It is the 4th largest city in Washington and it is becoming popular due to affordability, proximity to Portland and the Columbia River Gorge, and because Washington does not have income tax.

I used to live in the Couve, and I think it's really exciting what they're doing with the waterfront! Not only is this a big draw for SW Washington, but for the entire Portland metro area as well. Think about it, there are over 3 million people within an hour's drive of this beautiful area, so if you ask me, they shouldn't be shy about building a nice skyline to reflect on the Columbia. I really hope that the designers of the new Interstate Bridge will keep in mind that it will be the very face of Vancouver and plan accordingly.

I’m stoked too! They have been working so hard to transform the area and the vibe is so amazing down there! I can’t wait for summer time again.
