This is a long one, I hope you all make it to the goofy stuff towards the end! And definitely let me know your options of the kit after all the inconsistencies I discovered. Thanks again for watching! 🤘

I can really get into these as an inexpensive set for a banging finale. Great breaks, great price 👍.

It was definitely a fun time editing this one. Even rewatching it I keep thinking of more stuff I could have added!

Sounds like they’re pumping out Excalibur shells so fast that they don’t have time to get the right labels on. You are absolutely correct about using these shells in a finale. I do. I look for shells that aren’t labeled or numbered and fire 48 off in 5 seconds. I think you did an entertaining job on the editing!

Despite the mislabeling, the breaks were great and the price is very good. If I get more, I won't spend a lot of time worrying about the specific effects, but I've still got ideas for doing more demos too...
Glad you liked the edits! I spent hours going through all the different sound effects. It was really fun and I'm glad it turned out well.

Ex cals are definitely the OG of canister shells and one every pyro who is worth their salt must shoot. That being said I have not shot them yet I emphasize yet because I will definitely shoot some this year somewhere. As for the descriptions not matching, I don’t really worry about that because I would use these just for fun or with multiple other shells as part of an opening or finale of a show. I know you pride yourself on matching the description with the actual effects of the fireworks so I can see where these would frustrate you a little. Well they are still solid shells and this was a great demo and better editing job.

They're definitely good shells and have a place in any repertoire. That said, I was a little annoyed that I'd spent so much time looking for labeling consistency that was totally non-existent. Just something I'll keep in mind the next time I pick up a kit...
Glad you enjoyed the editing. It took way too long to do for every upload (almost 7 hours!) but it sure was fun. Even rewatching it now, I keep thinking of things I could've added in for more fun.🙂

Back in the day I had these every year. They were the best around back then.

I've been thinking that maybe the longevity is part of their popularity. I haven't been into pyro as long as a lot of people. Perhaps there just weren't as many options years ago.

@ there wasn’t tons out back then and they actually use to pack these pretty close to 60. Now they are a little watered down but you can’t beat them for the price.

I liked the shells and what they looked like, I generally do not rely on nor look at descriptions . Nice editing job 👍

The shells really did look good for fillers and finales. Glad you liked the editing. I had a lot of fun doing it. You'd be surprised how tricky it is trying to search for sounds that we don't really spell (raspberry didn't work for thppppbbbttt!)😂

These are good shells. I had a 6/24 case from 2018. They are known for being mislabeled. Of the ones that I shot, the label was correct. Also there were a few odd years (I believe) that seemed to be watered down. Overall I would get them again for some sky puke 😂thanks for sharing man 👍💥

I'll definitely will buy them again but I definitely won't spend time writing down all the descriptions! Honestly, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'm gonna have a good time when I shoot cans whether they have accurate labels or not. It's just so much fun to have the big booms! 😃

@@603pyro I'll buy them again but probably just for random shells. You just can't beat that price.

Definitely some of the best shells back in the day, don't compare to alot of these new ones now days but still great shells, I personally think the og ones were the best

I'll still get them again but I probably won't focus too much on trying to pick out specific effects. That seems like a disappointment waiting to happen.

With the Fiberglass tubes a Really Cool Effect is ripping off the Labels and the Fiberglass Glows with Lift Charge, just a Cool Effect if you want it, Excals are Notorious/Infamous for Mis-Lables, but it's always a Blast 😂

    • @VermontPyroBoys802
      @VermontPyroBoys802  27 дней назад +1

@@pyrodiscoflash6115 I've heard that about the tube but would be concerned about getting fiberglass in my hands too. All the tubes I have from the Terminator shells are unwrapped. I'll have to build a small frame for trying those out 😀.

I like these cans 👍 Not a lot of other cans to pick from in this neck of the woods. They sure do echo nice🎆 ruclips.net/video/AzGGBY36GaM/видео.htmlsi=Wj0_xDtOYovNK12S

Thanks for sharing the video. Everything had a great boom and echo that night! Not sure where you're located (did you tell me you were in the south of the state once?) but yes, It can definitely be slim pickings for pyro in VT. I'm actually planning on driving three hours to Hookset Fireworks, NH on my next day off to pickup more stuff. She's got Excals for $80 and lots of other shell kits too. I'd definitely recommend the store. She's only open by appointment this time of year but it's definitely worth the drive.

@VermontPyroBoys802 Thanks I am just a few miles south of Montpelier in Berlin. My local fireworks store is in Eastmontpelier, North Star

@henryleslievermont6004 Alright. I definitely shop at Northstar frequently. Their prices on cannisters are pretty good too. They usually have a few kits to choose from as well. That's where I got the Terminator shells. Very cool pack and they're currently on sale for less than $100! (I paid $110, but still think it was a great value).
