The fact that the legends arceus theme plays during the ursaluna battle is such a cool addition and makes it seem like kitakami and hisui connect so much more
As well as the Alpha theme when ypur close but not spotted b4 the fight which got my blood pumping

For those who don't know, Blood Moon is a 140 base power, 100% accurate, normal type move that works like gigaton hammer, in which it can't be used twice in a row. that combined with calm mind is DEVASTATING
Edit: It's stronger than I thought. Blood Moon Ursaluna's ability is absolutely broken. It allows normal type moves such as Blood Moon hit ghost types, prevents Ursaluna's accuracy from being lowered, and ignores any evasiveness boosts on the enemy.
Holy shit, no wonder it swept through his whole team
Plus you can't rely on ghost because of the ability
I guess the tactic would be a Flying type or Levitate pokemon that can also resist Blood Moon, so it would need to be Rock or Steel.
Sadly, there are only two such pokemon in S/V and the DLC pokedex - Bronzong and Corviknight. Altough Bronzong is a very good special wall.
I wonder if Skill Swap would work, since Bronzong can learn that. In that case you could use it and then use something like Drifblim or Mismagius and be totally immune to its attacks. But idk, i dont have high hopes lol.

Given that Perrin is a descendent of Adaman, and is here in Kitakami looking for 'Bloodmoon Beast' Ursaluna, we can get a somewhat definitive answer that Kitakami is located closer to Sinnoh (Plus possibly Johto, given the design of some of the buildings around the place & the inclusion of more Johto Pokemon like Yanma, Hoothoot, Sentret, Gligar, and more).

Raging Fury is the Fire type variant of Outrage that was introduced in PLA. It is only learned by Infernape and Hisuian Arcanine

Mikey with Perrin is exactly how I was with Adaman throughout the entirety of Legends Arceus 😂 We are clearly people with exquisite taste

Blood moon is so cool and the fact it's a special attacker is even better
As much as I love regular ursaluna, I wish this was the only ursaluna and ursaring could evolve into it. No hate to regular ursaluna, I don’t think it’s ugly and it is overall a strong Pokémon but the blood moon version is so dope looking.
Blood Moon ursaluna looks like normal ursaluna but dead, I love them both

Fun fact when flying around kitakami, instead of squawkabilly they employ noctowls which you can see when you fly to locations in the bottom right corner

And there are Hoothoot on top of Carmine and Kieran's house, a subtle parallel to the Squawkabilly on top of the player's house.
Fun fact: Hisuian Arcanine gets Rock Head so it can use Head Smash, Flare Blitz, and Wild Charge without recoil.

I usually go Double Edge instead of Wild Charge. That way you can run Tera Normal to get STAB on it as well as Extreme Speed

If your pokemon holds a Mirror Herb and has an empty move slot, you can start a picnic to give it any of its egg moves that a party member has (even if that party member wouldn't be a breeding partner)
For everyone that don’t know, if you press the right motion stick during a battle it triggers “the battle cam”. The camera will become more cinematic and move during the fight, for example zooming in on Pokémon when they enter the battle.

You seem to like the DLC as much as me, so here's a little tip for when you eventually replay it on you other game:
When you take pictures for Perrin during the Bloodmoon Beast Hunt, you can also take a picture of her Growlithe and she'll have special dialogue for this variable.
She'll also have something to say when you snap a few pictures of her (yes, a few - she has multiple lines for multiple pictures you take of her) - so if you're a filthy little Perrin Simp like me - don't forget to do that!

This really doesn't feel like a form or evolution or anything - it feels like Pokemon's take on Deviants / Variants from Monster Hunter, a single Pokemon who's gone through some very specific, traumatic experience and survived but become more powerful & adapted as a result. It's COOL as shit. I want more of these.
Now you bring it up, yeah it really seems a lot closer to a Variant than a different “form,” of a Pokémon. Really want to see what Gamefreak does with this concept in the future.

