Sean, that side table was a steal. You will fix up the scratches. Those are awesome antiques shops. Thanks for bringing us to the UK to visit your mom for her birthday.❤
The big urns for outside gardens caught my eye...I can't find them here in my area anymore. I would go crazy there! Thanks for taking us along to your Mum's birthday shindig Sean.
Wow, what a wonderful day at the antique shops. So much ”eye candy”! Thanks for sharing your day, Sean. I can always count you for my end of the day treat. John in Berthel, Missouri. USA
Your trip looked fun. I don’t ever get tired of seeing everyone on the ferry going from England to France!! I didn’t know that you could get a room to rest in..
Love your little table you bought! Fell in love with the marble top, half table and really enjoyed the table full of big cats! Thanks for taking us with you.
Sean when my friend was home a few years ago she bought the moulds to make her own concrete ornaments for the garden. I thought that's something you would be interested in. Loving seeing your videos of home. Happy belated birthday to your mum. ❤
Hi Sean, what a nice day out in the UK, I love your table, I have a similar one in my front sitting room. Thank you for bringing us along. Always love a good shopping day. Love from N.Y.
I'm a bit puzzled as to why these last few videos weren't over on your Sean's Universe channel, seems a more appropriate place for them. Glad you had a great time, that was a really neat little antiques row! Loved the side table, good bargain!
@@Seans_World Seans World - renovations. Seans Universe - travel. Smh? 🤔🤷♀ You're in England = travel. So is antiquing going to be on Seans World, or Seans Universe? Or does WHERE you go matter as to which channel you upload to? Now I'm more confused as to the "priority for content". Puzzle pieces!
I’m only 20 mins from the market so you’ve inspired me to get down there tomorrow. Just a shame I can’t take things back to my place in France!! Nice one Sean
Hello, how close are you to Hitchin, Hertfordshire? That is where I was born. My dad was in the Air Force and met my mum there. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
In the USA we call a table like that a gate leg table, the wood looks to be black walnut, what do you think? It is a very nice table and wow I think you got a deal!
The antiques in France are far nicer with much more finesse than what I saw in the English shops. The prices are awfully high in both countries for what would be considered just old second hand furniture here in the States.
Is the Portsmouth route better than Newhaven? I've only ever done Portsmouth to Bilbao. The UK prices for antiques have gone bonkers. Some lovely pieces there mind, especially that American chandallier. Wouldn't look out of place in a Tuscany villa either.
I realize this is a little off topic but I don’t want to forget to share an idea. I was watching a different channel called 2nd Empire Strikes Back and he is using a needle scaler to remove stains from the foundation rocks. Nothing else would work. I wonder if a needle scaler would work on the fireplace rocks in the cottage?
Why don't you try and come along to the vintage fairs at the museum of power or at maldon over the summer at the weekends? Be more like a vid grenier, I've managed to pick up royal Copenhagen collectors plates for a couple of quid, and vintage Hazel's pottery (was near Warley, now at barelylands) there 👌 Do feel. Sorry for one poor seller I saw last time, they put a reslly old vinal record out in the hot sun and it melted!
Thanks for taking us on a channel trip with you. Hope your Mum had a wonderful birthday 🥳
A stained glass door would look lovely on your renovated cottage .
I was thinking the same.
Sean, that side table was a steal. You will fix up the scratches. Those are awesome antiques shops. Thanks for bringing us to the UK to visit your mom for her birthday.❤
Your welcome Peter
Love shopping with you Sean, you control my spending 😂
The big urns for outside gardens caught my eye...I can't find them here in my area anymore. I would go crazy there! Thanks for taking us along to your Mum's birthday shindig Sean.
So nice of you
Loved the shopping music….felt like an episode of “This Old House”.
The table is wonderful, good find.
Wow, what a wonderful day at the antique shops. So much ”eye candy”! Thanks for sharing your day, Sean. I can always count you for my end of the day treat.

