And father absence can come in different ways, like, even when the dad is "physically present".
I've fought my whole life trying to rebuild or gain what I was missing, because my dad is "absent", like, psychologically, in his own mind patterns and it's very hard to communicate and have a lucid conversation with him. And guess what, training martial arts and interacting, being a part of a group and experiencing to be "present" in the action of a sparring or drills made huuuuge healing.
Wow, that’s exactly a copy of my life. It’s so hard. I can only speak for myself, training and martial arts to which I ended up being a professional. It didn’t fill that gap though so I spent a lot of my time working on that relationship I still am. How’d you find it?

I am fatherless, but with the help of my positive male role models from real life to heroes of myth, I’ve learned what it is to be a real man. And just like martial arts as a never ending journey of perfection, being a man is a life long learning experience.

I like how you mentioned the father needing to be present, not just physically but also mentally. I can say from first hand experience, without a doubt, that I would give up extra luxury for a mentally present father. Smaller house, less cars, less money for a mentally present father without a doubt. I love my dad, very very hard working guy, but never mentally present, and as the youngest in the family, I see all the issues that it had causes under the surface amongst all members of my family. Providing for the family to me means more than the money, it also means providing myself to my family to spend quality time with them. Thanks for the insight. JAK.

It's a good message about masculinity. It takes true strength to be kind, charitable, gentle, and to be able to stand up for yourself. Model yourself from more than one person. It takes a village to raise a child. Also, stay away from the internet when looking for role models. You want to look at actual people in your community, who represent these ideals. The real men, with true masculinity isn't on the internet, screaming they're top G. They're out in society doing what's good and right. You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk. If you can walk the walk, you don't need to talk.

But you can still learn a lot from thoroughly studying the lives of exemplary figures, reading books, listening to them etc etc. Use whatever means that are as your disposal, but be careful not to fall victim to somebody who is trying to sell you something. Your run of the mill social media guru would fall into that last category.

I think Tate’s actions speak louder than his words. He made his wealth from deceit and taking advantage of people. He engages in material hedonistic pleasures and touts them as proofs of his virtue.

I think you are exaggerating. Don't interpret exploiting weak men for financial gain as sex work. That was a past business, he's a changed man since then, and has since left many of those old businesses and reverted to Islam. Many women show their bodies online as 'Onlyfans' and profit from that, though no one even attacks them like how they attack Tate. I’m so thankful to have been raised in an intact two-parent household. Both of my parents had massive libraries too in our house. I totally agree that absentee fathers is the biggest social problem in the west. But given the way welfare and child support works, the legal framework is totally abused. In fact, it’s a legal guarantee. Get knocked up, and get a check in the mail every month. Single motherhood in many communities is actually overtly encouraged

Your hate for "religion" (as if all religions or their manifestations are the same), is juvenile and irrational. You have a religion, whether you like it or not. You have guiding principles and sources of meaning that are ultimately rooted in metaphysics even if you're a hard materialist! You cannot escape this as a human being. The only difference is your level of awareness and whether you choose your path consciously or not (I can tell that you haven't judging by the fact that you're just regurgitating a popular talking point against "organized religion"). You can't just reduce profound questions of existence, meaning, purpose to "religions are bad".
Also, you cannot take the man without what literally defines him and his character. If Firas is admirable/honorable or simply respectable to you, then maybe his value system and way of life isn't so bad since that's what made him who he is. You can't admire Bruce Lee without having some level of respect for his way of life. I'm not into Taoism/Confucianism but I know that there's a lot of wisdom in that tradition and that it has produced remarkable people. Same for Hinduism, Christianity or any other traditional way of life which has spawned and sustained countless civilizations across centuries or even millennia. I can disagree with their fundamental Truth claims as a Muslim and believe that they have been corrupted from their Divine origins, but I'm not arrogant enough to just dismiss them offhand like you do. @@luislorenzo7479if you guys had an open mind you would see that our religion is not what you guys are saying. If you went to the mosque you would meet elders that would teach you masculinity. When i have a question i can either ask my father or 30 other elder at the mosque who are happy to help. When we bring our children to the mosque they play with other children and interact with 100's of people.they learn whats good and bad and get corrected when they overstep. It would greatly benefit any family to go to the mosque but only if you have an open mind

Agree 100% to be a good man you have to be a balanced man, strong physically, mentally, intellectually and emotionally.
Martial Arts and the martial way help me a ton with that, even tho I have the chance to have an amazing father, with some flaws sure, but who leads by example, always provides for those around him, always makes sure nobody is lacking.
I also have other strong role models, than i think anyone can look up to, such as GSP, Lex Fridman, Naruto Uzumuaki (even if it's fiction) Matthew McConaughey..
Now I'm 23 years old and I think I found the mother of my children and future wife. It's really important to have had healthy masculine and feminine models to prevent us to pass generational trauma to our children.
You implied that your dad either raised his voice or hit you for not obeying him. I have two children. I'm not going to hit my kids and I'm not going to raise my voice at them. I've decided to try my best to explain things to them, even if it takes time. Right now, my 3 year old doesn't always obey me. And that's fine. Because what he does as a 3 yo isn't harmful or that serious. As he gets older, I will be firmer with my instructions, and the more serious the consequences to his actions are, the less lenient I will be - but I still won't hit him. Unless he does something crazy.

Wow if a Martial Arts Coach is giving advices on life, you all should skip the video.
Why are you blaming women for child abuse when the fathers aren't present? Your assumption that these women are sleeping around without knowing the fathers is merely slut shaming. Most women know who the father is, but the man doesn't want to take responsibility for the child he didn't want. The true irony in that is the same men who want nothing to do with their children are the same crowd of men who are anti-abortion. They're forcing these women to raise children on their own simply out of their own lack of responsibility and commitment to someone. Also the mere concept that a man existing in a household brings order and stability is a fallacy. Good men raise good children, and to be a good man is to have empathy. It is easy to hate, it takes strength to be gentle and kind.
Also I know you're a very busy coach so you're not going to know the details about every person you know, but Andrew Tate is a rapist and sex trafficker. You can say that that is an alleged claim, but it's an alleged claim from multiple women, all with very credible stories. Andrew Tate is a garbage human being who has gotten whatever he's wanted at the expense of people in his life who he's abused. I'm sure you have an automatic level of respect for him because he was a fighter, but if you listened to the claims you should feel sickened by the things this man has done to women.

Coach Firas have always been a great guy who actually knows what he is teaching when it comes to martial arts. But i really have to call him out on this one because how much misleading and dangerous his ideology was.
Sure it is essential for men being a provider. But if being the provider was the one and sole thing of a man's identity. It is misleading as hell to teach this to young kids. You actually teach them to be greedy and profit-oriented dickheads who have no real sense of humanity and disregarding any important factors in social life.
You actually teach men to be a beta provider that will be used up by the wrong kinds of women instead of attracting the good ones. And in reality, not all women really cares if you are rich or capable of being the "provider" there are many broke guys out there who easily slays women and even had them being superbly loyal despite having a financial issues. Teaching guys to be the "provider" actually makes them more anxious because they will always insecure for being broke and having a low wage job.
Ironically, Firas pushing the "provider idea" are the most bluepilling shit that only dehumanizes men as an ATM and a cog in the machine and encouraging wage slaving and corporate slavery.

I was referring to the statistical norm. I agree with you in that it is not a given that if one is raised without a father that he will be underprivileged. There are many variables, however the parenting you receive seems like a major influence statistically speaking.