I feel like the Bloodmoon attack should have an effect that makes it act as if it was a Dark Type Move

Btw Mikey, if you press down left stick, your pokemon will stop moving when it is in the "let's go" mode active. Basically whenever it is doing auto battle or just thrown out with ZR

For the pokemon combatable, I transfer them to legends arceus for the evolutions. It's great

I bet that blood moon ursaluna slowly learned what he can and cannot learn and probably his aproximated stats Over the years he has been alone in the forest, so he's the only wild Pokémon that cannot be dumb
Man people say Nemona gives off yandre vibes, but Carmine is on a whole other level.
Carmine seems more tsundere, where she acts like she wants nothing to do with the player but secretly wants to be their friend. Nemona is pretty clear about her intentions, she really wants to battle someone stronger than her and won't take no for an answer.
I'm surprised they were able to make Cocaine Bear canon in Pokemon 😂

I never thought about using Topsy-Turvy on the Ursaluna after the calm minds, but that would work very well. If there was a pokemon that could learn it in SV
The Ursaluna fight was so hard! I beat it on my second try when I remembered I could use Gengar to curse it first turn and get consistent damage that way.
Dang, that battle with the Bloodmoon Ursaluna, was CRAZY!!!😬😬😬😬 I would fully understand you using your Paldea team to finish him off (in writing this, I haven't seen the end of the battle, so if he wins, then you all know what happened lol)

It is unbelievable!
The rock is probably a mixture of clays and other hydrological altered igneous rocks. Oni Mountain appears to be a dormant volcano, the rock formations being a result of the hydrothermal system causing chemical changes in the rock turning it altered clays. It's actually pretty remarkable how accurate the depiction in this game is.

I fought ursaluna i almost lost to it from all the bloodmoon attacks K.O. 4 members of my team and one was in the red luckily my chandelure took care of the rest. It gave me excitement once i heard the hisui battle theme fighting ursaluna.
Regarding the Tandemaus shiny...I ran into one quite by accident while training a new 'mon. I was wondering why my Chespin wasn't touching it, and bam. Could NOT tell the difference until I was in close. But I will happily take my little Squeak Squad shiny.
I seriously love the PLA reference in Perrin. What a fun tribute to that game.

For your info. Fixation is a mechanic in Legend Arceus that makes Outrage and Choice Items more versatile. While Fixation is active the current move does heightened damage, but using a new move causes reduced damage

28:58 If I recall correctly, Fixated in Legends: Arceus means that further uses of the move that is fixated on will do more damage but you also take more damage from opponents.
For the SV DLC they changed Raging Fury function like a suped up Fire type Thrash since the fixation thing wouldn't really work in normal Pokemon combat mechanics.
@@SwiftpawWolffox I know how it works for SV, it's shown in the video. Mikey just said he didn't understand the Legends: Arceus effect so I explained that. (Also 90% sure the move was in base SV because Arcanine.)
And Fixated is simply the Legends: Arceus version of moves that force successive use in other games, for both old and new moves. And Fixated was designed as an equivalent to that system for moves like it, including both old moves (like Rollout) and new moves. So it's less a change and more just the intent of the move being handled differently.

I like how the PLA Battle Pokémon! Theme plays while battling Ursuluna and the fact that Perrin has the same Ace as Adaman, it’s kinda cool

Blood Moon Ursaluna is amazing. I also caught a random shiny Heracross.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna has a ton of physical defense. The super effective fighting type move didn’t do much because of that. It uses calm mind to cover it's lower special defense, so if you start out by using a special attacker it'll be much more effective.
Fun fact: not only is Perrin Adaman's descendant but the common census is she's also Irida's descendant meaning those two got it on with each other to keep their bloodlines alive

@@minkusaurus sadly no but given the fact that legends arceus ends the main story with the two clans deciding to get along, it seems pretty dang likely that, that's the case and that those end up together, whether it's to keep the bloodline alive and it was begrudgingly or they realised that they had feelings for one another that's up for speculation, also there's a fan comic where Perrin meets Adaman and Irida so if you want I can supply you the link to that
I got super lucky with my Poltchageist. The first one I caught was an Artisan Form Poltchageist. I'm so glad I don't have to hunt for it now. Blood Moon Ursaluna is super cool! Might be one of my favorite Pokémon to come out of this DLC.
What really funny in the photo thing is that even if there’s small bit of the Pokémon showing it will still register.
