    FINALLY! Life saver! I've been going around in circles with trying to do part of my tests by hand and part in the calculator and every time coming up with the wrong answer. Thank you so much!

    In case anyone just needs the TI-83 version: 5:45
    The method is very good. Simple and memorable given familiarity with the 83.

    Thank you so much for making this, for whatever reason my school seems to think it is illegal to show students how to actually use the technology that they are making mandatory for us to use.

    This doesn’t work. The x^2 calc value is way too big to be correct. I watched the video a few times and tried two different problems, still does not work.

      Hi Vincent, are you having problems reproducing the results on your calculator, or are you thinking there is something wrong with the video itself? In either case, can you provide more details of where you are encountering a problem?

  • @arkhammaster9120

    How do you use percentages in expected? Please get back to me.

    • @OpenIntroOrg
      @OpenIntroOrg  4 года назад

      Always convert to proportions instead of percentages (e.g. 23% --> 0.23) when doing expected value, variance, or standard deviation calculations.
      (Does that answer your question?)
