    after subtracting alpha/2 from the equation solver and pressing enter, i am not taken to the screen that shows the x value. when i tried an hour ago, it worked. i am following the video directly and am confused why it isn't working anymore.

    I finally found a video that helped me solve these critical values. Thank you SO MUCH!!

    IB students - Easier way: E1 = 1 - alpha-value; E2 = x^2cdf(0, X, df)

    Thanks for the tutorial! Working from the older TI-84 Plus and, silly, I know, I can't figure out how to clear the solver to start a new problem.

      For future reference other people in the comment section: after you finish the problem. Go back to 4:00 timestamp in the video ..... thats where you can edit the (0,x, ______) - _____ //////// just incase anyone else was stuck for a second like I was. Lol

    5:00 if you have a newer model

    I had a problem with 143 degrees of freedom with a Minitab printout of this. The book said to estimate using 150 using the table. I searched forever for this. Thank you!!

    Thank you! Quick question: I know how to perform L5 = L4 + 2 but if I create two new user-defined lists say A and B, I cannot perform A = B+2 (It does not work). Can you please help me with this?

    • @shawnpavlik3756
      @shawnpavlik3756 3 года назад

      It probably is not understanding that A and B are referring specifically to lists. Can you use the L1, L2, L3 as provided, or do you have too many lists for that to work?

    The number subtracting the equation is 1-alpha right? I got the # I wanted when I did that not equation-alpha

    • @shawnpavlik3756
      @shawnpavlik3756 4 года назад

      The number subtracted from the equation is alpha/2 and 1 - alpha/2.

    I had a question? you said that your sample size is 18 so wouldn't your df be 17? I got a little confused..

    • @shawnpavlik3756
      @shawnpavlik3756 3 года назад +2

      She said her sample size was 19, so dof is 18.
