"Non-Binary" makes no sense. It means that you don't fit into one of two categories. But if there's binary people and non-binary people then that's means there are still 2 options. So by making this arbitrary distinction you are actually making yourself even more "binary" than before
You can always boil down a diverse set of elements into 2 options. Strawberries, bananas, broccoli, corn. Becomes fruits, vegetables. It’s out of 4, and it always will be.
People who identify as non-binary can’t even agree on what it means, I had a phase when I was trying to learn every sexuality, pronouns all that stuff (that was a mistake, I didn’t even get through everything starting with the letter A) but I knew some stuff before and one of that was non-binary but I was and still am confused because depending who you ask it means something different „It’s a third gender” „It’s something in-between genders” „It’s a combination of both genders” no. I’m autistic, I need a clear and consistent definition that all of you can agree on, if not, I’m not following, definitions exists for a reason. The only case where a person doesn’t fit into binary is when they are born intersex, which is rare, I never met an intersex person but if I would I would understand why they may struggle with „claiming” pronouns to themselves as their bodies aren’t the typical XX or XY. I’d like to add that from thing I saw online (I know it’s not that great of a resource) intersex people still choose to portray themselves as the gender their bodies mostly look like. Androgynous people are often referred by their appearances. A lot of Asian divinities are Androgynous. Nonbinary are internal and often unnoticed. One of my best friends is a lipstick femme but never felt like a woman nor man. Gender fluid people are at a different part of the spectrum depending on the day. They feel different, move different, want to look different. I know... it sounds odd doesn't it. Dress, look, act femme but feel nonbinary, gender fluid, or masculine happens a lot. I date lipstick femme sapphic ladies 90% of the time. Sometimes not. Lipstick Femme appearing sapphic ladies can be the total opposite in the inside. For me, I find those contrasts extremely attractive. First of all, please know that femme sapphic or femme bi ladies are not all the same. Lipstick femme - those are high femmes that apprear almost 💯 too femme that no one can even tell that they like females. Many are closeted or scared of being rejected by other sapphic ladies because they appear so high femme. Some of them go without dating a female past 25, 35...50. Then you have Sporty Femme. A lot of athletes are that. They may not wear makeup, may not wear male clothes but prefer to carry themselves casual, not in those high heals, might prefer to wear jeans and shorts, sportswear, and have their hair bundled in a ponytail most of the time. The way they walk, talk, react is not femme. In normal population, people probably see them tomboyish. Depending on the sport, 50 or 60% of femme presenting athletes are sapphic and closeted. Majority of sapphic or bi olympians are closeted. Then you have soft butch sapphic and bi ladies that still have those femme features but would dress masculin, short hair, mid length hair, no make up, and tend to attract more femme featured ladies. Gender fluid sapphic ladies literally goes all over the spectrum. Lipstick, high feels, body contouring clothes, to complete male clothes, they can be submissive, subordinate, a bottom in bed, wanting their partner to take the lead, but on other days, they are completely opposite. Femme with high masculine traits. (They are my favorite). They hit on females like males, tend to earn more and take their ladies out, pick up the tab, buy jewelry, take them to a vacation, pay the tuition, health coverage, buy the cars, pay the mortgages, love to control decesion makings. They tend to be top in bed. Some are switches. They don't like others to tell them what to wear. They tend to be the one that proposes and controls the wedding timing. They seem to hold themselves accountable for child expenses, grandma expenses. It's really interesting, they have all the femme features but take on emotions, thoughts and actions of a masculine role. I prefer lipstick femme sapphic females that are extremely masculin inside, initiates potential date approaches, don't hesitate to have multiple platonic gfs, loves to dominate in life and in bed, (literally, they move like a male in bed), equally established, a leader, self motivated, able to look after 3 generations, and independent. They are extremely difficult to spot. You have to be willing to search them with quite a zeal to find them.

By categorizing people as either binary or nonbinary, you are once again binary.
Wouldn’t that be ternary?
Wth happend to male and female genders only😭😭🙏🙏 Why we gotta make this lgbtq+ thingy. Sure it’s funny sometimes because people say “I identify as a Walmart bag” or “I identify as boiled water”
Male and female are still there, yall made up gender then got upset when people added on to that
Intersex people exist and people made up only being female and male
Because LGBTQ+ isn't just about genders it's also about sexualities lol
"Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer,"
There is only men or women. It’s biologically clear and distinguishable between those two.

@@AbsolutelyAri1You are talking about gender not sex, but then, you people refer to trans people using male and female (sex) instead of man and woman (gender).
Who remember when fashion had no gender
That's because everyone bought white dyed clothes because it was cheaper and common lmao. In the beginning when they did have colors, men were at first pink, symbolizing passion and aggressiveness, and girls being blue, symbolizing being dainty
Fashion has always been sold in gendered categories.
@@mercury3352 Not true, look up baby Franklin Roosevelt
@@ethanol294 that wasn’t because of gender, that was because dresses are easier to change diapers in and white could be bleached which made sense for messy kids. Babies wore the same thing until about 6 or 7 when changes starters to show right before puberty. Around that age you’d get your first haircut and start wearing proper girl or boy clothes. Babies just weren’t really seen as either, but when they did start looking like boys or girls then they did have gendered fashion
@@mercury3352 Im guessing with different body types comes different fashion, it makes sense babies/toddlers had the same clothes because they have the same figure too

So what is nonbinary exactly then 🤣
Someone who thinks that they are neither gender apparently. I’m glad I’ve never met someone like that because I wouldn’t be able to take them seriously.
Non Binary is another term for a person who failed in Biology.
Someone who identifies as neither a man or woman usually using they/them pronouns
“Nonbinary” is a gender identity, which is what someone feels on the inside. Though it’s easy to misunderstand, gender identity is not the same as gender expression. Gender expression is how a person chooses to express themself through their appearance (i.e through hair, clothes, makeup, etc)
While many transgender individuals have a gender expression that doesn’t traditionally correspond to their identity, it’s important to remember that they aren’t the only ones. This can also apply to cisgender people. For example, a man who likes to wear things like dresses and makeup has a feminine gender expression, even if his identity is masculine.

Please use a dictionary. Try Merriam-Webster or Collins, which you can access free online. All of the words Keara used are in there and defined.
Some people are absolutely obsessed with labels and pronouns.
But other people have lives to live.
Why are you watching content about labels and pronuns then? Shouldn't you be out there living your life?

Also how tf can you be neither of the two genders that doesn’t even make sense
Biology lesson:
Pp without uterus= boy
No pp with uterus= girl
Pp with XX chromosomes : intersex girl
No pp with XY chromosomes: intersex boy
True hermaphrodite=both a girl and boy
Science supports and proves the validity of trans and non-binary people...but go off
some people are intersex and some have chromosomal irregularities. even if what you were saying was true gender and sex have been proven to be different many many times and most psychologists agree.
@@two_5 Intersex are like so rare if we're going to normalize them we would also normalize people with 4 kidneys or 12 fingers. Intersex does exist but it's a little bit more into a gender anomaly. Or in other words, normally wouldn't happen, despite being less than 0.1% of human population, they are almost never in between male and female, usually they have a very obvious characteristic like a huge clitoris or micro-penis.
