explosion box’s each flap had a gift card and in center was the candle. But I love this idea.
Maymay, This is so adorable. We always give our parents several different cards to restaurants & this or the purse would be a cute way to give it to them. Could you make a wallet for the guys in our lives?
Hi Maymay: Is there anyway you can make a Santa or an elf gift card holder? By the way, thanks for your super speedy service, my stuff is arriving Friday. I’ve made at least 10 of the snowman gift card holders, Father’s Day brief case ones and the purses, thanks for all your super fun ideas. I’m loving making them.
I love these! I would also like to see something for those gift "cards" that don't have actual plastic gift cards in them. For Example, my grandsons love Roblox and the gift card for them is just cardboard if you understand what I mean.
You could give someone a date night, a movie gift card, dinner card and one from an ice cream or dessert place along with little sentiments cards in between
Also... Certain gift cards have a limit on what can be added... My family gives a person X amt on 1 to 6 cards equal to what ONE card is limited to... i.e. 250 limit on Dollar General cards... my aunt broke it up between 3 cards for 1 person... secondly, these multi card holders make sense for folks that mail gifts... these multi card holders make sense if said sender lives too far to attend birthdays, christmas, etc. i.e. out of country and want to send a years worth for a person... my hubby is from England and we live in TN. he has no family here... they send gifts over for an entire year bc of the expense... these are perfect holders
How much would the measurements change if I had about 24 cards? My son has that many qualifications in card form for scuba diving and I'd love to make one to show them off.
Okay, so now you’ve shown me how to make a gift card purse for my daughter and a backpack for my grandsons. Now I need something for my son-in-love. What’s next? 😊

I found some mini prayer cards and mini inspirational cards that fit perfectly in these holders.

This is just the cutest!! My grandsons will love it.
These are adorable, now I need to receive 6 gift cards lol.

Can always use a gift card holder and love the multi-card holder.
Iwill be making these for my teen grandkids. I will only be giving 1 gift card but I like having all the openings because they end up with multiple cards from both sides of the family. With this, theyy can keep them all together
I always give each of my kids no less than 4 gift cards for Christmas. Also give them some cash so these are just perfect for me 😊 thank you May May!
I too would not give one person that many gift cards....but...I have received a gift card from more than one person and this would be a nice way to organize them and keep them together.
WOW that's so adorable!!!
These are absolutely adorable 🥰. Planning on doing this as a housewarming gift for my son with cards to home improvement and housewares stores.
Always clear instructions and not condescending about instructions. I appreciate that!
This would be good for storing gift cards that one receives.

Love this, I have 3 grandsons who would appreciate the backpack over the purse! Thank you!
My granddaughter is having her baby shower next week. I’m going to make one with a gift card and some notes. Then she will have it to hold all the gift cards she receives at the shower in one place.
