I've already solidified my 2023 planner stack BUT I would never miss an Amanda's Favorites Top 5 or any other video. I'm also religious about using your affiliates links and discount codes. Thanks Amanda for all the effort you put into these videos and all you do!
Thank you so much for including the Ashley Shelly Planner in this, Amanda! 💖🎉 I so appreciate you showing the details that make it special as well! What an awesome video to be a part of 😍😍😍
This is going to be my first year with a daily planner but I am trying out the sprouted planner! The weekend layouts have always been what held me back from daily planners and I really like the way they do theirs
The Sprouted Planner is my absolutely favorite company and planner since last October. The daily layout is just so flexible and the way the weekend is laid out really is a compromise for those who need space and those who don’t want to dedicate an entire page to a weekend day. I also think the monthly prompts are well thought and help you to really sit and take time to reflect on where your time and energy went and what you can do to center yourself for the following month. Highly recommend and Heather is such a sweet owner! ❤️🍃
I had been using passion planner weekly and just started using their daily planner as well. I thought daily planning was overkill at first but now I truly love having a clean fresh start each day, using my weekly passion planner as a reference for the big picture and my daily for detailed planning has been fun and a great stress reliever❤
I love hearing your favorite and how you use Passion Planner;) They have made it in several of my Top 5 Favorites videos...both Daily and Weekly. It really is such a great planner;)
I discovered the ShePlans daily sewn planner by watching your videos and I just got it, let me tell you I love everything about it, I even put my EC daily duo to the side. Thanks for reviewing these beautiful planners for us! Really enjoy your content!
Hi Amanda, I am excited to try the Ashley Shelly planner for 2023. I purchased the exact planner you showed here on RUclips on her launch date along with a few other things including your collaborative calendar. Thanks Amanda!
So honored to be in your Top Five! And loved listening to all your thoughts. Beyond grateful for the wonderful work you do sharing what's available to the planner world!
Amanda, it's so good to come across your channel again! I fell off watching a lot of planning channels in the height of the pandemic and am slowly coming back to all my favorite creators. Looking forward to seeing your Top 5 picks 😊
I know your top 5 take a lot of time and effort - appreciate them!! (I use a bloom daily planning PAD, personally. Because I like throwing it away every day and not having any undone items taunt me. 🤣)
Hi Amanda! Hooray!!! Each year, I wait for your Daily Planner recommendations! I'm so excited to see what you've picked!!!!! Happy Dance - and the dog is giving me the side-eye. She's used to this. 🙂
Sometimes I “stray” to other daily planners, but I always end up coming back to Planner Perfect. The paper in her planners (I believe it’s Strathmore) is amazing. Her leather planner covers are absolutely the best in my opinion!
I'm late getting to this one. These top five videos are some of my absolute favorites! The Sprouted Planner is so intriguing to me. I love the layout. You have the space for time blocking if you want it, but it doesn't take up half the page, and there is so much room and flexibility to do anything you want. She's created a great planner! If I move back into a daily, it will be one of the top ones I will look at for sure.
I’ve used the SOS Planner from Kayse Pratt at Anchored Women for several years. I love that there are numerous planner page options and if you tire of one, you can print out a different layout. It’s so flexible and I make it my own!
I don’t really do a daily planner. That said I have had an Ashley Shelley Daily (by mistake) and it was awesome-I loved the paper even though it was a little thinner. My daughter really loved the simplified daily she had two years ago.
Thank you for these review videos! I found the EC Duo through you last year and used your $10 off coupon during a sale so really got it at a good price so worth it for me, and it is the only planner I have used consistently ever! I love this planner as my daily functional planner and I am so happy that we can choose the A5 size now too. I have to say though I am being tempted by a few of these others too! 😀
Tulaxii is my absolute favorite you haven’t reviewed it yet but what I love about it is that you can customize it to fit ur everyday lifestyle needs it’s not prefilled
Always one of my favorite videos. Couldn’t wait to see your picks. You always make me want to buy like all of the planners. 😂 I went with Ashley Shelly for 2023. I cannot wait to try it. A little worried that I might miss my typical fave, but I also watched those planner commitment videos and I am trying to stay strong. I’m also using Makselife and Cultivate What Matters just to see which one works best for me. Would love to try She Plans sewn planners at some point.
