"not looking for a love that lasts" looking for a one-night-stand and calling what he can do in the heat of the moment "love" is a pretty stupid and fucked up thing to promote. I like a lot of Foreigner's songs. This one I particularly hate with a passion. It has a lot in common with most of the reasons most relationships are based on nonsense and real commitment is nearly impossible to find these days.

why are people bashing the singer? this guy has a great voice and really does justice to Foreigner! he may look like the runner-up of a Steven Tyler look-alike contest, but damn he can sing. They sound amazing to me, and it's not common for bands to hold up this well after so many years
The Singer is doing his best to fill Gramm's shoes. He cant be him as its not him, he is being himself and thats fans should understand. At least the band still sings.
+Zorbak962 His voice sounds veryt true to the original. The difference is very small. I mean i could feel it just like the way i would like listening to the original. That's REALLY hard to do as a artist. every voice is different, and more important every person is different. You can't expect someone to do the same as some other guy did years agoo in some studio.

We do understand that. That why ticket sales have increased one hell of a lot since Mick chose Kelly to sing in his vamped Foreigner.

OMG! This new lead singer, Kelly Hansen, is phenomenal. Nobody, nobody can do this song as good as Lou Graham, but Kelly comes exceedingly close.

Foreigner is my all-time favorite rock band. End of story. Lou Gramm solo albums were just as good. he never got the credit he truly deserved

I've seen Foreigner live many times...they are as good as it gets. This one is an absolutely killer intro by Mick with Mike paving the way with his masterful keys. Solid vocals by Kelly & the usual terrific sax solo by Tom Gimbal. Foreigner forever!

I’m old enough to remember Lou Gramm in his prime. He was very impressive. He was always going to be very difficult to replace. Foreigner has chosen well. This ‘new’ guy can sing things that Lou Gramm can no longer sing. I think he’s doing a great job of these old songs.

I had my doubts at first but was pleasantly surprised at how good these guys still sound (albeit with an almost entirely new band) after all these yrs. And although no one can truly replace the legendary Lou Gramm, I think the new guy - Kelly Hansen, who has a great voice that meshes well with their old hits, does a fine job of filling in for Lou.

I agree with what you said except now I love Kelly's voice, performance and how he's got great sex appeal too and I like him more than Lou. I did love Lou and still listen to the old Foreigner too. Kelly belongs on stage in front of an audience. It's how he started and he is a natural at it. He is in control of that stage when he is on it. Totally in control. And the rest of the band is fantastic. Mick is a great songwriter and musician, but he is a genius at putting a tight working band together.

The drummer is not nearly as energetic as Tichy love the sax player as well. They kick ass. Mic is a guitar God.
I saw this entire concert filmed at the Arcada Theatre in Chicago last night, on the PBS channel LakeShoretv. It was great, I love Kelly's voice, it's high quality and doesn't take ANYTHING away from the original lead singer at all! Kelly's voice may even be better! He does the band good and I enjoyed it all...Brought back memories for me as a teen in the 70's, loved this band, still do....

Kelly Hanson is a very talented and accomplished rock vocalist. His vocal style, intonation and pitch is very similar to Lou Gramm’s. While there will only ever be one Lou Gramm who defined Foreigner’s distinct and recognizable vocal signature, Kelly Hanson is doing an awesome job and deserves respect!

I agree with you. It's got to be very stressful and at times I can see why Kelly gets mad when the audience is rude or doesn't get involved. Kelly's voice is great as well as everything he does. He is energetic and gives each song his All. We should be thankful for him and that Foreigner is still going so good!
