    Hey Rory, thanks for doing these videos. It really helps to know how to break down new equipment the right way, in high definition. Legitimately. When I need to break stuff down for anodizing, I've been able to rely on your videos to help get me through it the first time. So thanks for that!

    Love my Fossil Lv 1.6! Such a smooth shooter. I have a Geo 4 and still love my LV. I own like 5 old egos so that could be why too :)

    Never realized exactly how similar these are to my etek 5, I knew it was just the internals, but its basically the same marker, maybe LV has a softer shot but thats about it. I do like how they give the shaft kit and carbon tip, but I use my freak kit with carbon tip with my etek 5, I assume similar accuracy

      everything about the LV is better, don't fool yourself lol....

      @@Sokom638 explain to me what exactly justifies 3x the price. I didn't say the etek 5 was better. I just said the value of the etek 5 is unmatched compared to the LV series. Like I said before, softer shot, quieter sound. Doesn't justify x3 the price. You can guess why they discontinued the etek 5 so fast, they were losing sales on the LV's because they are so similar at a fraction of the cost.

      for 1600 I can have a rotor, etek 5, carbon fiber freak barrel, and carbon fiber tank.
      for 1600 you can have an LV, a gravity hopper, rental hpa tank, and stock barrel

      @stogie0608 2 года назад +1

      @@Sokom638 I still have my Etek 3 I bought when I was released and a cs2 I got 2 years ago. They both shoot accurate, none better than the other. I spent 1600 on a CS2 for all its bells and whistles, tool less disassembly, no wires on the eyes, soft shot and can handle the most fragile paint. You are right This LV1.6 seems too similar to an Etek 5, nothing really revolutionary for it to price tag 1,400. It still uses cables for the eyes and you have to remove screws to reach the battery and eye covers ? PE needs to make these cheaper considering they’re still using old tech in them.

      Mr wood has already said there are no plans for an LV2 because people don't buy poppets that much anymore. Sure they sold out of the 1.6 but the R&D to give it all the CS2 Pro quality of life improvements would be astronomical and likely never pay off. If you want a nice high end poppit go ahead and grab the 1.6. I had one and a cs2 pro side by side and honestly there is no coparison. The CS2 PRO has the advantage is everyway including simplicity, ease of use, cleaning, and assembly.

    • @proto-t7k
      @proto-t7k 3 года назад +1

      @@ryanking5262 this is sad and true at the same time. I feel like all of the R&D that went into the CS2 PRO can easily be applied to the LV1.6 to make it the LV2. simply add the same type of tool less grip removal, wire free connection from grip frame to body, get rid of the AT pipe, and the other few quality of life improvements that PE has already developed. Is there no market for poppets anymore? maybe. If there is still a market for poppet markers then PE has the advantage being the only company still producing tournament level poppet markers. I'm sure the LV2 will come about eventually I just think they are nearing perfection on the technology that are in these paintball markers which is why most companies stopped releasing markers every year like they did 2004-2011. the only few improvements left need to be spaced apart to maintain something to keep the customers buying new markers. the fact of the matter is if you purchased a high-end marker after 2015 it will be hard to convince yourself to upgrade when it is already near the max potential for what is possible in making a marker perfect.