I love hearing what you are going to use in 2023. You've got a great lineup there! and testing both Powersheets & Makselife will be a fun year;) I hope you enjoy your Ashley Shelly too!
Watching watching watching planners videos for a week from many! Love love love ❤️ planners from my first Franklin Day Planner in 6th grade (a Franklin employee in the fam) from Franklin, Erin Condren, Agenda 52, Happy Planner, Daytimer, to the onesies & twoies purchased from Walmart, Target & office supply stores! I just purchased 2 kit life planners a daily & weekly sooooo excited! I’m one who like 1 planner 2 max, I need work, side hustle, home, tracking, wellness etc in one book maybe 2 (well mostly 2 because one usually just doesn’t have the room!) thank you for the videos used your affiliate link and code so excited to give kitlife a go I feel like their pages and tracking will work for me! ❤
I'd love to watch more variety in planners than just coiled and book bound, as: with discs, with rings, TNs, from regular shops in US and other countries as Michael's, etc. and printables from independent small online shops. Maybe you could make a series of videos from this idea💡
Great video! I'm don't use a formal daily planner. I love the flexibility of a notebook/journal like you. I still enjoy watching to see what's out there!
Great video. I am currently trying to determine what layout would work best for me but I wish that the planners had budget planning pages as well. I am currently using "The Budget Mom" live rich planner and I love it. I really wanted to get the Budget by Paycheck Planner by The Budget Mom, but this year she only did a digital undated version (yes can be used again and again) but I do not want the hassle of printing out pages every month. I think you would really like her lay out in the "live rich planner" as it ticks a LOT of boxes. Personnally my favourites from your list were/are the undated planners because I like the option of either a Monday or a Sunday start to the week. Again, thanks for the video...:)
Hi Nancy:) Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts and what planners you have loved. I have a "budget Planners" playlist...but most planners don't have a budget section unless you do ring bound or discbound and build your own:) I did review the budget mom planner- but only in an IGTV a year or 2 ago on Instagram. I think it's a great planner!
Yay top 5s time :-) I had already chosen my 2023 setup by the time you did the ShePlans video, but I am sooooo tempted to give it a try. That daily is just fantastic.
I journal daily in Planner Perfect. From your video my favorites are the Kit Life (I love the colors on the page), the Productivity Planner is very unique & I like She Plans. Currently I use a weekly Simplified planner.
Thank you for sharing! I’ve had the kit life weekly and daily and loved them both! I currently have 2023 powersheets and Erin condren weekly and I know for a fact I don’t need anything else! I’m so excited about this set up! This will keep me so busy! But I am so tempted to get another kitlife planner. Just because it is so beautiful! I’m also interested in amplify and sprouted planner but we’ll see! Thanks again, for such a great review!
You are so welcome Kristen:) I am so happy to hear you have loved Kitlife:) And your Powersheets & EC sound like a solid line up! But I understand the temptation because there are just so many good planners out there!
Oh how I love your favorites videos! This will be the first time in 29 years that I haven't set up my Franklin Covey planner but I want to change. I already use PP and love it but I want something more like a true daily so I think I'm going to order Sprouted for 2023! You did a great review of it and I really liked it's layout. Thanks so much! 🥰
I love your top 5 videos! I chose Simplified for the third year. There are so many planners that I want to try, especially the Ashley Shelly one, sincd I loved her weekly so much, and I love her new colors. But since I changed my weekly this year I decided to stick with what I know is working for me for the daily.
Just ordered the kitlife daily planner. Thank you for your review video and helping me find a planner I will love! I used your review for my last planner as well. :)
Amanda , from TJMAXX, I purchased an amazing planner !! Firstly, it’s a full length planner but slimmed width approx 6x10” Secondly , it’s paper quality is beautiful to write on and the colors throughout are just perfect !!! Also it’s metal type rings not binding. The cover is denim type light blue maybe linen but it’s not cardboard or mole skin It’s a fabric type … Sadly , I’ve misplaced my planner!! I don’t know the maker. I’ve asked many people at TJ MAXX stores I’m hoping you can help me since you are somebody who reviews planners maybe you might’ve come across I cannot find anything like it anywhere Thx for your time 😊
Hi Lori, I am so sorry I haven't been in a TJ MAXX in probably 20 years! I don't know which planner this is:( I am sorry I'm no help here. I hope you find it!
