- Following the release of their 2022 album 'Wild Loneliness,' North Carolina's Superchunk join The Current to play a few songs from their new record, plus a familiar favorite. Frontman Mac McCaughan also joins Mary Lucia to talk about the band's early experiences playing in Minnesota, touring in pre-internet times, and his decision to lean into a more acoustic sound on this release.