Thanks
I could stay days in this place! Prices are a bit high but the objects are beautiful!
Great antique centre and glad you rescued that side table this type of furniture is very underrated but so useful 😊❤
Definitely useful 👌
I’m with you Sean I could get lost in that Antique Centre. Absolutely glorious. Thanks for taking us along
Glad you enjoyed it
Your trip looked fun. I don’t ever get tired of seeing everyone on the ferry going from England to France!! I didn’t know that you could get a room to rest in..
I do agree UK is better then other European countries to go antique shopping. You bought so very nice things, love these trips, thanks for sharing.
great vid, hope to see the table all done
You found a lovely old table that I know you will be able to fix and enjoy in your home. Thanks for taking us along Sean.🙏❤️
My pleasure
@@Seans_World hi, are you interested in nice vintages?
I have a few tonnes in a storage in France.
Thanks for your answer 😌🤗
If that means yes, where can I contact you?. Thanks 🤗
Lovely visit - you seem happier in UK - go soon again
That chandelier was stunning and your table was a bargain. Thanks for taking us along.
My pleasure
It's like you made that video just for me, omg all the potential garden decor there! I'd have been in heaven.
Your welcome
My kind of place!!!❤❤
Love your little table you bought! Fell in love with the marble top, half table and really enjoyed the table full of big cats! Thanks for taking us with you.
A delightful character purchase, sometimes known as a card table...
Lovely video..those shops were amazing 👍
Thanks
A lovely day out Sean! Like the shops.💋
Lovely spending some time in England. Funny thing, I was going to ask if you could spend more time at your moms and have a look around. Thanks Sean.
Maybe one day!
Hello Spinnaker! That’s
where my daughter works!
There were some very nice things in those antique shops. Portsmouth looks quite good from the water! Thanks for the visit. 😃
Very nice Sean. Great antiques.
Thanks 👍
Oh my gggoodness…my dreams are coming true!!..thank you very much
You are so welcome!
I love Battlesbridge. I live in Southend so not far to go to. Great video
So many intersting things!
I must say you have better antiques in France and UK than we have in Wisconsin USA!
Do we?
Absolutely! Probably because our country is so young in comparison
Sean when my friend was home a few years ago she bought the moulds to make her own concrete ornaments for the garden. I thought that's something you would be interested in. Loving seeing your videos of home. Happy belated birthday to your mum. ❤
Yes l have done the same myself
Loved antiquing with you. I think this video is the best yet. Thank you.😊
I forgot about that place might go down there the weekend
Parisian music in Essex 😜love the table 😊

Hello great video today thanks for sharing
Your welcome
Great video. What fun! Thanks so much❤.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff, Sean. Thanks for sharing!
I would think it all depends on what you're looking for!
Great idea for a TV show - you could call it Bargain Hunt...
What a great idea 💡 👏
Great purchase, thanks for taking us along
Loved your little home trip ❤
Thanks 👌 😊
If I had know you was sailing from Portsmouth, I would of waved you off from Gosport Harbour 🙂
👋
Looks like some really nice things
Wow amazing Antique,s, we don't get anything like that over here. In NZ. Thanks for showing us.
Thanks for watching!

While iam in England it's on Sean's world as that takes priority for content. New video out tomorrow for Sean's universe ✨️

I love the table you bought. We had one similar to that, just bigger.
Yes we're useful 😀
So fun!!
If you have apple trees, you might want to consider the apple press!
Already have one, had it for several years
In the USA we call a table like that a gate leg table, the wood looks to be black walnut, what do you think? It is a very nice table and wow I think you got a deal!
Mahogany, yes gate leg or drop leaf
I agree. I would consider it multitasking. It could be used in any room and any decor. Beautiful.
❤

All antique furniture is old second hand furniture that you see for sale isn't it?

Don't know
I wish I could send you some money and have you go shopping for me! Hard to find many antiques here on Maui!
Hi maybe check out my online shop www.welcometoseansworld.com
20 Euros for the table? That's not bad. I'm sure you can restore that, no problem.
How much does it cost to go on the Ferry across the Channel?
80
Looks like things are a lot more expensive in England… Good deal on the table…

Hi Suzanne, unfortunately not it has soaked deep into the stones, a needle scaler only really does the top few millimetres
@@Seans_World ok. I’d never seen one before.