Thank you sooo much I think it’s a 5or6 by 11 inch ( if any one happens to read this ) But this journey has me amazed at all the planners and options and how many different types each individual person has…
Although I love a different paper then you I love watching your videos! I’m actually trying a new She Plans for meal planning in 2023! Thanks for all your efforts!
I think you forgot about the SNAFU at the 2023 EC launch where they put the blank page at the end of the week for the review copies, but left it out of the main run!
Amplify planner continues to be my go to! Definitely recommend for moms or dads with kid(s) who have activities and different schedules to keep track of. For work I'm really interested in the daily duo. Because of hipaa I have to separate home and work. I hope there's good black Friday sales!
Simplified changed their weekend layout for mid year release. No suggested items and full vertical for Sat and Sunday. I think it solved a bunch of issues.
So many great planners out there! Maybe next year you should do your "TOP 10" hehe.... My favorites are Ashley Shelly & KIT Life, not far behind is Simplified because of it's gorgeous covers. Hey, and sometimes I find joy in just using a notebook :) I look forward to this series every year! 💙
Currently I have been using the Whitney English Undated Daily planner and it really is awesome! I'm thinking maybe next year to get the ShePlans Daily again though, now that they're back with the sewn books. When I used them before, I really found the best size and style.
I don't have a daily planner but I'm ordering 2 (spourted and simplified) that you mentioned to see if I like daily over weekly planners. Currently, I'm using the Erin Condren weekly planner in the hourly layout. It's great for an overview but I think that I would like having a to do section for each day as well.
I love my ec daily duo for work and my Planner Perfect for truly creating a day of intentional living. I’d love to try all these others but a girls gotta choose.
Hi Amanda. Long time watcher, first time commenter. I recently saw that Kitlife Planners will be print yourself this next year. I have ADHD and have used Kitlife for years now to keep me on track. It has become a valuable part of my life. I don't have a printer and am not especially motivated to put something together myself. I'm a get it and use it kind of gal. What daily planner do you think is closest to Kitlife in page concept and usefulness? It's the Daily I use, not the weekly. Thank you for your reviews. They help so much!
Hi:) I understand all those feelings. Most daily planners have close to half the page for your times schedule. I can't think of one that I have reviewed that is on a coil that is close to kitlife:( Hemlock & Oak gives you more list room but is bound and Whitney English gives you more list room too. I personally would just use a notebook (like a good EC one)! And have to date my pages and make it what you need everyday...but I know that's not what you were looking for. I am sorry I don't have one that's a perfect fit to tell you! I am sure there is one closer out there...but I haven't reviewed it and don't know about it.
@@AmandasFavorites Thank you though! You gave me some ideas! I had already thought that I just might use a good notebook, one I could adjust myself and that might be what I do. But I'm going to go look at your suggestions and I appreciate them and you so much!
I love the Erin Condren Daily Duo planner, but I am looking for something more affordable this year. Another great video I have a couple on my list now to narrow it down to. 🧐😄
Oh, good! I am so glad you found some that might work for you and be budget friendly;) FYI Erin Condren is site wide 30% OFF today. Not sure if you will see this in time. It's one day only!
The JMB journal/planner really spoke to me! It looks beautiful, and I think the prompts will be helpful with my journaling; blank pages are sometimes paralyzing. I just ordered the 4 discounted 2021 journals to re-date and use next year (I used your code 🙂). Too good of a deal to pass up! Not sure yet if I will use it for just wellness/journaling, or also as a planner. If anyone has any sticker recommendations for re-dating the monthly and daily pages, I would appreciate it! Not sure on sizing since the pages are large. Thanks for your great review, Amanda!
I’m not a daily kind of planner although I did try using a daily from plum paper last year 😅. I appreciated the video anyway because I’m always curious what is out there. I wonder if there are other undated daily planning notepads, or something a little less formal? I tend to need a daily planner sporadically, not everyday.
