Pre-order your Planet Eclipse Lv1.6 at:
punisherspb.co...
Waiting for the lv2 and getting rid of the air transfer tube.
I like the AT pipe. Lets me lower my grip without losing stability.
Not worth the price tag
Solid review. You missed out on a lot of good information on the LV design and the new solenoid's back story and reasoning. That kind of information would have really made this a good video.
Bought one at wcppl...it's incredible.
Yes.. yes they are!
Better efficiency on the Gamma Core but it is still more than enough to get players through a long game.
Willis Woods Very true!
Are you guys taking preorders of the LV 1.6?
Yes we are Doug! You can access them here: punisherspb.com/collections/planet-eclipse-lv1-6-paintball-gun
Come on Doug, should have got on the pre-order earlier.
Can't wait to see the efficiency of this when I put my 90 on there
Did the 77 have the shims taken out for lower pressure? Just wondering in case more shots will be squeezed out if they weren’t in there
Hehrjrnd Wheufnee output pressure on the tank should have been around 500
Tank output pressure has zero bearing on efficiency.
@@axledog7297 Yup
Kirk you’re famous
What do you do after signs of drop-off?
i would like to see planet eclipse LV 2 without the hose just like geo' 4 and cs2 and pro :)
Ronaldo Agsalud we would too!
I'm struggling... Geo 4, LV1.6, or CS2? Money not a factor, which do your choose??
@@xD12xSiCkNaStY with that logic you should just get an Etha 2. Or get two Ethas for the price of 1 170R
@@xD12xSiCkNaStY the Etha doesn't shoot like the LV1.6 just like the Cs2 & 170R don't shoot like the 1.6. Yes you can buy Etha 2s all day long new.
@@xD12xSiCkNaStY how am I missing the point? You said 170R instead of a high end marker. I said Etha 2 to save even more because the Etha is the same as the 170 minus the metal body and the screen.
For the price of one 170 you could have a main Etha & a back up one.
@@xD12xSiCkNaStY are you stupid? I don't get you at all.
All if money not a factor.
Can I upgrade my silinoid on my lv1 first Gen
Unfortunately no, this new solenoid only fits in the LV 1.6
I know its all preferences but I'm lucky, so far no issues with my first gen lv1 the more I shoot it the better it shoots.
Soon I'll be in the market for a second marker it'll be between the shocker amp and the 170r
1270 shots is great. thats about what 9 - 10 pods off a 77. great video, great review, keep it up!
It's really not great. Fortunately, the LV can be tuned to be significantly more efficient than it comes out of the box. I own several spools that approach a case (2000 shots) from a 77ci tank, and several poppets that can exceed that number.
@@JG-oj9jz There's a lot to unpack here.
1) What do you mean by "of course a spool gun is more efficient"? If you're unaware of the mechanisms involved in the foundations of efficiency, the poppet valve has always and will always be a more efficient design of air transfer. That doesn't mean that every marker that utilizes a poppet valve will always be more efficient than every marker that utilizes a spool valve - what it means is that the poppet design's ceiling is higher. The most efficient markers of all time are poppet valve markers. So, what am I missing by this comment?
2) I'm not talking to those that are too afraid, inexperienced or lack the functional knowledge to "mess with settings." I'm only talking to those that possess the prerequisite knowledge or ability to gain that knowledge - if that's not you then I'm sorry for offending you.
3) Why "try to tune?" Why would Planet Eclipse equip the LV1 with adjustable dwell, adjustable solenoid exhaust orifices, and two rams *if they weren't meant to be utlized?" Think about that one...so, why try to tune? Well, for one, if the user would like to increase the efficiency capability of the marker.
4) It's well known and documented that PE provides the "out of the box" marker set for maximum reliability under all conditions. Therefore, it's likely a bit over-dwelled with the SFRs set to provide a reasonably smooth yet still reliable experience. Every "out of the box" LV I've seen is set for a combination of reliability and smoothness, with efficiency taking a back seat to be nothing more than "decent."
I admire the hell out of the LV platform from a design/engineering perspective and have owned several - you mistook my comment for "hating" when it was intended for informational purposes. The platform can be tuned (by a knowledgeable owner that has desires differing from the "out of the box" experience) to be quite efficient, all while being very reliable (fortunately, those two factors go hand in hand), but not as silky smooth. It's not difficult, it's not scary, and it's logical.
@@axledog7297 👏👏👏
I don’t like the way the gun sits in hand. The old egos had that HPR that made the gym in sit higher and allowed for the fingers to wrap around the reg. Now fingers touch frame and not reg
Sucks they dropped support for the previous LV’s
I've always wanted an ego but the the shot count is just to low.
You sound like a woman. Hard to please
