I’m a big powersheets fan and just bought my powersheets for 2022. They help me really slow down and make me think about my goals and what I want to accomplish for the year. Over the past several years of using powersheets, I’ve learned how to gauge what goals are too big or not realistic, so that I can experience success and still move forward with my goals.
Thank you for sharing your experience Natalie. I think that is a really valuable lesson that we all have had problems with before. Powersheets are a great tool:)
What I like about Powersheets is that they have you step back and focus on the big picture. I know Sierra from Makse's point is that you want those integrated into your daily planning. But, for me, there is something about physically separating them which helps me breathe and shift perspectives. I like and have used them both- just prefer Makse for granular to-dos rather than the broad overview...if I am making sense??
See I'm the opposite because it's seperate I don't use it or integrate it into my life. I guess planners are like ice cream if we all liked the same thing Vanilla would be the only flavor ice cream.
I have used Powersheets for the past 2 years and enjoy the prep work and thinking through the big picture. The idea to consider what I will look back on when I’m 80 yrs old has really helped me shift my perspective on what really matters to me. How powerful that thought can be! I felt on the fence about Powersheets for this year though, wondering if I still need it. I got it anyway and look forward to using it, but enjoy your video so much so that I can consider some of these other options in the future! Thank you!
Enjoy your Powersheets for 2022...and having a list for 2023 isn't bad either:) We are planners after all:) Powersheets are a wonderful tool if you stick with them. Even the prep work on it's own is valuable:)
I still have two Makselife undated companion notebooks from this year to carry me into next. It was my first year using that system after Powersheets and I liked that the prep work was a little less focused on personal excavation and brainstorming and more about prioritizing and accountability. That it's undated was a relief when things kind of went off the rails partway through the year and I had to hit pause on some of my goals.
Aw, thank you:) I don't really have a complicated system myself because I am a functional planner. I will try to include details on mine in my 2022 Stack video coming the first week in January:) I do have a video called "3 views" just type that into my channel search bar or find it under my 2021 planning updates playlist. That video as well as my quarterly planning updates might help you with that question too:)
Another super helpful video! Thanks so much, Amanda! I did love the prep work in PowerSheets last year, but I think I'm going to just go with the EC petite goal planner this year. Something small to check in with, but nothing too overwhelming. I also am so interested in Makse Life. I just can't tear myself away from Erin Condren.
Hey Kristy:) Thanks for taking time to chat...I really like hearing what you have used and your plans for this year:) I think the EC is perfect for what you want this year;)
I use a happy dashboard planner i love it for weekly to dos and goals but i have a hard time with committing to longer term goals in it. Like if you were doing monthly goals or quarterly etc
I hear you:) I think the long term goals are the ones we really have to come up with a system that works for each of us- and it can vary so much from person to person:)
This is my second year using inkwell press goals planner. I love it, i just wish it came in the half letter size. These goal sheets are the only discbound inserts i use in this size.
Aww man! It’s not half letter size?!? What?? That’s so disappointing! I was so excited to try inkwell press after this video but now I’m having second thoughts.
Goal planners I see as helping you focus on, check in on, track and be accountable for things you want to accomplish. Productivity I see as something most any agenda will help with...a weekly or daily planner where you prioritize your tasks and your time. That's just my take. Some combine the two like Makselife, Passion Planner, unbound....
Great video Amanda! So helpful and informative to help up make decisions! I am so excited to hear you will be doing a video on your favourite notebooks! I adore notebooks and cannot wait to see that video!! xx
@@AmandasFavorites I am putting in an order today for some EC notebooks through your affiliate link so I cannot wait to get them as I know you love them so much ❤
Thanks for this Top 5! I've narrowed down my 2022 planner choice to Makse and giving Erin Condren another go. I'll be sure to use your affiliate link when I make my purchase this week or next. Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving ❤😊🦃
I am so glad the videos have helped Cassandra:) And thank you so much for using my affiliate links:) We had a nice holiday...I hope you did too:) So many things to be thankful for:)
I have a whole budget planners playlist and I am reviewing another one from Jordan page coming up in July:) Good luck! Let me know if you can't find the Budget Planners playlist;)
Enjoyed the video! Love your top favorite videos! I used last year both MäksēLife and Powersheets.. which probably was too much at once, I am using this year Powersheets as I loved the prep work so much! Personally I don’t find it overwhelming at all! Since I’m using the Planner Perfect method I feel after doing the PS prep and tending lists, I can script them into my days and the two systems will hopefully combine well for me, that’s my hope! 🤞🏼☺️
Your top 5 series are my favorite!!
Thank you so much Eva:)

Thanks for sharing your perspective and how they each work differently for you. I love hearing how and what each person needs to goal plan.
Good point:) We are all so different! And I feel like I even change in what I need in each season of my life and as my kids grow my life changes.
Well said.

Love that you saved those and can use them still! I liked how you summed up the prep work on each...very good description.

I will note that idea for next year:) I am not sure i have reviewed enough of those to make a good Top 5. But it's a great idea;)
I’m obsessed with your planner videos!! Please do a youbtube of how you keep up with planners??

Are goal and productivity planners the same or similar? I'm trying to choose the right one for a business owner.

I just did a review on that one this year:) It is up on my channel. Thanks for sharing that is one of your faves;)
The unbound planner is intriguing.Wish it was coiled.