Hi Natalie:) There are a lot of daily notepad options out there. Some off the top of my head are Erin Condren, Plum Paper, Bloom Planners (I haven't reviewed them), Ink + Volt, Sprouted planner...All of those have daily notepad options. I hope that helps! I love to use a blank notebook as my daily planner and just date the top. That leaves it open to allow me to use the page as I need each day. I know that is not for everyone...but just an idea. Thanks for watching and taking time to share;)
Thank you so much for a great stack of planner choices! I am using Planner Perfect for sure! Not sure if I will is anything else but may try She Plans!
I have a budget planners playlist with a good line up:) And I don't have left-handers suggestions bc I am right handed...sorry I can't help there. Thanks for watching!
They have the year at a glace in most of them (not Planner Perfect or JMB living....but that is just the tiny calendars looking at the entire year on a page or 2 at once...is that what you meant?
i will be using the daily plus monthly day designer that i re dated because i could not find it for 2023 so i bought it on price cut and just re dated still cheaper than if i would of got a 2023 dated one from another company.
I haven't reviewed that one yet- but I have it on my list for this next year to hopefully get and review. I have seen a lot of Instagram ads for that one;) I do have an updated Top 5 Daily planners for 2024 up on my channel too:) Happy New Year!
Your video popped up on my feed and I'm happy it did. Great informative video, and I learned about some new (to me) planners. I am currently using the She's In Her Apron planner which is working great for my adhd brain, but now I have some others to look at before I purchase my 2023 planner. Thank you!
Welcome Trish:) I have reviewed She's in her Apron and It's a great planner;) But it's always good to know all the options! Thanks for watching and chiming in:)
I have heard more than one person say they don't love the wire-o binding. I personally haven't ever had problems with the ones I've used from brands I love. But I know they can have issues- especially if you need to move them in and out of a bag daily:)
You mean without any time line at all on the daily page? Plum Paper has one with blank times you fill in, so does Makselife & Ashley Shelly. They have spaces to full in the the time slots but no times filled in. Other than that I recommend a notebook for your daily if you don't need a timed schedule place. That's what I use;) I have a whole video on my favorite notebooks for my daily list: bit.ly/3qpuDSA Hope that helps some:)
I just got your video recommended by YT and I was enjoying it until I realized that all your recommendations are either affiliate or have a discount code. Nothing against that, it's fine to have some affiliate codes but when 100% of what you recommend has a discount code my inner side doesn't trust it, you have nice content though. Anyways, have a nice day.
I respect your opinion. I share and use many things (here and on IG) that have no code or affiliate link. Many codes I don't make any money from. I can't put hours into my content here without making some money. If that doesn't resonate with you I understand;)
Daily Planners are many times lacking in extra pages...but a notebook is always my fave and that is why:) A few of these have an extra page for each week. Thanks for taking time to watch and share your thoughts;)
Thank you for watching:) Share your favorite Daily Planner with me in the comments!
I've already solidified my 2023 planner stack BUT I would never miss an Amanda's Favorites Top 5 or any other video. I'm also religious about using your affiliates links and discount codes. Thanks Amanda for all the effort you put into these videos and all you do!
Awwwwww, Michelle:) Thank you so very much for all your kindness and support! I would love to hear your stack;)
Thank you so much for including the Ashley Shelly Planner in this, Amanda! 💖🎉 I so appreciate you showing the details that make it special as well! What an awesome video to be a part of 😍😍😍
You are so welcome! Love that several commenters have said they already picked up your planner for 2023!
These top 5 videos always feel like an early Christmas present ❤️ I find them so relaxing, and of course helpful!
Okay this was the nicest compliment:) Thank you!
I cannot say enough great things about She Plans. I am so happy they are back with the sewn quarterlies.
Hey Karen:) I LOVE this testimonial for ShePlans! I know Andrea the owner will love seeing this:) Thanks for watching and taking time to chat:)
This is going to be my first year with a daily planner but I am trying out the sprouted planner! The weekend layouts have always been what held me back from daily planners and I really like the way they do theirs

Oh, this makes me very happy to hear! I hope She Plans serves you well:) Thanks for taking time to share how much you love it already:)
Hi Amanda, I am excited to try the Ashley Shelly planner for 2023. I purchased the exact planner you showed here on RUclips on her launch date along with a few other things including your collaborative calendar. Thanks Amanda!

