Actually for carbink, it rarely spawns in some caves, but it commonly spawns in an offshoot cave in the entrance hole of the summit cave
Was gonna say this. It’s like the only spawn there. Super easy to get if you know about that location.

As someone who loves that sense of discovery, finding that cave was great! Felt like it was just tucked away enough that not every player would find it. I wonder now if John has seen it. (He might have and just not associated carbink with it)
I remember finding the cave Mikey had trouble against the ogre clan member then I went down the cave to fall deeper then as I was falling I saw a sneaky cave entrance so I climbed back up and there it was a carbink cave then I fell deeper in the cave and landed on a feebas 😅
The pain of seeing John struggle to find a Spoink when there were a couple that spawned in the same area as the pile of Slugma in the previous round.
I know...when I saw Spoink pop up, I was like "Those are in the same area as the Slugma" cause I remember seeing quite a lot of them.
I think they gotta wait until the Indigo Disk for season 3 of the JMC. It will be so cool to see what new opportunities there are for fun challenges in the DLC.

Hope that John and Michael will play Ogre Oustin' for JMC S3. Play in the Hard difficulty and the most points at the end of the minigame wins
theyd have to make that some kind of 1 point challenge, no way that could be a whole video
They'd also get a free shiny Munchlax after beating it on the hardest difficulty if they haven't already done that.

A word of advice for John and anyone else if they are going to shiny hunt annihilape in the future:The shiny has purple hair with blue arms and legs.Also, I recommend you bring a ghost type because wild Annihilape have final gambit.

@heatherramirez6141 To be fair,It was my first time finding a shiny one while looking for a shiny dusclops, and It was on the first day of the dlc.I did redeem myself by finding another one afterwards and having my Ceruledge with me while I was trying to catch it.
Can relate. I lost both an Annihilape and Mankey in the dlc to final gambit because I never save before captures

It’s a stat alphabet challenge. But instead of BST you also generate a random stat, so you are looking for A with the highest speed stat and B might be Defense.

There is a better place to get Carbink. You know the cave you can find at the top of Oni Mountain by the Crystal Pool, before you fully fallen down there, there’s actually another little cave there that you can get to as long you were gliding down and that little place is where a lot of Carbink will be spawning there

Here’s a challenge idea for you;
Surprise Battle
You surprise trade 6 Pokémon out, whatever you get back, is your team.
If you get a repeat or a hacked Pokémon, you trade it back out until you get a new one.
If it’s a special item evo, like Gligar for example, if you have the full evo Pokémon in your box, you may use it.
Movesets, items, and abilities are your choice.
If you get a trade evo, you have to deal with the furthest you can go without trading it.
Unless the trade Evo pokemon got specifically traded to you and evolved.
And no legendaries just to make it interesting. (Paradox forms are okay though)
I basically do the same thing, but for Academy Ace Tournaments. Surpisingly really fun since anything can happen😂

mikey just angered the shiny gods, so they cursed him. now all of his shiny luck gets sent to john whenever they do a challenge.
the luck only comes back after john finds his first shiny of the video.

I was surprised John couldn't find Vullaby, cause that was one of the few Pokémon I did actually know the location of. But that's mostly cause I've spent a lot of time exploring Oni Mountain every time I've gone up there so far. Also when I saw Vullaby I remember thinking "Hmm makes sense this would be here" since it was in an area of the mountains where you can find a lot of Rare Bones, and it's a vulture baby. (Seriously though, you can find so many Rare Bones up there...nice way to make some cash).
Also I just fought a Quagsire in a raid. I think it was Fairy type. Someone brought a Clodsire to the raid which I thought was hilariously appropriate 😅

Just had an idea for future videos similar to this. Since John was struggling to find Pokémon. I think if a person participating in the challenge catches their Pokémon the person who has caught their Pokémon could catche the opponents Pokémon and receive double points for the round

There is an actual Carbink cave where only they spawn, where your nemesis Fighting Ogre Clan girl was, there is a side cave that you have to aim for to get to, Carbinks spawn there a lot.
I'd love to see this in a "then we battle" format. If you don't get your pokemon, your team has one less.
The stress I had watching two Poketubers not know about the carbink cave while finding out myself about a cave system I've NEVER SEEN BEFORE????

Fun story, i was trying to get a new pfp with the roto stick in paldea, but i did selfie mode instead. Turns out it was a blessing in disqicse. There was a shiny swablu behind me! It was charm, no sandwich. And it was marked! Swablu the cloud watcher. It was too fitting!

Mikey and John are each individually great RUclipsrs, but as a duo they’re just amazing
