"Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner would be next and its a pretty good movie on its own merits. Final Matt Damon movie is "Jason Bourne" and it's actually very good. At the very least you should react to that one.
Gotta do The Bourne Legacy. It wasn't popular amongst fans when it was released, but Renner does a great job in his own right; an entertaining flick for sure.
Someone put up a metal sign and posted it onto the Nixa, Missouri population sign. It read: "Home of David Webb". It was up there for awhile until the Missouri DOT found out and took it down. Missed marketing opportunity.
The shaky cam was a feature of these movies and started a trend in US cinema. If you're physically affected by motion sickness, try and sit further from the screen so your eyes don't need to move so much.
I hope you dont stop now. The last two are pretty good as well. You're right. The handheld shaking camera can really get the motion sickness going. Hated it myself, but the movies are very good.
The "Look at what they make you give" is the same line that Clive Owen's caracter said to him in the first movie, in the field where Bourne shot him. 1 and 3 are my favourites. For some reason, the camera movement in the 2nd one really bothered me.
I saw #2 in the theater and I had to walk out, I got so motion sick. Paul Greengrass is a lot of things but his style of "make it more intense by waving the camera madly" is something I can't stand.
I think the reason Nicki didn’t push talking about their past is because it was clear Jason still didn’t remember, so it would be pointless. So it was left up to the audience to decide what relationship they had before he lost his memory.
“Look at what they make you give” what he said to the man that was like him, sent to kill him is the same thing the hitman said to Jason in the first movie, in the field before died.
You should also watch the next 2 movies. The next one with Jeremy Renner is loosely related but still a good movie. the last one, Jason Bourne, takes you back to this storyline, including Nicky...
For another movie series that doesn't get enough action packed love is the Transporter 1-3. With Jason Statham. As stories are based in Europe they are not as popular here in the US
some comments might not recommend the final 2 movies of the 5 movie set, but I recently watched the 4th movie (it's with Jeremy Renner not Matt Damon) and think it's a decent film and worth watching to learn more about the entire Bourne Universe. The 5th and final movie is also worth watching and did a great job as a final wrap-up. Whatever you choose to do, glad you enjoyed the trilogy. These are definitely fun movies to watch.
Dont listen to anyone who says Bourne Legacy isnt good! Jeremy Renner (Avengers, The Town) is fantastic and Rachel Weisz is always great!! 🥰 LETS GOOO!! 💪😎💪
There are actually two more movies, both are stand alone. Bourne Legacy happens at the same time as this third movie. Legacy wasn't as bad as people say. They just wanted more Jason and it followed a different lead. And the last move made, Jason Bourne. It was ok too. Everyone agrees the first three movies were the best.
There are two more movies in the franchise. "The Bourne Legacy" (2012) is about a different character, same situation, not as good. "Jason Bourne" (2016) is the last chapter (to date) about Jason and Nicki, and it reveals more of Jason's/David's history. There are reports that a sequel is in the works. There was also "The Bourne Identity" TV miniseries from 1988 starring Richard Chamberlain and Jaclyn Smith. It was based on the same book but by a different screenwriter and director from the movies. There are similarities and differences between it and the movies. It's 185 minutes of screen time, but broadcast as two 2-hour episodes due to commercials. It was nominated for an Emmy award in the "Outstanding Miniseries" category.
Great reaction. After the first movie, I read the books. I actually did not read the second book; the references back mostly filled it in. The books are different. First, they changed the timeline. The first book was similar. But his back story Involved his family being strafed in the Vietnam War; this led to him joining Treadstone. The movies never mentioned it because this Borne is too young to have served in Vietnam. Another big change, Marie survived and they had children. I would like to know your nationality.
I also have pretty bad motion sickness. I can't even play a game under the unreal engine more than 30min without having to lie down. But the shaky cam, especially in the Jason Bourne movies, never really bothered me.
I feel exactly the same as you. I think "Bourne Identity" was the best, then the "Ultimatum" and then the "Supremacy". This series is probably my second favorite, of all time, next to "Band of Brothers". I love your reactions, keep them coming. I don't have anyone to movies with me, so you're my special friend who watches movies with me. Thanks. Tony, from Mississippi, USA.
I had the strange experience of seeing this movie first and then going back to see the first two. It was so confusing at first, but the flashbacks helped a lot
NSA stands for National Security Agency, an intelligence agency, like the CIA, but collects information from signals (phones, internet, radio, computer etc) as well as executing cyber warfare/security operations whereas the latter collects information from human sources (spies, agents, informants etc). Priority level 4, well it defines how important a person or person of interest or a mission/task is as to what degree of priority it requires over other missions/tasks. I'm not sure about the levels exactly. And personally I love Ultimatum the most, it's best in the entire trilogy. Legacy talks more about another operative of another similar program and the aftermath of said program after this whole Blackbriar thing blew up into the public. Jason Bourne (2016) dives deeper into Bourne's history and why he joined Treadstone.
Glad you liked it. Damon has a likable quality. See Courage Under Fire and even the raunchy teen comedy Eurotrip where he does a cameo as a gross punk rock singer. You’ll have a difficult time finding a movie where he didn’t stand out in some (good) way.
The way I heard the story Matt Damon got crossways with the director on the first one or didn't enjoy working with him or something and brought in a buddy of his to direct the last two. Then his buddy almost ruined the last two with his undying love of shaky cam.
I hope you do NOT watch "Saving Private Ryan" (1998). Although it has the best reenactment of D-Day ever put on film, there is a LOT of camera shaking. It gave me a headache, and I'm not prone to migraines.
This is what happens when you allow yourself to open up to a therapist about your childhood traumas and abuse… you release that bad juju and you become a BADASS operative 😂😂😂