Thanks for saying "hi" Kimberlee:) I love making my Top 5 Videos each year;)
Absolutely LOVE your reviews and this did not disappoint. Thank you for the indepth review and personal touches. I look forward to these ALL year. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much RuthAnne. This truly means so much to me to hear:)
I know your top 5 take a lot of time and effort - appreciate them!! (I use a bloom daily planning PAD, personally. Because I like throwing it away every day and not having any undone items taunt me. 🤣)
LOVE IT:) Lol! I understand why a pad instead of a planner;) And that you for the kind words about my Top 5 videos. They are a labor of love!
Hi Amanda, I ordered the daily Ashley Shelly based on your video. It arrived today and is gorgeous! Thank you for your video❤️
Oh, yay! I am glad you are already happy with your purchase:)
Hi Amanda! Hooray!!! Each year, I wait for your Daily Planner recommendations! I'm so excited to see what you've picked!!!!! Happy Dance - and the dog is giving me the side-eye. She's used to this. 🙂
Awwwww, Thank you! This makes me so happy we you are excited for this video and it's helpful!
You make a great point about these being hidden gems!
Oh, good:) I am glad you agree;)
I have Sprouted for 2023. SO excited! The versatility in the layout sections, the half hour times and the weekends with all the same time slots is 👌
Thanks for sharing what you love about Sprouted Daily:) I hope it serves you well in 2023 & you enjoy it too:)
Sometimes I “stray” to other daily planners, but I always end up coming back to Planner Perfect. The paper in her planners (I believe it’s Strathmore) is amazing. Her leather planner covers are absolutely the best in my opinion!

I agree the Sprouted layout is different and leaves a lot of flexibility! And it's one of the more affordable ones;)

I love hearing what caught your eye in this video:) Thanks for taking time to chat and watch:) I love hearing you enjoy Planner Perfect also;)
Thanks Amanda - always love these videos. They help me affirm or re-affirm my planner choices!
Oh, good! I love hearing that:)
Thank you for sharing! I’ve had the kit life weekly and daily and loved them both! I currently have 2023 powersheets and Erin condren weekly and I know for a fact I don’t need anything else! I’m so excited about this set up! This will keep me so busy!

Just ordered the kitlife daily planner. Thank you for your review video and helping me find a planner I will love! I used your review for my last planner as well. :)
Glad it was helpful! I hope your kitlife serves you well and you enjoy your time in it;)
Thank you I'm watching your videos time by time and find them very helpful!
Thank you so much:)

Thank you for including Erin Condren in this video Amanda! XX
Of course! There is no way I couldn't include Erin Condren:)
Great, detailed video Amanda. I'm not a daily planner and I still enjoyed this comparison video.
Thank you Karen:) That is a great compliment!
Yay! My favorite video of the year is here!
Awwwwwww! I am smiling from ear to ear:) I hope you enjoyed it!
I think you forgot about the SNAFU at the 2023 EC launch where they put the blank page at the end of the week for the review copies, but left it out of the main run!
You are right!!!! I remember that now!
Love to see new planners. I've used Passionate Penny planner and love it!!
I've heard from several who use that planner and enjoy it;) Thanks for sharing;) I haven't reviewed it yet!
Amplify planner continues to be my go to! Definitely recommend for moms or dads with kid(s) who have activities and different schedules to keep track of. For work I'm really interested in the daily duo. Because of hipaa I have to separate home and work. I hope there's good black Friday sales!
What a great testimonial for Amplify:) Thanks for sharing why you need to separate work/home....Daily Duo is a good one too of course!
Great planner reviews! All of them were unique and each had great features!
Thank you:) I am so glad it was helpful:)
Yay! I love these top 5 videos!!
Thank you so much!
Simplified changed their weekend layout for mid year release. No suggested items and full vertical for Sat and Sunday. I think it solved a bunch of issues.
I agree Amanda:) Great changes by Simplified! Thanks for watching and taking time to chime in!
