I had a dream last night that I was playing pick up hockey and then you showed up. I’m a goalie so I was telling the team who picked you that they basically won the game with you there. My team left because you were a brick wall and then you kept shooing at me from your net haha. It was awesome fun

I bet that pre-season game rink will be how it feels all year for Yotes at ASU in the NHL. There is going to be some amazing fan footage coming from those games too I am sure. Quick question (to any goalie really), when you jam into those posts, does it wreck your blades?
I try to hit the post with the toe box (lace between my toe of my skate and the pad). Sometimes have to go blade on post but it very rarely even dulls the blade

Hey Kaz, toe bungees or skate lace toe ties? Do you feel one is better then the other for side to side post play? (Maybe a more solid push off post with skate lace vs bungee stretching some?) Love the vids!!

My son is a hug Bauer fan and the Hyperlite performed really well for him last season in U16AAA. The durability was disappointing but Bauer came through with warranty on the boot crack in the pads and thumb plastic issues in the glove. Are their different specs I can request to improve durability? Or do you run several sets a year.
Nothing spec wise that can improve durability. I get two pairs of pads and 4-5 sets of gloves. Theres always some wear and tear you cant prevent

Be like a sponge, absorb as many information as you can, filter through it and keep what works best for you but don’t be afraid of trying new things. Believe in yourself and love yourself because no one else will.

As a goalie, I was always made fun of by my teammates for how we look with the pants on but no pads... I really cant blame them though it looks so silly
Great technique, but 4 goals means that you analyze the situations consciously, which means you don't have the flow.
