I listened to the whole Black Celebration in a car a few days ago and after all these years, I still got goosebumps listening to this song and about two others (It doesn't matter two and Stripped, I think). I've never seen this version, but it's great - I love acoustic versions generally, and acoustic versions of DM songs played BY a DM songwriter.. what more can you ask for? :) This is probably how he originally composed it somewhere in his living room...

They've never played it on any of their stops here. Im glad I found this clip, although Id really love much more to hear them perform the full version. Amazing tune.

I simply love that 'bluesy' feeling at the "happens here in this house" line, where shifts the melody -1 tone!
