I’m a fan of these units because there is no handling fuel. I think having the solar panels is a wonderful, easy way to charge them.

One think to keep in mind is that the output of solar panels is determined by the weakest part of the panel. If a part of the panel is shaded, even if its only a small part, the output gets down quite a bit. So leaning the tool box against the panel did bring down the solar input; maybe test again with an unshaded panel.

Sean because of you and the other Chateau's using EcoFlow my husband & I have purchased our first one being delivered this week. Living on the West Coast of Canada we sometimes can loose power due to storms and we now feel we are ready for anything! Thank you Sean & EcoFlow!

We also live on the West Coast of Canada and just received our Delta Max 2 a couple of days ago. Definitely needed here when trees come down from storms. We have been testing it out running the fridge, TV and lights and are very pleased so far. Only wish we had wheels on the unit as it is very heavy.
I would think a furniture dolly would do the trip has wheels on all four corners and a bit of carpet on it so unit won't slid off.
Glad you have support from EcoFlow - this project is really moving along. Hopefully you will have a break in the weather and can get the repairs done to the roof you need to finish the area around the chimney
These eco flow units are so handy after a hurricane when sometimes we have to wait a couple weeks to get power back. It’s usually sunny all the time here so the solar panels don’t have a problem.

I'm planning to get some of these next year when I move. The handles make it perfect for me to take it camping and the whole system is great for my environment since I work from home. Kudos to Ecoflow.

I feel like an expert with the use of Ecoflow. Nearly all the Chateau vlogs I watch have been issued with this machine and and solar panels and then given the full demo. Apart from one Chateau all have been satisfied. Hope this has brought them a lot of business with all this exposure. Enjoy.

I’m thinking it would be awesome to have one I could run my furnace with in the winter if the power goes out. We have very cold winters that can be deadly if you can’t get warm. They sound great!

The way I see Ecoflow is not as a purchase per se, but as an investment. As you indicated, if you’re power goes out, as it has recently all over France, it could save all of your stored/frozen foods, keep power on any medical equipment you have that you need, etc. It sounds well worth the output of money. Congrats to you Sean.

lol I was reading the comments complaining about the sound of the fan. You should run the gas generator so they can hear the difference . The EcoFlow is quiet and only gets loud when it is receiving or sending high voltage. The rest of the time it is absolutely quiet.

Actually, we've been looking into getting an ecoflow for charging our cordless batteries when working on projects around our farm. Currently we are often working a 20 minute walk away from the nearest outlet for charging.

Of all the channels that use EcoFlow, most seem to be genuinely pleased with the performance. That is very good advertising for their products. The solar panels are so mobile and lightweight that they seem easy to set up anywhere.

I would love to get one of these EcoFlow units. I have a neuromuscular condition that makes it necessary for me to use a BiPap machine at night (and periodically throughout the day, sometimes). Mind you, I don't need supplemental oxygen, but the muscles that help you breath can get weary after a few hours and the BiPap is more of an assist, if you get my meaning. I live in an area of the US that is in the path of a lot of hurricanes in the fall. It can cause a lot of anxiety thinking that I might not have power when my lungs decide they need a rest.

Thanks for doing this Sean, you sold me when you said it can switch from mains to backup with an additional part. As thats what I use the backup battery and inverter for.
But I have to disconnect from mains first then connect the inverter to house.
Never know when electric comes back on again . Its just a faff. This os a Great system

These Eco Flo units are great for collecting energy with solar panels. During a black out, the unit will keep pumping the well for water to supply the bathroom, which is top on my list of priorities!!

The unit is fabulous, it would work magnificently for a camper van, without the necessity of all the wiring and when the van wasn't in use you could use it elsewhere. Truly wonderful. Sean you needs to have a calendar for Australia too, maybe next year.

It's only rely relevant if you can run it completely by solar surely? A recharge via the mains is hardly off-grid is it?
This was done to illustrate how fast it can charge . Don't you think l know its not off grid
These battery banks are excellent but they still can’t power my 5 ton air conditioner for more than half an hour or so. I live in New Orleans where living without air conditioning is miserable. (A typical summer day here would be 95degrees with 90% humidity). Because of this I still need a generator but will still purchase one of these solar power stations when I get the chance.
Good test for the Ecoflow! Having a five year warrany is reassuring too.
Could you please test running your freezer off this new ecoflow and powering by solar . I think lots of people would like to get one if it worked out ❤

I really like the look if these echoflow products. One thing that bothers me on the pro, is it has very noisy fans when charging from the mains.

It's because it charges so fast
Can I suggest that you build a frame for the solar panels out of wood, with a pivot, so that it can be moved to where the sun is you’re not getting anywhere near the amount of solar absorption that you could be getting having it just leaning against the wall
