    I STILL see people posting about Marry Me Chicken!! It has to be one of the most viral recipes I've seen in a LONG time.
    Now I have also seen plenty of vegan versions of Marry Me Chicken making it Marry ME TOFU or Marry ME Seitan... But What about a healthier version of the Marry me recipes... Mary me with more protein, less fat and less carbs... and absolutely no animal products. So here it is High Protein Vegan Marry ME TOFU!! and ITS AWESOME!!!

    I can't do oil😢 the 1 tsp blended in with the tofu was okay but I can't fry things in oil. I have cholesterol issues when I incorporate oil in my diet. I have the choice of no oil no medication or oil and medication. My choice was no oil no medication.
    Could I spray the tofu after dipping it in the breading solution and then air fry it? I have to be creative when it comes to altering recipes that just uses way too much oil for me

    I have recently made this inspired by Sam from It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken (very vaguely as I cannot follow recipes XD) and it was FANTASTIC! We have an amazing vegan cream available where I live (based on lentil proteins and originally developed for professionals) and it was just so easy to make it vegan with tofu :D Honestly one of the most comforting recipes!

      For this recipe yes. I think that video was more general. There is a tendency for people to press tofu all the time. I tend to only use double freeze tofu so you really have to press for that.

    • @ravenclawrenee

      I've never even heard of yellow asparagus. Is it more ripe?

    • @insu_na
      @insu_na 2 месяца назад +2

      @@ravenclawrenee No, it's grown underground, or rather it's harvested before the head breaches the ground. Green asparagus is grown in/above ground and is thus easier to harvest, but also chewier

  • @ChristianLove7
    @ChristianLove7 2 месяца назад

    Hi there! Thank you for adding this recipe to my cookbook arsenal😊! I would like to suggest not using the microwave, it really undoes anything healthy about this recipe. I suggest that after you use the tofu press, you then take the tofu and place it in a freezer bag or container and then place it in the freezer overnight. Then take it out let it defrost and then use the tofu press one more time. This is the safest way to remove all the liquid and firm up your tofu to chicken like texture. Thank you again and keep on cookin’!