All the sequels made so far put together aren't even close to the level of the Bourne Identity. They did have a romantic relationship. However, do remember that this, the third movie, took place only a few weeks after Marie's death, so there was no chance of a relationship so early again.

.This was such a great cap to this trilogy.Matt Damon really grew into this role. The shaking cam did bother another one of my favorite reactors but I get that even though it's like that, it's kinda a boy movie you girls stick with how tight and well made it is❤
They definitely used the shaky cam much more in the 2nd Bourne movie than the 1st, and even more so in the 3rd. While I really like all 3 of those movies, the increased use of shaky cam definitely bothered me. I thought they used just the right amount in the 1st movie, and when they started to use it more excessively it began to distract from the tension rather than enhance it.
Apparently the shaky camera is deliberately in there to give the quick cut scenes and make the fast paste action sequence's more realistic and chaotic.
I think it would've been a stronger ending if they'd stopped on the music "sting" and Nicky's smirk rather than also returning to Bourne/Webb in the water. Nicky's certainty is enough for the audience to know his fate.
I'll be honest I never really noticed the shaky cam until I started watching reaction videos...90% of reactors bring it up at least once. I notice it throughout the reaction video and it does seem excessive, but part of me thinks that's just a result of the choppy editing of reaction videos. Be interesting to see if I notice it more whenever I sit down to re-watch the trilogy again. That said, my ranking is Supremacy, Identity, Ultimatum. Supremacy has the best story and I like the scene where he visits Neski's daughter. I like Identity because of the mystery of finding out who Jason is at the same time he does. Ultimatum is only last because I don't like the subtly implied relationship with Nicky. I do not believe she would have been anywhere near Treadstone if she had a relationship with Bourne romantic or otherwise. That's just my opinion though.
It's interesting that the movies don't follow the book. In the book "The Bourne Identity" Webb takes on the name of Bourne to lure Carlos the Jackel out and eliminate him. It isn't a CIA black ops operation.
I think the over use of shaky cam annoys most people. Another thing that annoys me is the over use of chase sequences, especially car chases. For that reason I prefer the first installment, "The Bourne Identity."
Back around the 2000s, some weak directors used the shakey camera work to simulate as if a person was seeing the action in real life. Most viewers hated it, but some critics praised it as innovative. After a few years, they decided to listen to audiences instead of critics and went back to normal.
Yep we're going to continue this franchise because I am not done with this story! Thank you for following on the first three movies, I truly appreciate it!

Really hope you watch the final Bourne film called Jason Bourne (2016).
I hope Top Gun is before comic book character movies..but that's just me..i collected 45 rpm records instead of comics. Lol
You do not need to keep apologizing about shakey cam, or explain about your headaches. Not many people like shakey cam. ❤😀
This is not the last Jason Born movie with Mat Damon. I recommend to watch the last one called "Jason Bourne".
You’re doing top gun? I can’t wait
if their ability to track and capture information scares you, you should watch citizenfour, and then realise that information is over a decade old
There is a 4th movie @ Jason Bourne you find out why he chose to join black briar