I think your "Top 10" idea is a good one...it's really hard to decide what is actually in the Top 5 each year! And I love hearing your faves Vickie:)
Currently I have been using the Whitney English Undated Daily planner and it really is awesome! I'm thinking maybe next year to get the ShePlans Daily again though, now that they're back with the sewn books. When I used them before, I really found the best size and style.
People who used the sewn books before are so glad they are back:) Thanks for sharing what you are using now- that's a good one too!
Gotcha:) That makes sense to me! Thanks for taking time to share what you are trying out and using:)
My top 4:
Passion planner
Clever fix
Erin Condren daily duo
Passport sized travelers notebook
:) thanks for sharing!
LOVE hearing your faves! Passion Planner has been in my Top 5 Daily more than once:) Clever Fox has some great dailies! Love the TN too.
My faves are Hobonichi cousin and the penny pages “be productive” daily ❤
I haven't heard of penny pages...will have to check it out;)
Great choices! Using a daily from Plum Paper through April of '23 currently.
Plum Paper was in my video last year:)
I love my ec daily duo for work and my Planner Perfect for truly creating a day of intentional living.
I’d love to try all these others but a girls gotta choose.
Love hearing your faves and how you use them together:) It is hard to choose...but you've got a great line up!
I'm trying Ashley Shelly's daily next year. I can't wait to tryi it out. 😁😁
Love hearing that Jennifer. I hope the layout works well for you:)
Great idea on re-dating the journals. I don't know about stickers for that...but maybe someone that does know will read this:) Enjoy using them:)
I love how Planner Perfect has been such a constant for you too:) It's so comforting:)
MY Favorite ones are The Back to Basics Planner by Design Your Life Planner ?
Thanks for sharing that:) I will check them out!
I love my Daily Duo!
Oh, awesome! Love hearing that;)
Can u do a light weight planner video
That is a great idea;) I will keep that in mind for next year;)
recommendations for left handers/budgeting? :)) love ur videos!!!
I have a budget planners playlist with a good line up:) And I don't have left-handers suggestions bc I am right handed...sorry I can't help there. Thanks for watching!
Do any of these have an annual look at the year anywhere in there? I really can’t find one that does that for holiday and annual planning
They have the year at a glace in most of them (not Planner Perfect or JMB living....but that is just the tiny calendars looking at the entire year on a page or 2 at once...is that what you meant?
Please look up a company called passionate Penny pincher. She has a home planner and a student planner. I would love to see your review.
I have seen them:) thanks for letting me know you want a review on them:)
Love the she plan quarterly....
Thanks for watching and chiming in your fave:) That's such a good layout;)
i will be using the daily plus monthly day designer that i re dated because i could not find it for 2023 so i bought it on price cut and just re dated still cheaper than if i would of got a 2023 dated one from another company.
Great idea! Thanks for taking time to watch and share what you will be using;)
What about the colobri planner? Have u reviewed?
I eliminate all wire planners, they seem to all eventually fall apart, I’m a coil girl all the way 😀
I have heard more than one person say they don't love the wire-o binding. I personally haven't ever had problems with the ones I've used from brands I love. But I know they can have issues- especially if you need to move them in and out of a bag daily:)
So many good ones
Thank you for watching:) I am glad it was helpful!
Wow. You read my mind. First comment 😊
Yay! Thanks for watching and being the first comment:)
I don’t like lower case letters on months
It should always be capitalized
Thanks for watching and chiming in;) It's good to know what we can deal with and what we cant.
Is there a daily u recommend without time stamps?
You mean without any time line at all on the daily page? Plum Paper has one with blank times you fill in, so does Makselife & Ashley Shelly. They have spaces to full in the the time slots but no times filled in. Other than that I recommend a notebook for your daily if you don't need a timed schedule place. That's what I use;) I have a whole video on my favorite notebooks for my daily list: bit.ly/3qpuDSA Hope that helps some:)
Yes! Thanks!
I got the Kit planner, it's heavy.
I think it's around the same weight as most daily planners. Those can bu chunky bc of how many pages are in them!
Needs to say in the description that this is focused on women
I will take that into consideration. Thanks for watching.
Most of these planners don't have brain dump pages :(
Daily Planners are many times lacking in extra pages...but a notebook is always my fave and that is why:) A few of these have an extra page for each week. Thanks for taking time to watch and share your thoughts;)
