It’s a scrub move shooting the puck after the whistle. Happens all of the time and doesn’t matter it’s a scrub thing to do.

No. The AHL is mostly a farm league for the NHL. So Montreal (Laval's parent team) are trying to develop that 22 year old goalie Dobes into becoming an NHL caliber goalie, which means he gets most of the starts regardless of who would help the team win the most.

I was thinking that you can play for the Fife Flyers in the EIHL in 🇬🇧 once your finished with the Laval Rockets. But it’s up to you. There’s 10 teams in the EIHL anyways so pick your choice if you want to. Just saying.
As a British hockey player, I wouldn't wish that even upon my worst enemies. Stay out of the EIHL it's where your hockey career goes to die.
