      100% agree, the man devoted 20 yrs to philosophy alone. So if you wanna learn and learn fast, Firas is going to compress and ooze knowledge when he open his mouth. It's like every sentence is music to the ear, full of wisdom. Love him, i am glad that he is a brother in faith, our communities need more people like him who are just great human specimen. 6:17 amazing msg!

      Im also a wrestler and maybe because your a wrestler who can learn and add tools quickly you might be beating guys that have been doing karate or kick boxing for years idk I'm just guessing, all ik is the mediocre ppl that have a self defense on their repertoire that isn't wrestling, and they see a wrestler add another set of tools alot get intimidated and that's when you might see women like behavior, not all but theirs jealous dudes out their ik dealing with that once in a while can be a pain in the ass but just remember your roots, and I would subscribe to this guy, he's been in gsp career the whole way through.

      My father used to say that "he'd been rich, and he'd been poor, and, believe me, rich is better". I believe him. Bad things are going to happen to you. You just have to fight through them. That being said, destroying you body and brains through fighting is not going to help you in the long run.

      @KryptonKr 4 года назад +6

      sweyn forkbeard I’d rather be rich too but you’ll never be grateful for being rich if you’re never poor.
      There’s a huge difference when a guy has inherited wealth than someone who builds his wealth from poverty. The difference is in character, that rich guy who inherited it won’t feel as grateful as the one who was in poverty. The rich won’t really see value in their wealth and the person who builds it sees the value in it much more and able to manage their wealth much better than the inherited person.
      Character matters not the wealth in the end. That is what makes us a better human being not wealth.

    Lots of truth in this man> weakness of mind is big, but in addition, life's struggles have become so small in comparison to the struggle to find food, shelter, food, etc... that we are depressed to to lack of anything meaningful. Most people work for someone else, doing something they hate, being a a cog, come home to sleep and watch TV. The answer is to elevate your existence to reflect your authentic nature and desires. IMO

      Exactly. Firas has great insights to many things in life but on the matter of real medical depression he fails, but to be fair so do almost everyone who don't have first hand experience about depression and i can't blame them as, when you are mentally healthy, it's really hard to grasp how it truly is, even for someone who has been through it in the past.

    Persistence is not the same as or as having happiness. Some people are born in a war ridden country. Some are send to wars. Some are mentally unstable. Some lack insight. And I like to see you give another interview after switching from job to job and life to life and between health and sickness a couple of times and see if you are as persistent as you say you are. Not everyone is gifted with the right genes the right upbringing the ideal friends or insight in what it intales to be or become a full human with a full human experience or have the capability or opportunity to obtain or maintain that.

    It's so interesting how toughness is defined - awesome perspective! It's something I discuss in the latest video on my channel as well, & providing a blueprint for my child on how to be tough. Thank you for the content.

    When your goal is only this worldly life, it is easy to go into depression. Study shows that Religious Persons are happier. That is because true religious people has a goal which transcend this worldly life. Aiming for the life after death is the ultimate long term goal any human could ever achieved as it is the furthest destination.
    They said that the most intelligent human is the one who think and act based on the long term outcome and not easily distracted by current instant rewards or gratifications. There is a saying of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), that those who remember death the most frequently and those who prepare for death in the best manner are the most intelligent ones. This words of wisdom are actually very profound and logical given that it correlates to the ultimate long term goal that human could possibly achieved.
