- Doctor Who Tiles from the Pertwee Era - Done in the Style of the Opening from the Prisoner.
I set out to do it shot-for-shot alike, but there were a couple scenes that were impossible to recreate using Who clips. Развлечения
When you know that Ron Grainer have made the themes of the two series, the video gets suddenly better lol.
I love this. Two of my favourite programmes mashed together! Well done
YAY! The 'Jon Pertwee in..' credit almost knocked me out of my chair, it's so Prisoner and yet so Dr Who. And I love the end credits - 'A BBC Production' indeed!
Superb!
'Why did you steal a Tardis? We must know!'
'I refuse to say,'
'Who is number one?'
'You are number three.'😀
Ending; Number 1 is William Hartnell ...
This is a work of genius. A perfect mash up of my two favourite programmes of all time. The selection and timing of clips is impeccable. Bravo!
Thankyou, I really appreciate comments like this 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it
Pertwee's entrance, knocking into Rotund Bespectacled Man, at 0:54 had me in stitches
This is magnificent! Thank you for matching my childhood Doctor with my adult obsession.
Excellent combination of two of my all time favorite TV shows. Be seeing you 😁!
Honestly wow! The shame of it is that there are fewer people now that can understand the clever montage you've created. Well done.
Brilliant! Must have taken ages to find and match the scenes. Thank you for putting a great big smile on my face. 😃
A decided twinkle in the eye there. My hat's off to you for all the time and effort put into this... and what makes it even more enjoyable is the reflection that Ron Grainer wrote the title themes for both series.....
Absolutely priceless! Laughed out loud and I’d love to see it told like the Prisoner, it’d still be great.
Dude! That is a work of love and art - Perfect!
I love it! I haven't seen anything this funny since the "rural" version of The Prisoner opening titles. (And, curiously enough, Pertwee's "Doctor" costume seems to fit in quite well.)
I Love This Tooooo!.... Thanks to Whoever made this, and put it out...so random, what a mashup... Really Cheered me up.... thanks 😘
Clever mashup! and nicely done!
"Exiled" instead of resigned. Nice touch.
Oh just brilliant! Wonderfully matched footage!
Brilliantly done! 😎
Doctor Who with a different ‘slant’, but the title music still composed by Ron Grainer.
Two on of my favourite TV show combining into one
John Pertwee my favourite and the car wow
HELL YES! Using Space: 1999 for this ought to be canon!
Absolutely brilliant.
This is incredible.
Nice. Also, since Ron Grainer composed both themes, it works.
Brilliant! The only way it could be better is if it ended with the Doctor regenerating into Tom Baker then running round Portmeiron from Masque of Mandragora
Great concept! Bravo. I would have been tempted to type question marks over Pertwee's photo instead of X's.
Good call
This is life changing.
Nicely done! I love all the clever little details and nods to the original.
Absolutely brilliant work!!
This is very silly and I am still laughing, both thimbs up.
At college we once sprayed some fart gas through the big keyhole of the video classroom when a class was in there, watching a film in the darkened room. We joked that they probably looked like Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner, just before he collapsed, when the smell reached them... 😄
I can actually visualize a crossover with Pertwee's Doctor ending up in the Village. Maybe a fanfilm or fanfic. Brilliant idea.
Brillant
This is wonderful! Well done :)
this'd be a pretty nice regeneration if it wasn't for the frequent gassings!
That is the best thing I've seen in years.Well done !
Excellent, very well done!
how lovely
Excellent work!!
Part 2 of drWho and evil dead meets wwe. Great video dude.
Fantastic
This was excellent! 😊👍
Haha, that's brililant!!👏👏👏
Brilliant loved it 😊
😊 Awesome
Great job! Very funny!
Thanks 😀
Very well done!
Thank
you very much!
Fantastic!
Be seeing you, but do reverse the polarity flow. 😁
superb
Top Notch 👍👍
Nice..
Can you please do The Prisoner (2009) 12th Doctor Style?
Fat Colin Baker is "Number Six!" ... And when he finally gets to know the identity of "Number One," he'll discover it's William Hartnell! ... "Number One" wants to know why "Number Six" quit?
"I'm not a number! ... I'm a Timelord!"
great idea but it just doesn't work for me somehow but I realize the hard work you put into this
Fair enough haha 🙂 Maybe it would be better with another Doctor
@@Doctor_Smith I disagree, this is the perfect Doctor to use for this. He was a prisoner of sorts, he had the little yellow car, it all fits.
@@RobTFirefly It's just a pity there isn't footage of him looking out of a window at a gravel pit to use to match McGoohan looking out at The Village.
